The year is thirteen hundred and sixty-three. A small village disappears from the northern section of Italy. A mystery which had been labeled unexplained by all whom had passed by the unknown village. One day however... Smoke rose from the village and from this smoke. They were an oddity, for certain. The air smelled of blood, the scent of iron, a single book amidst the bodies, its pages flipped, glistening in crimson. Laughter amidst the smoke, as the white masked form picked up the book, the taint of a creature from the afterlife embodied within. Which part of the afterlife? It seemed to vary. It wasn't long after that the village was investigated once more by a local band of bandits.

To this day, their presence and their arrival has been labeled simply as... Hellborne.
As most would wonder, their power? What drives it? The very essence of the Valleto di Sangue is in their tome. More often than not, one can be noticed the the ancient tome, which binds their spirit to this world. In short, the Valleto di Sangue are creatures whom no longer belong, souls clinging to flesh, anchored by the pages of blood that each carries. More often than not, this cadaver, whom they are anchored too goes through... A rebirth. Genes often twisting to alter their original form, and a new life begins.
The might of the Sangue is a rather odd one, however structured in the most rigid of manners.
Birthing
The Sangue are an odd way to come into being. The primary method involves being among the Sources at one's time of death, and having a proper host body to work with. These bodies are typically vessels which have been abandoned by one's soul in death. Decay matters little in terms of the host, so long as it is not completely turned to dust. Missing patches on the information will typically be filled in, utilizing one's own genes. The stipulation for this method, is that the clan mate, must have obtained the permission from "surrogates" as the transference of the soul will trigger a reversal in one's new vessel.
After this process, one's tome is burned slightly above a new one, its essence being hidden away in the pages of the new. The process is strictly followed, retaining one's memories is strictly forbidden until the Omega state is achieved, where the past self may be subject to release.
Secondly, one may enter the plan by continuing the genetic line of a clan member. Thus, one's children may continue to expand the line.
Delta Stage
With the acceptance of one's tome as a true life link, and accepting that these tomes will be one's bond to their reawakening. D rank and higher, this is a state where the Page of Blood will begin. Specializing in the edge of the triangle of powers is basically impossible at this understanding of power. In terms of ability, one is in a neutral position, as they are taught in the ways of the ink of the spiritually aware. These users are essentially inklings of what they'll be able to do, even with their future abilities.
Beta Stage
With the growth of one's power, the page will find in themselves the answer to ascension, when authorized by the head of the organization. The seal upon one's memories will begin to be worn away slowly, and the process will unleash a voice, cycling through one's blood. Upon the pages of their tome, they must let their blood message them, and listen in earnest. One must utilize the blood of the enemy, even just a droplet. It is said that the mightier the foe, the mightier the result. This is where one's choice truly begins. With the blood of a masked vizard, or a hollow shall the ink of the soulless be granted. Unmasked vizard or shinigami, and one will obtain the ink of the noble. Lastly, with a bount's blood, one will touch upon the Symbiont Ink. All of these will end up in furthering their strengths.
These inks fall under that of ruin, preservation or balance, respectively.
Alpha State
With one's ascension, the power within them obviously rises with them. How it ascends is dependent upon how they proceeded with beta state.
Under the ink of the soulless, one will find themselves on a more destructive scale than any other of their kin. Their powers will be self driven, and in the end, one will find themselves with more than just their voice of history. One will find a new voice beginning to pound in the back of their head. Their innermost desire for themselves coming to life, in the form of the ink. Typically, one will call it their icon, and this must be watched very carefully as it will end one's existence if it can.
Under the contract of the symbiont's ink, one's balance between the old and the new seems to appear most stable. The old memories which were released find themselves being funneled into the icon of balance. A puppet of sorts, thriving well enough to operate on one's own. Both realize that they are of themselves, however both are needed to continue their existence.
In general, one can say that those of the soulless will become commanding and tyrannical over their power, while the symbiont will be independent of the host in a sense of its actions. Lastly is that of the noble.
The ink of the noble is an oddity discovered. An independent power, where one neutralizes the voice of blood, as the worn seal had torn away far more than before with the other two. Their rise in power is similar to a zanpakuto, their initial powers becoming magnified. The usual pinnacle of power is achieved, something akin to a bankai.
Omega State
This ends the progression which are the states of the pages of blood. The territory becomes more dangerous than ever. One must make pilgrimage, to the hidden caverns back in the source land. Here, they must make their way into the realm of the divine, and pending upon their acts, one must find themselves their form known as the recipiente della dio. Among the source land, this is where one will transfer flesh for the first time even in the peak of their health. No memories sealed, those who inhabit the recpiente della dio become leaders of their people, having obtained the ultimate power, they become known as salii. No more than two of each branch are permitted to rise to this noble rank. These are the creators of sources. The recipiente della dio will allow full pull over all the influences of the blood, and inner voices. However, these inherent risks allow them to fully release under the universal ability.... Addomo della Finire. The body of the end. Past, present and future collide with the voices, melding together into the very essence of their capabilities.
