If you're going to erase posts I'm going to look into it.

If posts are erased for "censorship" or trying to keep people quiet, I will find you. There's no excuse for ignoring problems.

When I find you, you're in trouble.

If you're in trouble, I'll demote you for a time. The time depends on the severity of the situation. If a ruckus like what has been caused is once again caused, you will not find yourself on crew again.

The reason I posted this in the main forum is because I want everybody to know we admit this is what happened, and I am going to stop it.
BY THE WAY THIS INCLUDES EDITING! While not as easy for me to catch, I will find you.


For those who missed what happened:

Posts by members that appealed to us about an issue in the roleplay were deleted. When a post followed asking for a stop to censorship, these were deleted. This resulted in angered members and the view that the crew does not listen to it's memberbase.

This I will not stand for.

The reasoning behind the deletion was apparently to try to quell the impending "drama". This was apparently not an attempt at "censorship" but still came out this way. This was handled very badly. It was incorrect.


One more thing! REGULAR CREW is reminded politely that only vice captain and captain may ban or threaten to ban. If you threaten to ban this is an act that cannot be completed.

We have a log that explains which crew and member deleted the post. We can easily tell which posts are made for censors and which are not.

As for what happened, let's just say that there was a misunderstanding between the crew and member.

There are PMs for a reason, and all these posts kinda detract from the fact that there are rules up there... XD *facepalm*

Honestly, this is all I ask for. Nothing more, nothing less. All I ask is that we members get a word in every now and then. If people don't agree, talk to us.
