Forum Rules
.) Obey the ToS and general C.H.A.O.S. rules. If you're not familiar with the rules of Gaia, then read this.
.) Do not blatantly advertise for your own RP in any thread but the OOC one. A character might suggest that another go to another thread ((IE: A might walk to the Lounge with B)), but blatant advertising is disruptive to the flow of the RP and not acceptable. Deciding in OOC chatter to move to another thread is fine, but posting something along the lines of "Come to my thread!" in OOC talk is not acceptable.
.) This is the un-Literate RP forum. That means actions with asterisks (*) are actually okay. Use of quotation marks for talking and Spellcheck are optional. Also remember grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. is not needed.
.) Double-posting will not be tolerated in the RP(s). So please, do not double-post. Not even if you are bored and the RP is not moving at the pace you think it should be moving. It's disruptive to your fellow RPers.
.) No godmoding. This should be a given, but it still should be emphasized, because it is highly disruptive to the process of roleplaying. Godmoding includes controlling the actions/speech of other people's characters without their consent and being completely perfect combat wise. If you must control the actions of a character, you must have their OOC consent with the act beforehand. Likewise, if you must have a nigh invulnerable character, you must have the consent of the thread owner beforehand.
.) No OOC drama. While there are times that you are sure to disagree over matters, we expect you all to try to resolve them in an elegant and mature way. If this is impossible, then PM me or another mod and we'll try to sort it out between the two parties reasonably. In character drama, however, is lovely.
.) What a character believes and what their creator believes may be very different, so keep that in mind. A's RP character might detest B's, but that doesn't mean A actually hates you.
.) No elaborate post decorations in your RP posts. It makes it hard to read your posts.
.) Keep colored font to something neutral. You might adore neon pink text, but not everyone can read it. If someone asks for your to change your font color or size while RPing because it strains their eyes, then either comply or leave the roleplay.
.) If a thread has specific rules, follow them. Thread owners are within their power to exclude you from a roleplay if you are being disruptive.
