Okami saw the gran rey cero head towards him but he was highly un-prepared for the attack, he had an advantage though. He saw the cero being formed and fired at him but as this was happening Okami was already moving out the way of the attack. By the time the cero reached him, Okami was already out the way, or almost. The cero caught his foot causing it to easily be disentegrated into nothing but it began to quickly re-form. "Thank you for high-speed regenration"
Something people didn't exactly know about Okami was that he was almost 'made' for battle. One thing that people always wondered was how he was able to dodge almost any attack that came his way which was actuallly quite simple, his eyes. Instead of having an equal balance of rods and cones in his eyes, he had nothing but rods which allowed him to see in extrodinary detail, so much so that things moved in slow motion to him just so that he could see as well as he could. This made him a incredible hand to hand fighter and also an incredible shooter. But the down side, he could only see in black and white.
