*insert map* The hills are an inbetween place. Young valley falcons seeking to Journey may leave the valley and come here, looking for others to fly with them. Escaped aviary falcons also end up in the hills, although they may eventually find their way to the valley or partner up with Journeying falcons. Falconers will come to the hills to hunt with their falcons (which may be why so many of the escapes take place here.)
The hills are also home to many predators and murders of crows that will harrass a lone falcon. There is a small cast of rougue falcons who inhabit the hills. They are constantly on the move and do not consist of any breeding pairs. Many of these are falcons who have either escaped, been chased out of the Valley or have Journeyed and fallen. Occasionally, falcons will become separated from the groups and be caught by falconers and taken back to the aviary.

Hills Cast Hills falcons are hardened warriors. Of all the falcons they are the toughest and usually the meanest. Leadership is almost constantly changing as the old leaders grow old or are injured/killed. These falcons will even attack eagles, crows, and other large predators. To be chased out of the Hill Cast is almost certain death.Cast Leader: Maugre Second in Command: none Bard:

Maugre swooped down over the barren landscape, looking for prey. It wasn't that he was particularly hungry at the moment, but he was bored. He wasn't going to kill it if he found some, just chase it around for a bit.
At a time long past, he would have been flying with purpose, looking for Yggdrasil. Then, he has found it, and from its heights he had plumeted when he tried to stop and rest in its branches. He knew better now. It couldn't be reached. Not by him.
One by one, his cast had flown and perished. He alone lived and he alone had escaped back into the hill lands. Now, with no cast to lead, he was bored and hunting.

Katy let Kabu out to stretch his wings, the first skill they were going to work on when he came back would be speed. however, she was going to let him have fun for awhile.
Kabu flew alone and free, leaving his scapel and glsses back with his flaconer. Her circled high into the air, keeping a sharp eye out for any crows or eagles. Slowly he let his mind drift onto to Yggdrasil. Why had so many failed to reach it's long wanted branches?
He knew better than to try and climb it's massive heights now, he was too inexperienced. He may have been an adult, but there wasn't a close enough bond between him and Katy yet to fly that high. He spotted another creature flying in the air, he tensed up.
It was no enemy, but Maugre instead. Kabu flapped his wings hard, using his already heightened speed to catch up. He let out a short warning trill, before flying alongside him.

((All right, just so you know, this is supposed to be a realtime RP. A change in threads is only a change in settings. Your characters cannot exist in two places at once. As long as at some point, you leave the Aviary thread to go fly Kabu before you leave this thread, the timelines should converge and everything will be okke, but try not to create parrallel universes in the future.
Also, humans cannot go to Eryri. The entire idea is that ancient falcons left Eryri and gave themselves to serving humans. That's why aviary falcons must escape before they can journey.
I am going to put this in the General Information thread.))
