I was wondering if masturbating makes you late... I did it about a few days before I was supposed to start, and it hasn't come yet...

Kevin Holmes dont stress thats the number one reason why they come late dont worry. Actually, that couldn't be further from the truth. Masturbation has nothing to do with menstrual cycle. sweatdrop Things that can make a woman's cycle late include change in diet, travel (especially if changing time zones), stress, pregnancy, etc. And then there are some women who are never regular. Even some women who are regular can become irregular as they get older, due to hormonal changes, etc. If you're sexually active, take a pregnancy test 1 week after the day it was due. If you're not sexually active, then it's probably just hormones or stress, so try to be patient. If you're really worried, talk to your doctor.

Like Niko said, stress and many other things can have an impact on your cycle. And most cycles aren't perfect anyway, so it's normal to be a few days early or late for no apparent reason either. It's usually nothing to worry about. But definitely take a pregnancy test if you are sexually active. Nikolita Kevin Holmes dont stress thats the number one reason why they come late dont worry. Okay, I have been stressed lately.
I'm not sexually active, so I can't be pregnant. My cycle has been quite regular, but that most it's ever varied since I became regular was a couple days each month. (I do go by counting days and not days in the month) So, will this stress change my cycle permanently or will they return to being on the 1st or 2nd of each month?

I don't know how old you are, but it's noraml for a woman's cycle to change as she gets older. Whether or not it's permanent is hard to say, since every female is different. It may become more regular on its own as you get older (or with the help of birth control), or it may stay irregular. Or it may go back to being regular once you become less stressed is my guess.

Okay, thanks for the help! I've had it for about a year an a half now. Well I'll just take it as it comes, as long as it's not at school. I should be thankful for it coming late, because we all know that periods are SO much fun. rolleyes
