Verity broke the bubble, lunging forward at the first shadow... until everything dissolved into white. She blinked into Yuki's scared blue eyes.
"What...?""Ger'roff me," declared Yuki, muffled by Verity's fur. Blinking, Verity obliged.
"Wha... what happened to those shadows?" Yuki stared at her, then her attention was diverted by Arceus. All three members of the team gasped.
"Is... is that really..." Verity stammered. Yuki nodded, speechless. Yuki and Verity's eyes were fixed on Arceus, but Sara's eyes wandered to the now normally colored Raichu. She blinked. He looked very different now. He looked serious, but not evil anymore. Then they were back at the guild, and Meiso approached.
Meiso he said, quiet concern in his eyes. Verity shook her head, laughing a little. Yuki did the same, answering quietly,
"Let's just say that the afterlife is not pleasant for those who go to Hell..." Meiso looked confused, but after a short while shrugged.
"You may tell me later. Who is that?" he said, indicating Jasper, who was staring at one paw. Verity, Sara and Yuki stared in shock at him.
"He... he came back with us..." Meiso glanced at them all.
"Again, tell me later. Now for what I consider to be the most important and surprising. What is that?" he asked, now pointing to a egg at their feet. Verity, Yuki and Sara all jumped as one. A white egg with red and blue triangles sat in front of them.
"What... what Pokemon's pattern does that look like...?" asked Verity in shock.
"More importantly. How did you get it?" asked Meiso patiently.
"Uhhh...""I can see you do not know. We shall ponder this later, for now, I believe that you three need some rest. You look... how would you say it... off. You look off. Let us go, and we will ponder the events of today once we are in our team room." said Meiso, picking up the egg gently and carrying it. The other members of the team followed him, blinking at each other in confusion.
