He slipped in the door behind her and immediately jumped into the rafters, wondering what she would do next. He wasn't at all surprised that she would sing, of all things a gushy song of love. Even as she finished he rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Well keep believing Lady...maybe some guy will just drop out of the sky then." he called out to her, still remaining relatively hidden from her in the rafters

The smile fell off her face and turned into a frown. She looked up at the rafters for the known source of the voice. "Must you interrupt my practicing?" She asked up to the rafters. "And if you can't find anything else to do and find what I sing to be so offensive, why not let me know what you like? I just might try singing it for you, if I am in a good mood."

"You and your practicing...What on earth are you practicing for anyway?" he scoffed as he jumped down from the rafters, landing on the piano. He laid down on the top and plucked a few random notes while up there. "I'm going to offend your singing regardless of what you sing" he mused while a smirk appeared on his face. Oh how he loved to torture her

"I like singing..." She muttered looking off to the side not wanting to look at him. "And no one else seems to like my singing." She sent him a small glare. "So why even bother being around me if you don't even like it?"

"And what makes you say that no one likes it? Other than my opinions of course" he said rolling over to his stomach, tail swishing boredly. "Because you are teasable." he said with a smirk as he jumped down from the piano finally and sat in front of her, only smirking.

"I was told." She said turning away from him again. Why was she so much fun for him to tease anyway? She let out a small sigh and flicked her tail it wrapping around her loosely. "Is that it? You just like to tease others?"

"Told? By who? other than me of course" he smirked, noticing she had suddenly shunned him. His smirk faded to a frown and a furrowed brow. She should really start to realize that his words were usually a joke. "Well I have nothing else to do these days. My kids are grown...my mate disappeared....What else am I to do" he said with a miffed glare

"My own brother..." She muttered in a slightly dark tone. Her twin brother really told his opinion very openly. She then blinked at him when he told of his situation. "Not a very good reason..." She said softly. She relaxed a bit now looking at him. He had grown children already, that made she shift a bit on her feet. "Are you sure there is nothing else you could do to pass the time?"

"To hell with what your brother thinks" he sneered. He shook his head and crossed his arms, preparing to spout more random words of nonsense. "The only one who's opinion matters most is your own." he said with a nod, only then opening his eyes and glaring her down at the following comment.
"' Not a good reason'? Well then same to you in believing your brother has a say in your life." he sneered once more. She had struck a bit of a nerve, but it wouldn't have meant much had she not basically admitted her own thoughts didn't matter. He disregarded her last question as it was only rhetorical to what he was saying earlier. All he could do was shake his head once more

"Well at least I don't go around telling others they can't trust their own family because one of them hurt my feelings!" She snapped at him now getting a bit fed up with what seemed to be bi-polar emotions from him. She jumped up and briskly walked out the door. He had no idea how young she had been when it happened, at that age such a thing was much more lasting in one's mind and made them even more self conscious about what they did.
She found a well hidden spot under some tree roots and made her way in there. It was just big enough for her, she laid down and thought over the conversation. As far as she could tell, he had no right to be angry with her, after he was the one teasing her in the first place. It served him right to get the same treatment he gave to others.

"aaaand there you go again.." he said as she all but jumped the gun and practically bolted out the door. This time, he saw no reason to follow. She was suddenly no longer that interesting to tease. Was it because she had stormed out at basically her last straw? Or was it that she just took things way to seriously. Personally, the demon fox found it as the latter of the reasons and shrugged it off, soon moving to a near by couch and plopping down, soon propping his feet up and relaxing a paw behind his head.
If she wanted to have nothing to do with him and took his mostly meaningless teases as something serious, then he had no reason to know her better. Hell..He didn't even know her name..that was immunity in his mind
