Granted, he has no freakin' idea what he's talking about, but I can tell from his posts, there is no way you're going to get him to concede that paintball is a sport. He might admit that he got a few facts mixed up, but that's about it.
Much as I love paintball, I'm not going to waste my breath on someone so willfully ignorant. I'd suggest you just write him off and let it go. It's not worth getting angry over.

Enchanted Dreamer I don't think its a sport. So you have coaches and tournaments and all that stuff for paintball? Like Tamahome Starlite said. Its a hobby. Not a sport. I'm pretty sure there isn't leagues for Paintballing. Lol, thats the funniest quote ive seen thus far... ever heard of the NPPL?!? LOL

If there was a way to cause physical pain through a PC I would do it. People who critisize with out understanding really piss me off. He has a right to an opinion but he should learn how to properly voice that opinion befor he makes a fool of himself, and enimies of others.

my god...
lol i saw the original post on this topic and was not impressed. something about a friggen american sport association or some crap that didnt even exist in the first place. Now...me being an avid competative paintballer, i know for sure that paintball is definetly a sport no 2 ways about it. especially with the introduction of the NXL. Like when paintball gets that close to a sport like hockey, how can it not be a sport. just doesnt make sence. i could ramble on like this about it for a long time but i choose not to so im going to stop here. and just in case you didnt hear me the first time..PAINTBALL IS A SPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. thank you. *bows slightly and walks out the door*

In fact, i believe that at least in florida, paintball has been recognized as an official sport (not sure, but i think it was due in part the the world championships bein held at the "Wide World of Sports", owned by Disney).
