Lynette extended her hand to shake his. She knew it was western but it was one of her little quirks. It was just a comforting action to repeat.

"Well, it would be my pleasure to spend some time with you. I'm Lynette Reynolds."

Jirou reached took her outstretched hand and grasped it firmly. It seemed to be becoming more common to shake hands these days instead of bowing, but he didn't mind at all. Especailly if he got to hold a pretty girl's hand.

"Nice to meet you, Lynette... and Marie," he added, nodding his head in acknowledgement at her.

Lynnete extended her hand to the setup behind her. It had all been Alice's idea minus a few of the touches. She had thrown in lilies instead of roses, and more cream than pink. Actually, she had tried to remove almost all pink in her short time there.

"Please, have a seat. Can I get you anything to drink?"

Jirou took a seat on the sofa, admiring its color. It was easy on the eyes, unlike the other bright furnishings in the room.

"Water would be great, thanks.." Even though deep down he'd rather have a soda, he knew that he needed to have only healthy food and drink in order to perform well in soccer.

He felt a little bad making her get him a drink, but that was what hostess clubs were for, right?

Lynette nodded and poured a crystal glass of water. Man, this guy was totally healthy. If it had been up to her, Lynette would've gotten some sort of sugary drink. Or maybe tea... It would depend. Regardless, she handed him the glass with a large smile.

"So what do you like to do around Ouran? I think I've seen you a few times before this."

I'm happy to just watch...

Lynette studied his face a bit more carefully. Yes, the soccer club was definitely where she'd seen him. He played center. (hope i got that right). The few times she had gone to a game, she saw him plenty chasing the ball and passing it back and forth down the field.

"That's it then! What's it like to play soccer? I'm sure its so much different playing than watching."

I'm happy to just watch...
