Physical Description: healthily slim, but not too skinny or to fat. his lack of body girth is

not to be mistaken for a lack of strength though, for his muscles are toned. his skin of Irish

decent is as most Irish folk are: Pale. he remarkably has no visible freckles on the skin he

leaves exposed (face, fore-arms.) his canine teeth are naturally sharp, and he likes them that

way.
Clothing: he wears a white t-shirt and semi-loose blue jeans (loose enough to give him

freedom of movement, but not loose enough for a Zed to restrain him with.). over his T-shirt

is an unzipped black leather jacket with the sleeves rolled up to the crook of his elbows. on

the back of the jacket is the Seattle Mariner's logo. he wears red and white sneakers, and

has red fingerless biker gloves that help him grip his bat better. he also wears a Mariners

Background: Matthias Lived most of his life in Mount Vernon, Washington. he loved

everything there, and was a big fan of the Mariners. he didn't know a lot of the lingo (and if he

did, he wouldn't have used it anyways), but the Seattle Mariners always had a loyal fan

rooting for them when they went to play. he started playing baseball with his friends, but only

for fun. he never wanted to play professionally. he made so many long hits that his friends

gave him the nickname "The Slugger." and kept calling him that all throughout high school.

he once held a job, but was fired for reasons unclear to him.he is still "Between Jobs", and

can't figure out the next job he wants. he did scrounge up enough money to move to

Minnesota and get a fairly decent apartment...that he's late on payments for. he's just

waiting for his moment to shine in this crazy world.
Personality: Happy-Go-Lucky, Loyal, and willing to do anything for his comrades.

That's right. You get this for FREE. Consequently, it sucks so much that most people's first

post involves them throwing it away. However, it is unbreakable, believe it or not, and it will

almost always turn up somewhere if you get rid of it. (Meaning you can find it on ANY search

roll, should you want it, unless you roll a 1, in which case you're screwed.)

Description: A double-barrel shotgun, capable of decimating a target at close range. If you

save your shells (police your brass), you can later reload them if you locate a reloader and

the proper materials, making it an invaluable tool due to this ease of locating ammunition.

Damage: 10-100 + DEX mod + 1-2 per ten in ranged weapons + 2-4 in shotguns

Background: She was born in Ely, and raised there. She was raised by an average family that participated in the SCA more often than any other extra-curricular activities, and she quickly became infatuated with the bow when she proved to have a natural affinity to it. Her favorite persona was an archer who lived alone in the wild, and at the age of eighteen, she moved out of her parents' house, to live in the forest near Ely, and she's lived there for over eight years, only returning to town to attend the SCA events, where she trades goods for money so that she can purchase supplies.
Personality: Fayt is withdrawn, growing slightly more reclusive with each year she spends in the wild, this reclusive nature is exacerbated by people who judge her for her lifestyle, and she is only ever accepted by her fellow SCA members, who seem to be used to such eccentricities.

Description: A bow with a high draw strength and a high-end let-off. This can allow the user to more comfortably hold a very high draw strength, and allows for more powerful bows that are more accurate, due to the ease with which they can be held at the ready.
In-Game Stats: 70 HP, but it explodes upon 'death', dealing 1-20 damage to all near. This is due to the massive tension in the bow due to its design.
Damage: 1-15 + 1/2 STR mod + 1/2 DEX mod + 1-2 per ten in ranged weapons + 2-4 per ten in bows
Requirements: 25 STR, 20 DEX
Special: An arrow of greater quality than wooden must be fired. Should a wooden arrow be fired, it has a 5 in twenty chance to shatter, dealing only 1-5 damage to a target within melee range.
Craft DC: 150, and an engineer's table, two vices, two pulleys and proper composite material-handling tools are required.

Roll a 1d20/2 in addition to your craft check, to determine how many you make.

can be used to counter-attack: by rolling an attack against your opponent, and beating it, you can stop their melee attack as if by a normal block, however, the spear takes no damage if your roll was above a natural 5, and you inflict damage normally, while taking none yourself. If the spear breaks, you still deal damage, but you receive it as well.

Hair: shoulder-length, smooth, straight black, with no bangs. Sports a thin fu man chu, also black, which hangs to his chest, along with a medium-length, tapered beard.
Eyes: soft, gentle, and chocolate brown.
Physical Description: Short, fit, and young for his age, Hayate hardly looks thirty, let alone almost fifty years old. His rigid training schedule has kept him young, along with his diet. He has no wrinkles outside of his wrinkles from a soft smile that almost constantly graces his features. His eyelids are almost always slightly drooped, but only in a calm, patient manner. He has the appearance of a man that cannot be surprised, and has calm acceptance of everything the world throws at him, regardless of his personal opinions, should he have any.
Clothing: Hayate wears a black kung fu suit with white trim, two dragons embroidered on the back, forming a yin-yang symbol, his martial arts shoes also black with white trim.
Background: Hayate was born in Japan, although even he cannot remember the village name. He was shipped off to a tai chi school, which was more of a monastery than a school. He was trained in wu tai chi and chen tai chi, the most aggressive forms of tai chi quan, with wu specializing in jumps and flourishing movements, including joint locks, pressure point locks, and breaks, while chen focused on 'soft-hard' martial arts, with soft motions to avoid or deflect blows, and vicious striking to repay the attack.

While meditating, Hayate had a vision of a large black dragon, symbolizing a massive amount of yin energy in the West. He interpreted this as his mission, and immigrated to America to help restore balance. He maintains a yogi-like existence, a virtual nomad, begging for food and following his way. He befriended Fayt a while back, and she took to him rather well, accepting his pursuit of balance in all things, as she pursued balance in her ecosystem. Hayate often finds himself the center of conflict, though he doesn't attempt to avoid it. He stresses neutrality in his combat, as often avoiding as striking, waiting for the perfect opportunity to counterattack. He seeks out people who cause yin, and seeks to neutralize them, either with speech or with action... Most commonly the latter. However, this does not violate his way, as the monastery taught him several things, but the two most important were 1.) Combat is the greatest test of one's abilities, and 2.) There is no experience as satisfying as a proper cup of tea.
Personality: Hayate is accepting and wise. He often offers insight on anything that crops up, and stresses a proper balance of yin and yang in all things, especially in one's spirit. He often seeks out yin souls and 'purifies' them with combat, attempting to drive them to yang actions once they realize that their actions are wrong.
Other: Hayate is not completely sure that he could survive without a daily cup of tea. It is his only vice.

Technique Name: Flowing Stone style
Description of Jutsu: The user has specialized in a style of martial combat that allows him to focus his energy into a single strike, waiting, dodging and deflecting his opponent's attacks until spotting the perfect opening, and exploiting it. This combat style stresses the importance of both yin and yang, requiring the user to remain neutral, but allowing them to focus their ki unrestricted.

Ap Cost: 2 per round, plus 2 per additional turn allowed (at level 6, it will consume 4 points per round, lvl 11: 6 points)
Damage: The user gets only one attack a round, but for each normal turn they would have had after that first strike, they contribute half the damage to the strike on top of doubling the original strike's damage. +WIS MOD to that total
Requirements: 1 ki control, 20 WIS, 13 DEX
Training: 5 days
Special: The user gains the aforementioned damage bonus, plus gains a bonus to dodge bonus equal to his sleight of hand skill, which is also added to his attack bonus for his single attack. The user can also use a tumble check to dodge once per turn without using his action for the round.

This technique begins powerfully, but the drop-off at later levels can be considerable.

Description: An ancient weapon from old china, the jian is still used today in wu style taichi, it is often not your strength that determines your skill, but instead your finesse

Requirements: none
Special: with a natural 20, tendons can be severed. This will reduce all rolls by the opponent by 5, until the tendon is repaired
