~Background~

At the age of five both of his parents died in a fire. Sent to an orphanage for the rest of his life, he never really got along with anyone. He was constantly getting in trouble and punished constantly. At the age of eighteen he spent most of his time at the beach in the winter, looking out over the icy water. When he wasn't doing that he was in collage getting an education. He graduated at the top of his class and went on to become the founder of well know hospital. At the age of 31, Seth was walking home from work, back to his apartment when shot and killed from a drive by shooting. Making his way to the soul society he spent fifty years in the rukon district before going to the soul reaper academy. There he also made it at the top of his class and was accepted into squad three. After another hundred or so year he ended up becoming the captain of Squad three.

Shikai Ability: Anything the blade touches will be hit twice instead of once.
Attack #1: Xephos charged the opponent, his blade protecting him and making him move faster due to cutting the air in front and eliminating wind resistance.
Attack #2: Xephos slams his blade into the ground, causing a small fissure to open up below his opponent's feet a few seconds afterwards.

Bankai Ability: Capable of setting the opponent ablaze if they are within a foot of the blade (Depending on the rank and spiritual pressure of an opponent, it could happen almost instantaneously or up to ten seconds.)

Attack #1: Xephos throws the scythe, sending it whirling at the opponent and back.
Attack #2: Xephos cuts the air around the opponent, making it hot enough to burn.
Attack #3: Xephos spins the blade in one hand, using it like a large buzz saw.
