 Hyde was ruff on the little kitty as he got him ready to go home. The yena threw the young thing out of his cage and slapped the heavy chains on him. Zuzubai was frightened by the whole thing he still didn't know if Chione had managed to buy him. He was so worried that he might be thrown into a fighting ring because of his body's build. Zuzu was no fighter, he just couldn't he rather run the other way and face the punishment of his master.
"Please oh please." The little kitty whispered over and over as Hyde shoved him forwards to go meet his new owner. His body shivered from fear, but he kept moving forwards. Zuzu closed his eyes not wanting to face his knew owner if it wasn't the sweet miss he had met just the other day. Would the gods smile or frown on him? He asked himself as he slowly opened his eyes.

"I told you not to be rough with him you stupid hyena! I should pay you HALF of what I really owe you!" She snarled at Hyde who took his stones and scampered off. The hound had a few choice words she used about her. Then she looked down to the poor little creature that had been dragged before him. He looked positively terrified. Oh this wasn't how she wanted to start her relation with her new pet. She would have to come back with Anpu on another day to lay into that smelly b*****d.
"My poor baby. What has that horrible beast done to you!"
She lightly licked the tip of one of his ears. "You may open your eyes my dear. Nobody is going to hurt you. Your my little pet now."
She dug into he pockets and pulled out some cat treats laying one down on the ground infront of herself. "I promise your safe now little dear." Come over and eat your fill.

Zuzubai's ears twitched hearing a familiar voice he felt a lick on the tip of his ear and his eyes opened. His eyes started to swell with tears he was so happy Chione was able to buy him. Zuzu knew he was safe now, he was one of the lucky kitties. "I'm so happy miss!Thank you for buying me "
Zuzu headed for the treats and ate them up quickly, Hyde was not the best at keeping his stock fed. When he was done he moved closer to his knew mistress he so wanted to rub against her legs to show his gratitude to her but he wasn't sure what the rules were. "I can not wait to learn from you or do what ever you need done, miss! I'll be worth every stone and more!!" Zuzubai kneaded the ground with his paws looking excited now instead of frightened.

Chione was over joyed. Oh! Her first pet and her first slave that really belonged to HER and not her parents. This was surely the best day of her life next to meeting her loving husband Anpu.
"Oh you poor little creature." She watched the thin kitty gobble up the treats at her feet. "Do you ever get fed here?" She took out another bag of her own food that she had bought from the market and laid it in front of the cat. Anpu would have scolded her for feeding the kitten hound food but he wasn't there; and well she didn't need the salmon that badly, did she.
"Eat up kitten and gather your strength back- oh and don't tell my mate about the food." She glanced down to the salmon being obvious that it was CLEARLY not cat food. "He wouldn't be too happy." She gave a short giggle.

"I'm not poor miss not now." Zuzu chimed at Choine despite his dirt coat and his starving belly he felt like a rich king at this moment. "Mr.Hyde feeds us yes miss all a kitty deserves." Zuzu eyed the hyena that still lurked towards the store front. Mentally he added ~All that the hyena thinks kitties deserve anyways.~
His eyes went wide examining the salmon, never had he seen something like this laid before him. In his past it was his mother's milk to kitty food. He had been born a slave and worked as a laborer in a construction company till the company lost all its possessions do to the master hounds gambling problem. That's when he found himself in Hyde's possession, but even this seems a step up from the back breaking labor he endured before, but now wait a twist of fate. This kind kind soul of a hound had bought him and was being so caring? What made him better than the other kitties to get such treatment? His nose trailed the salmon before he slowly took his first bite. Zuzu suddenly did a little happy prance it was delicious!!! Zuzu proceeded to gobble the rest up licking the ground just to make sure every little golden taste was gotten up.
"That was incredible!! And of course of course, our secret no matter what mistress!! What was it if I may ask? Never in all my life have I tasted such a thing......well its not like Ive tasted much at all, but cat food and my mother's milk." Zuzu chuckled a little at himself. "Thank you for the food miss, I feel like a just born kitten!"

"That my love was salmon fished fresh out of the Giza rivers." She had gone there in her travels and saved up some to eat on her journeys selling flowers. "It's much better fresh from the water; but it's still quite wonderful salted after a few days." She was probably one of the strange hounds that enjoyed fish as much as cats. But they provided other uses like fertilizer for flowers- not that it made the garden smell good. Rotted flesh was a naturally poor choice for anything you planned on leaving out in the desert sun. She might have to scratch that off her list of things she's use in her own garden. Anpu would not be pleased with the smell of dead fish- then again her husband DID like dead things. Perhaps she would sample it in one part to see if he noticed it.
"One day I shall take you to Giza and you shall try it fresh! I'll even let you catch your own if you desire!"

"Salmon." Zuzubai repeated adding the word to his vocabulary, he had heard Giza before but never of salmon. He would class it as his favorite thing to eat! Oh how exciting having a favorite something! "If it's better fresh it must be indescribable for I am at a loss for words at how wonderful this taste!" Zuzu cooed giving Chione and adoring look again.
"Oh I would like that miss. But I fear I may drown Ive never been near water save to make bricks and to drink of course." He smiled almost fake way. He was ashamed to admit his only skills where lifting and pulling heavy things as a group and putting mud and straw together to make bricks. Well and tolerating the sting of a whip his hide was so thick not a scare had be left on him.

"I could teach you. Us hounds are natural swimmers. Plus not all rivers with fish are deep enough to drown in. Some only go up to ones knees. So as long as you can stand- you can fish." She thought about it. "Though I'm not sure if salmon are in rivers or in shallow bays. I only know about flowers. But anything thats a fish should taste good regardless of where you get it. I've never found one bad fish myself."
"I hate to ask- but what did that sleazy hyena feed you poor babies?" She had half a mind to go save more from the squaller they were in; but she still wasn't sure how Anpu would take to ONE house pet. Plus she knew they wouldn't have enough room for more then that.

"I would like that miss." Zuzu's head hung a little as he paws the ground. He was ashamed that he did not have more skills to offer to his new mistress seemed she was offering much more to him it shouldn't be that way right? "You have so much to offer to me... What can I do for you miss? I want to serve you miss I do." Zuzu said with a bow.
"We call it glop cause of the sound it makes.....its edible...." Zuzu was obviously the type of cat who would cover for any master even if he was beatin close to death.

She stuck out her tongue as the word sounded as unappealing as it probably tasted. "No more of that for you then." She shook her head confidently. "Even if my husband dosen't feed you poor slaves salmon every night- since he is a taxidermist you often get some of the choosiest meat as he really finds it no use to himself. Plus he dose spend a great deal of stones on fresh...ish fish." It was one of those things that Chione had insisted along with the entrails from the animals they were at least allowed to eat fish; a cats favorite food.
"Just try and stay out of Anpu's way. And if you do happen to bump into him- make sure you have coffee on you. It keeps the cats out of trouble and seams to soothe him. But you don't have to worry. He's a loving owner too!" And she'd be sure to make sure he stayed that way.

"Its not to bad miss, its food. Things could have been worse for me." Zuzu said with a smile he meant it too, he rather eat glop then starve. "Really so we get to eat meat? Not glop?" Grins ear to ear very excited by this thought.
"Yes ma'am...hmmm coffee coffee I will have to figure out how to get some for him then. " Zuzu said with a chuckle he could tell he was really going to enjoy his new life. "What will be my job miss? Or am I a generally worker? I'm strong and do not give up easily, but my biggest downside.....is I'm not very skilled...I've only done pulling and pushing heavy stuff and making bricks the brick thing I mentioned before though didn't I...." Zuzubai eyed his new mistress in a curious way for a moment. This all felt so weird to him, his new mistress was everything he was taught a hound would never be. She was also letting him speak freely never had he met a hound that seemed to care what he had to say. Wasn't Zuzu worthless? He felt both confused and excited by the whole deal. It also made him feel a little uneasy he wasn't sure where the line was or if there was one, but how would he ask her or would she tell him on the way home?

"It's really not to difficult to get. The entire kitchen is stocked with his favor coffee. It's more that you have to learn how to make it. Again not really to hard. All you have to do is use the french press...which all in all is a little muscle. You don't even need to add anything. Just pour and your done. But I warn you- it really dose smell horrible without anything added to it. It might take some getting used too. But if you learn how to make it just right Anpu will like you no matter what you do. As I said he's pretty easy going."
She nodded her head at his question about meat. "Yes real and fresh cut daily!" Sure innards weren't HER choice for food. But the cats seamed to like the fresh liver and kidneys cut daily. Frankly she heard it was a rare treat in someplaces. No she would stick with her fish and her prime meat. Innards were not her idea of a good time. Not at all. "As for your job little one...all I ask is you help me with my garden from time to time. It's my pride and joy and I would like it to be yours too- if you wish."
