Ω____ Abeo, the Changing Race ____Ω
The Abeo (Latin for Changer) are a race of humans from ancient times. Their first recorded sighting was back in the Egyptian era, and were openly worshiped as the Egyptian Gods. However, soon after the fall of that civilization the creatures became lost to the sands of time, only to reappear later as the Greek Gods. These were the Abeo, always appearing in the world where large amounts of concentrated Reishi could be found in the world. Why is unknown to all but the Abeo, of course. These changers were well known for their powers over their own molecular structure, as well as their ability to have powers based on a "Release" that they all have. The Abeo live for hundreds of years, aging one year for every ten that passes. Because of this, their children are more vulnerable than any other races. But the upside is that their mind progresses like a human, so a 10 year old Abeo will have the learning of a 110 year old. Another important point is that when angry, their irises will glow the color of their reiatsu, but ONLY their irises. This glow shows up whenever the Abeo want, or when angry (they don't have a choice in that, for if furious it WILL glow), and when using their Liberatio power. To show that they are Abeo, no matter the rank, an Abeo shows the glow of their eyes.
A noteworthy piece of information for the Abeo is that their slaying of hollows purify the souls, similar to the Shinigami Zanpakto. The only difference is that the process is agonizing for soul, and upon reaching Soul Society, will never become a Shinigami in any way.
Abeo age extremely slow, as noted above. However, their minds do not. Their minds grow as a normal human would, so by the time their are one year old in Abeo time, they are ten years old in the head. Because of this, Abeo children play mind games, learning to love riddles and jokes. When they are about three years old, they begin to physically play, but they are still 30 year olds in the head. This continues as they age, but because of the slowness in their aging they never truly grow up. Even the oldest, the Imperator himself, is a bit childish. They love to joke, to play, and even though they are stiffly formal to the outside world they are extremely fun loving in their own culture. Keep in mind this doesn't mean they don't have rules. They have them, and breaking them is still wrong.
Another thing to keep note of is their customs. One such is when speaking to another formally. You would speak to them with utmost respect if the Abeo is older than you, and if they the ranks above you, you would call them their rank, and then their last name. Even if on informal terms, you would still refer to someone of higher rank as their title and then first name. So, formally you'd refer to, say, a Curator as "Curator Fel'gan", with Fel'Gan being the last name. And informally it would be "Curator Bob" ( xd ). Clothes tend to be light, with almost no heavy clothes worn. Often the men will wear vests with loincloths or shorts. Women wear lose blouses with skirts, or even thin dresses. Because of how often the form changes, casual nudity, or showing of any flesh, isn't looked down on. Never is, and never will be.
The First Stage:
Every Abeo of D-rank or higher starts with the first stage, and as they grow they only learn how to better use this stage. At this stage of development, the Abeo are able to take the form of any natural animal. To do this they rearrange the molecular structure of their bodies. This is not a power generated through spiritual energy of any sort, but by something else entirely, as are almost all of the powers of the Abeo. This power allows them to grow the wings of a bird, the fangs of a lion, or turn entirely into a wolf. Another power that this stage possesses is the ability to touch physical, non-spiritual, non-living matter and either break it down at the cellular level or convert it into something else. This is limited only to physical matter, however. Meaning, they could disintegrate the wall of a normal building, but wouldn't be able to disintegrate the walls of the Seireitei. This is further limited in this stage of development in that any material that is in any way metallic or crystalline cannot be manipulated or broken down. At this stage, an Abeo is unable to alter their body to the point of making their skin as hard as steel, or even into steel, or even stone.
At this stage, the Abeo is able to manipulate/break down 1 cubic foot of non-spiritual, non-living, non-metallic or crystalline matter for every 50 reitsu points they have.
Second Stage Stage:
The second stage of development is in all ways except for the following: Abeo at this stage of development are able to transform into inanimate objects, as well as add different elements to their transformations. Meaning, they could become a bear with titanium teeth, or bones as dense as stone. They can only make one change at a time, however, meaning they can't be a bear with Titanium teeth AND steel bones. Only one, or the other, per post. As for Transmuting for this stage the Abeo is able to now transmute metallic and crystalline materials, up to one cubic foot for every 25 reiatsu points you possess.
Third Stage:
The third stages comes with two aspects. They are:
Seating/Ranking
SS-Ranked
(Imperator)
The Imperator has all three stages unlocked
Literally translated as the "Commander in Chief", the Imperator is the absolute ruler of every Abeo in existence. Every Abeo alive knows the Imperator by scent, if not sight, and obey him without question. Rogue Abeo are known to exist, but they are ruthlessly hunted at every turn. The Imperator is just what he is: the Emperor of the Abeo. The Imperator has access to all three stages of power, and is generally accepted as the most powerful Abeo alive.
In the current Greek culture, the Imperator is the God-Emperor of Greece. To look upon him directly, or even to hear his words spoken, is punishable by death unless you are of the Curator class or of the Royal Family. Anyone else is sentenced to immediate execution.
S-Rank
(Curator)
Auditors automatically unlock their Third Stage. This automatically gives them [4] stat points to distribute
Literally translated as "Guardian", their purpose is to be the guardians of the Imperator and act as his Imperial Guard. Often, they act as Judge and Jury for a crime an Abeo is said to have committed. They take information gained from the Auditors and from there, they make a judgment. Only when it involves Treason will the Imperator hear the case, otherwise the Curators deal with such things. Curators have access to all three stages of Abeo development.
A-Rank
(Punitor)
Auditors only have the First and Second Stage
Literally translates as "Punisher", for the Punitors are the ones who are called when punishments for crimes are ordered by the Imperator. When a crime has been committed and the Curators have sentenced the accused, it is the Punitors that deal out the punishments. They are also the ones who capture the criminal to be brought before a Curator. Punitors have access to the first and second stages of development.
B-Rank
(Auditor)
Auditors automatically unlock their Second Stage. This automatically gives them [3] stat points to distribute
Literally translated as "Listener", and Auditors are the spies of the Abeo, listening for any sign of criminal activity by other Abeo. If they hear anything, they report them to the Curator, who they dispatch Punitors to capture the accused. Auditors are also the ones sent to infiltrate other societies for information.
C-Rank
(Discipulus)
Discipulus only have the first stage
Literally translates as "Learner", for these are the intermediate Abeo who are still learning their powers. Their position in the Heirarchy of the Abeo is simply to learn, to train, and to awaken. They are sometimes called on to act as Suscutatio for the Imperator, and to be chosen for such duty is considered a great honor.
D-Rank
(Suscitatio)
Suscitatio automatically unlock their first stage. This automatically gives them [1] stat points instead of [1] to distribute
Literally translated as "Awakening", these are the Abeo who have just learned what they are and that there is a society for their kind. These Abeo are the ones that act as squires to higher up Abeo, such as Punitor and Curator. They have strict chores and a little studying, taught by those whom they serve or by a class taught by a Discipulus. .
E-Rank
(Quietus)
Quietus begin with no release stages
Quietus are the lowest ranking of the Abeo, thus their name, which translates as "Sleeping". Quietus cannot control their powers yet, and instead focus more on their mental training.

Third Stage:
The third stages comes with two aspects. They are:
When transforming, the Abeo is able to alter the structure of the form he/she takes to any extent. For instance, a bear with the skin of granite, teeth of steel, etc. At this stage the Abeo is able to transmute or break down up to one cubic foot of material for every 10 reiatsu points you possess.
The Abeo gains a release stage, called "Liberatio", which is where the myth of them being the Egyptian and Greek/Roman Gods came from. This form is based entirely on the personality of the Abeo. The transformation, and the powers that come from it, are heavily influenced by the personality of the Abeo. The powers are also heavily influenced the personality of the Abeo. If you are lustful, your powers might work around Love and inspiring it in others, etc. Your powers don't have to match your personality, but as stated, your personality does play a part in it. Oddly, this final stage relies on Reiatsu, and thus if someone were to remove spiritually based powers from an Abeo they could not release. Each Liberatio has a release incantation or phrase, always different based on the Abeo of course. The release phrase is heavily influence by what the transformation gives you or does to you. At the end of every phrase, though it ends with "Liberatio". For example: "Release the Dogs of War! Liberatio!" for someone like Aries.
