not to flame [this is constructive feed back XD]
this art work need to get more 3-d, unless u are trying to do egyptian library art.
also you should try to make the proportions to correct size

Because every time I try to do shadowing, it turns out rather horribly.

Added: Rendition of my "ideal" mage outfit. It's not based on anybody in particular, but rather a result of me messing around with the avatar simulator. I know the proportions are stilla bit off; I think I'm going to take another whack at it after I do some other, non-magey stuff.
