The Yoshiko family is a family that consists of a single mother, Emiko, and her two daughters, Usagi and Mitsukai. Emiko and her husband recently divorced and so the family moved to Nirvani.

Her father was half japanese and her mother American, and so the couple decided on japanese names for their children. Being, the youngest of the four children in the household Emiko was spoiled just a bit as a child. Even so, her childhood was fairly normal.
xoxoShe finished school with pretty decent grades and then left her home town to go to college. It was while she was in her second year of college that she met Satoshi, her future husband. Like her father, he was half japanese and there was just something about him that she liked (Maybe it had to do with that psychological theory that women are attracted to men who remind them of their father's and men are attracted to women who remind them of their mothers, but maybe not.) The two began dating and they got married after finishing their fourth year of college and while Emiko tried to find a job her then husband pursued his studies in hope to become a doctor.
xoxoA few years later, Emiko gave birth to her first child, Usagi. The baby brought a new kind of happiness to Emiko and her husband. Four years later Emiko had another child, a baby boy who was named Katsu. Emiko had what seemed to be an ideal family and was a very good mother to her children. Her next child wasn't born until she was thirty-four, making a bit of an age gap between her oldest and youngest child. The latest child was a girl, who was named Mitsukai. The family continued to seem ideal for a few more years until there seemed to be some growing distance between Emiko and her husband. This eventually led to the couple's divorce, something that had upset Emiko but she knew she had to be strong for her children. She let her two older children decide who they wanted to live with after the divorce, and Usagi decided to accompany her to Nirvani while her son stayed with her ex-husband. ℓıĸεs → xoxo❥ Her children

She was born and raised in the same little town that her mother was and she lived a bit of a sheltered life with her parents and siblings. She had always been a bit shy and even as a child she tried to cover it up by forcing herself to to be outgoing. She also found herself drawn to other odd people, it was easier for her to be the odd duck she was around them and helped her shyness to melt away.
xoxo Of course, as she grew older neither her weirdness or her shyness helped her making friends, despite the fact that she was friendly. In middle school she was often made fun of for various reasons and she began drifting apart from many of her friends. She did end up making some new friends though still not very many and by the time she was in high school most of her other classmates began to mature and she wasn't made fun of as often. A few years later her parents divorced and she moved to Nirvani with her mother and younger sister.
xoxo Usagi stayed in Nirvani for a little over a year and graduated from the local school. She then returned to her hometown to attend college and ended up living with her father and brother. She wasn't sure what she wanted to study but she later decided she wanted to go to law school and study family law. Despite this plan she didn't major in pre-law or anything of that sort. That would be too expected, too mainstream. Instead she opted for a different major. During her breaks she comes to visit her mother and sister in Nirvani. ℓıĸεs → xoxo❥ Animals
