The Journey
A Pteras circles overhead, but its objective is less than hostile. Upon catching sight of the customized Gun Sniper known readily as "Blaze" nearing the hanger for the night, it lowered its feet to land with a heavy thud on the hard dirt ground, tossing a cloud of dirt up around it. The man inside leaped from the cockpit in a rush, a ripped letter held tightly in his grasp.

However he may get Nicky's attention, he delivers the note:
"The rebels are on the move. We've recieved word that they are headed north, northwest along Geiser pass. We have knowledge of an important find out that way, and we require your sniping skills to head them off. Don't call attention to yourself, and stay away from the caverns."

Geiser pass is just that; horribly rocky terrain with steaming geisers erupting at intervals over a two mile stretch. Caverns dot the ridges, making sniping both easy (many crevases), and nearly impossible (the geisers lurk every few feet, and threaten the armor of zoids). However, inside of the caverns is not as treacherous as outside. What would the Empire want to keep Nicky out of them during her mission? This rogue band of Helic Republic fighters is known to be rather ruthless, but their organization is poor. Most likely, they're after whatever the Empire is hiding.

Quest- Log #1

Nicky snatched the note from the apparently rushed man. As her sapphire orbs scanned the letter many questions arose in her head. Don't go near the caverns? she questioned in her mind. Never the less she must complete this mission with ought any questioning.
"Yes sir." She raised her right hand to her forehead in a proper salute.
Blaze turned round as the soldier approached Nicky. He stepped closer to his partner than let out a quiet hiss in question to what that was all about. His ears were perked forward. Nicky waited for the man to be out of sight before she replied to the curious zoid.
"It's a mission. We best leave tonight, we are to be extra stealthy on this mission." Nicky whispered to her partner.
Blaze slowly nodded in acknowledgement before he lowered his head and opened his cockpit. without hesitation Nicky leapt into the cockpit and switched on the radar.
"Alright, set course for Geyser pass. They said avoid the caverns... so we also have to be very careful. The steam from the geysers will destroy your armor." She mentioned to Blaze after making sure all com-links were off and un-tapped. Blaze again nodded than speed off. This time he would not have the extra boost of his boosters, they might cause attraction to himself by the glow.

Nicky looked over the letter again for any missed details. She still found it odd that they would forbid her to enter the caverns. Blaze's radar flashed up in the front left corner of the cockpit. Six small red dots begun to outline areas on the map. Command wolves. We must be close to the geysers... Nicky thought as she studied the map and the enemy zoid locations. The terrain had become more rocky and uneven. This is where she now would really have to watch her step. The geysers could be anywhere and erupt at any time.
Blaze slowed his pace to a stealth jog, than a walk. Nicky leaned forward in her seat to get a better look and pick out a good sniping spot. There were many good ones to choose from, witch was perfect. First rule of sniping is never snipe in the same spot twice. With many places to hide in this wouldn't be so difficult.

The command wolves themselves looked as if they wanted to be stealth too. Amateurs, all of them. A grin rolled across Nicky's face as she moved into the nearest sniping location. Geysers around the area started to go off, but none in such an area that it gave away Blaze's position. The command wolves begun to startle a bit as some went off around them.

As Blaze firmly planted his feet into the ground the pilot's seat stretched back than flipped over. Blaze himself whirled around and straitened his head so that it perfectly aligned with his neck and tail. Nicky gripped the trigger on the sniper taking aim at the leader zoid in the group. The cross in her scope aimed just in front of this unlucky zoid. Nicky's finger set firmly on the trigger for the right moment. The white nose of the command wolf centered in the cross. With just a pull of Nicky's finger a large bullet left the sniper riffle with a loud crack. The bullet when flying through the air entering the command wolf before the crack of the gun could be heard. It priced the cockpit, completely destroying the face and anyone who had been in the pilot seat. Nicky didn't wait for a confirmed hit before she relocated. The pilot seat returned the normal position along with the pilot. Blaze moved to the second location marked on the map.

The group of zoids stirred as one of their group leader had just been terminated. Each head whirled about dramatically looking for anything. Another crack rolled across the terrain and as before the cockpit of the second command wolf burst. Two down, four to go. Nicky though with another grin. But this was a bit odd for even bandits, usually there was by this time the zoids begun to spread out. They caught on to her little game. Nicky, as quickly as before, relocated spots. It was hard not to leap into one if the caverns, it would be much easier to snipe in rather than using large rocks and depressions in the ground. With each cavern she passed the more the question bit at her mind.

Again she target the nearest target. This one was as obviously confused as he would stop every few seconds, look around, than pick up his pace. Nicky waited for him to stop once more. CRACK! Off went the zoids head. This time the bullet passed through head on and lodged itself into the zoid's core. This caused the reaming three to gather again. Each one headed toward the last area were their friend had transmitted a signal. But, as twice before, Nicky moved across the map to the next location. This time a geyser went off nearly catching Blaze. He jumped to the side in a quick reaction to the hot steam. This was a big mistake on his part. The wolves looked up from their position catching a quick glimpse of the gunsniper.
"Sniper!" one shouted over the com-link.
Nicky growled at there discovery. "One more Blaze... Than we can take them."

Blaze whirled around again ready to snipe. Nicky had little time to aim perfectly, but she made sure she stuck another pilot dead before putting the snipe riffle away. Another crack and her position was shot, but not all in vein as the fourth pilot went down. The other command wolves charged for Blaze, but he would be ready. Both blades extended, glowing as they rest horizontally at his sides. Nicky didn't catch anymore groups in this area so she found this action to be alright. As she charged forward the geysers around begun to erupt more violently. She pied half her thoughts to where these ghastly killers would and were coming up. The two remaining command wolves, quite the opposite, pied little if any mind to the geysers. All their focus was on Blaze.

Nicky noted how far apart they were, just long enough for one run-through of Blaze's blades. She charged in with speeds not known for gunsnipers to reach without their boosters and in such little time. Both wolves charged with their heads lowered, the typical charging stance for wolves. It took only but a second for the three zoids to pass each other. One wolf managed to receive only a small scratch. It jumped out of the way just as blaze tore through the other command wolf along with its pilot. Blaze stuck his large claw into the ground using it to quickly around. The two zoids faced off. The wolf did not look like it wanted to back down, neither did Blaze or Nicky. They charged again. This time Blaze jumped to the left as the command wolf charged close. quickly Blaze kicked out with his right foot forcing the zoid to meet with the ground. As the wolf hit the dark soil Blaze sprang yet again this time near the wolves head, and cockpit. The large anker claw lifted only giving the pilot to reflect on life for a second before it came down crushing the pilot and the zoids face.

Nicky let out a sigh as she finished off the zoid. This was very odd. None of the zoids sent out distress signals... or even called for back up. This must not have been the rouges. These people were careless... Any republican would have called for back up. Or maybe the were full of themselves? Nick shook her head.
"Blaze, find a cavern... we need to scope this place out." She folded her arms across her chest.
Blaze cocked his head to the side and hummed very quietly. "We?re not going to look in it, just use it for cover for now. I need to figure something out."
Obediently Blaze walked toward the nearest cavern. it looked deep, but save none the less. Blaze did a quick scan of the cave before stepping through. They were in deep enough to avoid and enemy that may pass by, but were not in so deep that they themselves could not see the exit safely. Nicky again turned the map screen on and scanned it carefully. At this moment there were no more zoids in the area... Maybe they have not arrived? These thoughts itched at her mind along with the original question... Why would they want to keep Nicky out of the caverns?

Quest- Log #2

It had been more than thirty minutes since the last encounter of enemy zoids. Still nothing had come up. Nicky studied the map closely for any red dots to appear. All the time Blaze keep looking toward the back of the cavern. Something keep pulling his attention toward it.
"We can investigate that after the mission. We were instructed not to even go near these caverns." She had to remind him every time he tried to step forward. True, they were not allowed to venture into the darkness of the caverns. At this moment she was "slightly" breaking the rules, according to her.

"Gwaarrssss." Blaze hissed trying to sway his partner.
"No, we can't. We'll get into serious trouble."
"mmm"
"Blaze... Later..."
Blaze knew his winning cards and he knew when to use them. This was one of those times. Slowly he lifted his leg to just behind his hear than moved it slowly up and down as if scratching the air.
"Blaze..."
He moved in closer and the pace of his foot increased.
"Blaze."
Than the pace picked up again and he begun to scratch behind his ear. A soft clang noise echoed throughout the cavern halls as he did so.
"Blaze! someone will hear you!"
Blaze than moved on to faze two... the roll threat. He leaned to one side away from the wall.
"You Better not! Blaze Mickey White!"
Before he could move onto the next faze of his swaying plan a loud booming noise echoed back from deep within the cavern. Nicky paused and so did Blaze. A gun? There was someone else in the cavern. Blaze lowered his head so his pilot could jump out. Nicky reached for the side compartment in Blaze's cockpit and withdrew a pistol. As soon as the cockpit door was open she jumped to the ground.
"If anything happens you get out of here." She turned back to face Blaze as she finished strapping the pistol to her side. Her voice was serious, and Blaze knew not to question that tone. He did protest leaving his partner behind, but he nodded anyways. He knew if trouble DID in fact break out he would be here for her.
"Stay here and keep out of sight" Was Nick's last note before walking toward the back of the cavern.

The further back she went the more narrow it became. By this time it was too small for any zoid to fit into. Blaze would have never been able to move back here. Nicky creep through the shadows, how she was able to see in the dark was just as a mystery as to what was going on. As she drew further into the halls, voices begun to echo through the tunnels. She was not alone here...

Quest- Log #3

Nicky walked until she meet up with a "T" intersection. Along the hall mining light were strung up proving the hall continued for quite a long way. As the light went further they dimmed. Soldiers, republican to the looks of it, walked these halls. They must have gotten in! Nicky firmly gripped the pistol in her hand. They must have been there before she and Blaze had arrived. No matter, they would all go down.
Surely I'm not the only imperial here. Nicky thought as she took into count how many persons were in the hall at the time. Four. That shouldn't be too bad. Nicky leaned against the wall and checked her gun, making sure she had enough bullets. When she peeked around the corner again she caught sight of two more soldiers, they were carrying out the limp, and bloody, body of what looked to be an Imperial solider. That must have been the gunshot she and Blaze had heard. From this distance she couldn't tell who the poor soul was, but she was ready to avenge his death at any moment.
"Bloody republicans..." She whispered to herself as she leaned back against the wall. That was something she had to always hold her tug when around Kyrea, her battle partner, for she WAS a "bloody republican" and would not take lightly to the insult. Nicky shook her head. Somehow a smirk crossed her face as she thought about what her partner would have done if she heard that. No mind.

As soon as the guards vanished around the corner Nicky made her move. Quietly she crept along the wall following them at a good distance. Every few step she would look behind her to see if anyone was coming up from the rear. These solders seemed to be walking for a long while before they came to a large clearing. This room was different, it looked ancient. Runes and old statues lined the walls. Nicky couldn't make out what any of them meant, but that was not important now. She looked at the soldiers, her eyes followed every step they took.

They crossed the room and entered a small "secret" door in the back of the room. Two guards nodded to them as they passed by. Nicky's eyes widened as she saw the two guards more clearly... the were Imperial! but... they had just let in some republican soldiers. "Hell..." She whispered to herself as more questions gnawed at her mind.

Getting past these guys would be tricky. She couldn't just show herself to them. If they were in cahoots with the enemy than they were an enemy to her. She scanned the ground around her for any good sized pebbles, than she looked around the large opening. There were other "doors" around the area, none of witch were guarded. Quietly she scoped up a couple of rocks. She was very careful not to let the falling sand make any noise that would cause attention. Than she judged her own ability to toss objects. Most of the doors were far off and in no way would she be able to reach them. Before she could rule out that idea she spotted two doors on both sides of the one she was in. This was perfect!

Taking aim with both hands loaded with rocks she tossed them at both doors. Luckily the guards must have been half asleep, they didn't see from where those rocks were tossed and the didn't see the rocks. Nicky flattened against the wall as the guards split up to investigate each hall. success. A triumphant grin rolled across her lips as she dashed for the previously guarded door. When she reached it she swung against the wall gain. There were more voices coming from below. One of which was familiar.

Slowly she inched along the spiraling hallway, actually it was more like a stairway. As she drew closer to the opening she spotted the soldiers from before, along with may Imperial soldiers and... Sargent Richicard. Her mouth nearly dropped as she saw this familiar face among the mix of soldiers. Again she flattened against the wall. What was this moron doing here? She though as she peeked back into the room. The second time she looked around she caught something she had missed before... a large green pod in the far corner of the room. This room was small, only seven soldier, to include Richicard, could fit comfortably in this room. As the previous room, this one was lined with runes and statues. Another exit sat along the other wall just left of the one Nicky was currently in. This was a bit of a tight spot... not only literally. Each soldier was armed with automatics. That was seven soldier each armed.

Before Nicky had time to act the other six soldiers were ordered out of the room. They all exited through the other exit. Was this just a lucky day? That thought left her mind as quickly as it had entered. St. Richiard was looking at the door she was in. He waited until the soldiers were completely gone before laughing. His laugh, it was different, it stung Nicky's ears to hear. She could tell by the tone something was dreadfully wrong.

"You can come out now... Nick." His voice was mocking and cruel.

Nicky gripped her gun as she immerged from the doorway. The man had a nasty grin on his face. Nicky skin between her eyes wrinkled into a disgusted frown.

"What is going on here Sarg. Richicard? What are Republic soldiers doing here?" He nearly hissed at the man.

"Republic? OH, well... you see." He moved closer to the green pod. His tone of voice had become dangerous. Nicky couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. "They aren't. Well, most of them anyways. The real republican solders are willing to pay me information for a rather good price." He grinned obsessively over the green pod.

"Price?" She stepped closer to the pod

"this beauty here... he'll fetch a good price." Ricicard started to laugh maniacally. "Go ahead, touch it... you see what I mean?"

Nicky stepped forward as the obviously crazed man stepped back. She placed a soft hand on the glass. It was warm, like when a zoid is just about to be awakened. But this was no zoid...

Nicky had made a dread mistake by turning a back on the Imperial soldier. As nick looked into the green glowing glass Richicard pulled out his own pistol.

"NOW, if you would step away from the prize." He mocked at her.

Nicky slowly turned around adjusting her shades.
"You tricky fuc-"
"-SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Richicard drooled a bit as he silenced Nick.
"I though I told you to stay away from these caverns. Too bad for you. You were in for a promotion. I'll just have to tell the general you betrayed us. Working with that, that republican!"

"Kyrea is just a team mate and nothing more! I share no information and she doesn't ask. She HAS respect!" Nicky snapped.

The man fired the gun. The bulled bit hard into Nicky?s shoulder. She winced in pain. The sharp pain flowed through her arm, blood landed on the pod just behind her. It than ran down her arm, staining her cloths.
-guhh- she exhaled.

"You have been mingling with the enemy. The General is going to cry when he hears that YOU have been sharing secrets with your partner."

"I have not! The general trusts me. He gave me the OK to be on a team with her." She had to speak through her clenched teeth. They were so tight together she had a hard time getting anything out.

He fired again, this time grazing her left cheek. Blood spat out onto the pod, not as bad as the shoulder wound. The bullet left a circular hole in the glass. Liquid poured out onto Nicky. It was hot, very hot. Nicky jumped over to the side to avoid the liquid any further. Richicard shoot again landing her in her arm. Nicky cried out.

The pod begun to crack even further. The liquid flowed out of it like a waterfall breaking out of a dam until finally the glass burst! Richicard only drooled further seeing the dark red "zoid" fall to the floor. Nicky's blood mixed with the green liquid that now covered the floor. Nicky looked at the "zoid" on the floor. She seemed to have just as much interest in it as Richicard did.

The organid wobbled to its feet. It was like a new born baby, testing its strength. It looked around the room with its Lime green eyes. Its sharp claws on every part of its body twitched. Richicard move back showing some fear in the beast. He pointed his gun at it, this proved to be a very fatal mistake.

"Come to me my slave" He extended his fee arm as if wanting a half a hug. But the creature picked up on the man's fear and jumped at him. The last look in the man's eyes was plain fear. Nicky watched on as the creature leaped on the man's chest knocking him to the ground than tearing out his insides one by one. Richicard screamed in pain as he was being ripped apart, literally. Than there was silence.. The beast whirled around to face Nicky. Between the pain and this monster's intense stare she didn't know what to think. Had it just saved her?

It came closer with all the time not looking away from Nicky. Its lime green eyes started at her as if in judging. His stripped face showing no emotion. The blood from the dead St. just barely visible on his already blood red face. the blood gave a light red shine, which was the only clue it was there.

"Thank you?" She managed to ask again through her clenched teeth. the pain from the bullet wounds was great, and she was loosening blood fast. The creature lowered its head leaving only an inch gap between the two.

"Garrewra..." It hissed at her. The tone was not at all threatening. Maybe it was because Nicky showed no fear of the creature? Suddenly it whirled around. The sounds of may footsteps echoed through the halls. The creature looked back at Nicky. Something was about to happen...

Quest- Log #4

Nicky lead to the side so she might get a better picture of the door. The sounds grew louder with every passing second. There must have been many of them. Before she could say anything a sharp pain covered her arm. As she looked back she saw the red creature pulling on it, his teeth just barely sinking into it. He apparently had no idea of his own strength. Nicky growled in pain. Blood poured from her new wounds.

The organoid let go seeing as it was getting him nowhere. He lunged forward to try the other arm. Before he could grab onto it Nicky pull it back. For a quick ten seconds the organoid tried to bit onto her un-bloodied arm as Nicky keep trying to avoid its bite. All this movement was starting to make her drowsy. As Nicky started to slow her movements down the creature caught on that his method was not going to work. He looked back again, the shadows of many soldier begun to align the wall. Time was up.

The world grew very dark for Nicky. That dark red face she had been staring at only a moment ago became blurred than no more. She limply leaned back. Her muscles became relaxed and her head hung low. Her posture was most comparable to a rag doll that had just been cast against the wall. Blood still leaked from her torn arm.

The organoid stood on its toes. Its chest armor folded back revealing an open area within the organoid. There was an eerie glow emitting from the open area. Cords emerged from the chest wrapping themselves around the wounded pilot than pulled her in. As the armor locked shut it created a silent hissing noise. Soldiers poured into the room like a swift running river. The room echoed with the rattle of guns and heavy boots. The red organoid whirled around to face the new obstacle. As each soldier laid eyes on the mutilated Richicard their stomachs begun to turn. This was reflected in the soldiers, the ones not wearing face-covering helmets, faces. Many tried not to look, but it was hard not to miss the many organs strewed about the floor.

The organid hissed at all of them aggressively. They were a threat and all threats must be dealt with as soon as possible. With great speed the organoid leapt forward. Some solders begun to fire at it, but it was too fast for their aim. It opened its maw revealing all of its razor teeth. As the organoid jumped about them, knocking some over, they had begun to shoot in a panic striking some of their own. The organoid bit and ripped at many of the solders quickly never staying in the same area for more than a second.

When the organoid felt satisfied with what he had done he aimed for the door. The jets on his hack flared on as he bolted for the door. This singed and ignited the solders that were unfortunate enough to be directly behind and to the side of the aggressive organoid. It bolted down the halls picking up on the nearest exit.

Quest- Log #5

Blaze sat just outside the narrow passage. His metallic chin lay on the rocky ground facing the small passage. It had been a while since his pilot had gone deep inside the cavern and since than he had heard several gunshots. Blaze wished he could go in himself to aid his friend.

The red organoid rushed passed the concerned zoid the shine of his boosters fading off as he dashed for the exit. Blaze picked up on it immediately. He knew the feeling of his pilot and that feeling just flown by, literally. It didn't take long for Blaze to catch up with the fleeing organoid, not with his speed. The sun was still not due to rise for another few hours, so they were blessed still with the cover of night.

Neither Blaze nor the organoid had any idea where they were running to, they were just running and avoiding any human/ zoids. The danger of the geysers vanished behind and was replaced rapidly with soft sand than trees and ferns as they sped forward. As the organoid begun to feel safe with their location he slowed down, followed by Blaze, and came to a halt. The forest was dark. The moon's light just barely reaching the ferns that lay about the bottom. The organoid came to a complete stop next to a large red wood with Blaze not too far behind. The chest plate opened as it did before only this time the empty space was occupied with the limp body of Nick. Slowly he let her out on to the ferns that lay around the large tree.

As Nicky's eyes slowly opened she caught sight of a completely different setting. It was like she had warped from one area to another. But one thing was the same, the pain in her arm and cheek was still stabbing at her. She groaned. "hell..s going... on here?..."
The organoid moved in close to Nick's head, only two inches away from making contact.
"you.... your that.."

"grawssss...." He hissed in response to her.
Again this organoid saved her life, why he did it was just as a mystery as the creature itself.
"Thank you... again"

"grawr"
"Garsss?" Blaze hissed with a not to pleasant question.
Nicky groaned again.
"Well, this is all great... now... we don't have a base to return to. No doubt news of my "betrayal" has reached the general... damn Richi...."
The organoid backed up giving more distance between the two.

"Gwarss." He hissed again.
Nicky lifted her head, having some trouble doing so, to get a look at her arm. It was had to tell it was even there in the dark. It was covered in blood, her own, from shoulder to hand and nearly the tips of her fingers.
"Shi-"

"-graw?"
Nicky let her head rest back on the ferns. This was just perfect! Her arm looked like it got in a fight with a blender and she had no place to go to properly treat it. Now she was considered rouge, no longer a soldier of the Imperial military. Her betrayal will have them coming after her for sure...
She looked over to the organoid. This thing had saved her life twice and just may be the key to her survival.
"Kagi... " She whispered to it, as talking became more difficult. He apparently had no owner and wished to stick with her. So he needed a name and what better name than Kagi?

Quest- Log #6 -

A series of loud crashing noises echoed through the forest. Zoids! There sounded to be about three of them. Nicky rolled her head to the side. They were inclosing on her position and fast.
"Not now..." Nicky groaned.
From the sound of the starting crashes there was a large zoid with two smaller ones.

Kagi looked up an aggravated growl emitted from his metallic throat. His shining eyes focused just south of their position. Slowly, and not looking away from the direction, he moved in front of Nick.

Maybe they will just pass on by? Maybe they won't see them? Kagi didn't think so. The noise came to a sudden halt followed by footsteps, they were not far off...

"This way, I'm sure the signal was from here!" Barked a familiar voice.

It was the general. Not just any general! Her general! What did he mean by signal? Than it hit her like a cold brick of ice, the "Fail Safe"! Blaze had one. The "Fail Safe" was an invention used widely in the Imperial military to prevent captured or escaped zoids from getting far. It was implanted in a random area within a zoid to prevent discovery. Most zoids in Nicky's squad had the "Fail Safe". How it worked was strictly confidential. As Nick lifted her head for a look she caught sight of her former general. His tall figure stood with two other soldiers... All of them focused on Kagi with eyes that resembled Richicard before his graphical death.

"... you.. you are here by under arrest for the betrayal of the Empire and the murder of Sargent Richicard." The soldier to the left skipped the first part due to his first glimpse of the organoid.

"You are here by relieved of the Blade GunSniper and the Organid, in which you stole from the Empire." The one on the other side finished.

Nicky let her head fall back. It was hard to keep it lifted for very long. "I... Didn't steal... or kill... anything..." She gasped.

"We have video confirmation of this, I'm disappointed in you. We had high hopes." The general finally spoke. His deep voice struck Nick like a dagger to the chest. His brown eyes, hidden under his gray bushy brows, became cold. He aimed his handgun at Nicky. The other soldiers were to busy gawking over Kagi to take his lead.
"The punishment meant for your-" He was swiftly interrupted by the angered Kagi who leapt at him maw open wide.

Kagi kicked the soldier to his right to the ground. After the soldier hit the ground Kagi planted his razor claws into his chest. The soldier cried out in pain. As Kagi kicked the soldier he sank his teeth into the General. The general shot blankly in response to his oncoming demise. The other soldier took off for his zoid as Kagi ripped into both General and soldier. Unfortunately Kagi paid him no mind as he was busy at the moment.

The wild bullet just barely missed the top of Nicky's golden head than planted into the red wood behind her. As she looked up to actually see what was going on she caught sight of the dead soldier and the struggle between the general and Kagi. He, the general, did all in his power to stop the organoid. Constantly he hit it with the end of his gun in hopes it would let go. With a slight flick of the Organoids head the arm was completely detached! The general chucked his gun away in a state of pain and panic.

From there on it was as if the world had slowed down. Every movement in slow motion. The gun landed slightly out of reach of Nick's "good" arm. The general falling to the ground as the organid moved on to rip at his legs... Nicky reached as far as she could, reaching for the gun. It seemed the more she tried the more further away her hand scooted it. With a last effort she grabbed for the gun. The pain in her other arm felt as if it was on fire. For the moment she ignored it, grunting as she carried out her last mission. The general stared wide eyed at her... that was the last look he gave anyone. With a small struggle she pulled the trigger. A boom so loud to her that she was sure it could be heard around the world!
The bullet found its way through the face of her once leader..

The organoid continued to tear him apart out of spite.

Nicky cried out as she leaned to her side. Her torn arm facing the moon. Tears from the pain flowed from her eyes as the blood did her arm.

"GARRR! GWAR!" Blaze alerted them that the soldier was still there and that he was picking up a distress signal. The other soldier had completely sealed her fate with the Empire, all ties had been undone.. The survior of the organids rage fled in a pannic, taking the two pilotless zoids with him.

As soon as Kagi was satisfied with the mess that once was human he returned to the side of his pilot.

Blaze looked down at his friend, she was in bad shape. Taking action he speed off through the forest. Before Nicky could stop him he was off. The organoid sat next to her. He seemed pleased at the smell of all the blood in the air. It was his personal flag of victory!

Quest- Log #7 -

Nicky stared blankly at the ground ahead of her. It was nothing but a blur of dark green and blue light to her real eye. A struggled smile stretched the corners of her mouth upward as a red blur entered the mixture. That must have been Kagi. He was so violent, but he had saved her life twice that night. Maybe that is what these "Organoids" do? If she does make it through this she would have to remember that when going in public areas. This one seemed to have a strange effect on people, like Pirceicard and the General's two men... She paused in her thoughts. The General...

Her stomach felt like a big rock in her gut. The General, no, HER general was dead by her own hands. The one who took care of her when Blaze White died... and she shot him. But there was no choice! He was going to turn her in and take Blaze and Kagi away! Now the smile faded from her cold face as this thought gnawed at her mind.

A cold nose pressed against her face, constantly nudging her as if it expected her to move. Kagi was kind, but not very bright. Nicky groaned as the words "I'm ok" just didn't want to leave her throat.

"Gwar!" Kagi growled at her demanding she get up.
Well, this was no fun. His new owner wouldn't even look at what he did. All those attackers to pieces! It was a trophy and she wouldn't even look. The other zoid ran away, but I'm still here! Look, see what I did! Kagi's thoughts urged him to nudge the cold pilot's face even more. He was determined to get her to look.

Nick's head moved limply with every push of the red organoid's nose. He was persistent! Oh Blaze where did you get to... it's almost morning. Another dark though entered her mind... her Medication... if she didn't have that in the morning than things will only get worse. But everything was in Blaze's cockpit and Blaze took off.

"Grrra" He cooed.
Finally he was beginning to realize that his pilot couldn't move. He shifted his head for any signs of that big zoid. None. Disappointed, he looked back at the mangled bodies than at Nick. With a metallic sigh he lay down next to her, forming his body around her back. His large head rest on her wounded arm.

Nick wanted to scream at the feel of Kagi's head on her arm. It hurt much worse now. She couldn?t say anything; do any thing about the Organoid. For now she would have to cope with it resting on her arm.

There was something else she was forgetting. Maybe it didn't matter. If it didn't stick in her mind than it couldn't have mattered...
She stared back at the blurry green and blue figures ahead of her...

Quest- Log #8 -

Again there was a nudging on Nick's arm. Kagi must be at it again. The sun was starting to rise up in the east.
"What now?" She groaned.

"Gwar... Gra rrrrawar!" Kagi seemed to be excited about something, really excited. With each nudge he pushed harder and harder until he got Nick's full attention.

Nicky looked back at the organoid with quite a struggle, her arm was torn to shreds still. Better wrap that up. Why she just NOW thought of it? Who knows, she wasn't thinking to begin with.
"Hey, Kagi...Help me rip a piece off my coat." She struggled with every word.
She tried to scoot her good hand under herself for a boost up but it was a failure. Nicky growled as she kept failing her attempt to get back up.

Kagi moved to Nick's other side and used his nose as a prop. He pushed up slowly so that he could prop her against the tree again.
"Gwar rawr graa grag."
Something was going on; they couldn't stay here much longer.

Nick's Journal- Page 1

"Today started out normal for me. Running around, and trying to keep a low profile. I had spent the previous night in a small village near the gorge. The people there were friendly and, luckily, they were also oblivious to the war. Everyone seemed to be amazed by Kagi. I wouldn't have taken him with me, but he refuses to leave my side. At least I can keep him under control... as long as things don't get too bad. They did not know the empire from the republic. I'm guessing soldiers don't come here often, and if they do it is because they are wanting to get away. That is just how I feel about it. With a village like this I had the luxury of staying until about 7am. I ate breakfast in the nice inn I was staying in and left. Course I left a nice tip for their hospitality.
After that I headed north. It made me happy to see grass and flowers again. The desert was just getting old. I'm sure Blaze was tired of it as well. Kagi didn't know the difference. Since Kagi had been so good in the village I let him walk around with me in the grass. I really don't think he was interested. Actually, he was more amused with killing the bugs and other little things the popped up.

List of things Kagi killed on the walk:
-Lots of crickets
-even more beetles
-every bee in sight
-six birds
-ten squirrls ( That's what they get for mocking him)
-a worm
-three gofers. (It was actually amusing watching him dig the holes to get to those suckers.)

After we got back to the cockpit I speed off to an even more remote area full of wild flowers. That's when it all changed. I was there for about two hours, minding my own busyness when a damn assain from the imperial forces shows up and asks me if I killed the general. Yes, I did... for the most part. Little pup ought to know her place. No matter what I did she kept pestering me and pestering me. ********, I was about to blow her brains out. Lucky for her someone know as "The Judge" showed up. I don't know why, but I shoved the pup in Blaze's cockpit and took off. Heh, what was I thinking. Now I'm stuck with this little pup and have yet to get rid of her. Kagi seems to despise her with every ounce of his being. He tried to kill her a few times. They seem to go both ways... it's like they are competing for my attention. Weird. Kagi has that affect on people.
After a bit, though, she didn't seem too bad. Course, as soon as I started to get used other she goes and tries to kill herself to prove a point. DAMN RIGHT THAT'S AFFECTIVE! So I shot her in the shoulder. Hopefully she now knows that I am not one to throw around empty threats. Something tells me I have a lot of work with this one.
That was when we were in that creepy ghost town hanger. That place gave me the chills. Latter we figured out that all the town’s inhabitants were still in there, roting and food for the maggots. Yeah, red flag there. We left not long after discovering that.
Now we're on the run and there is no certain path for us. Looks like another night sleeping in Blaze's cockpit... Puppy can sleep outside. I'm sure Kagi would like that... HA! "
