I heard there was drama going around because some user on youtube, "melmelbuttercup", keeps adding links in her description and other users, too. O: It's causing MMD model makers like Nanami and Lat to not publish their links ever again. :S What's sad is how I have MMD and I can't get that Teto model. ;^;

Sadly, I have that model , but with the authors wishes I dont want to distribute it. Perhaps one day she will allow them again.
Though with a bit of googling it can be found hosted places.

It's not so much "adding links to their description"... more like, downloading the model, then hosting it on their file hosting site. It cuts out the original maker, and obviously with all the hard work some people put into their models, they want credit for them.
Completely understandable, from my PoV anyways. ^^

Oh God, I thought I was safe from people talking about MelTroll on here X__X
I don't care how much she thinks she's helping people, she needs to go away.
She's setting an extremely bad example to newbies!
They think she's hot stuff, and they want to "help" other new people =_=

they way i see it if you didn't want people editing your creations, you should distribute them in the first place knowing people would eventually make their own creations out of what you made. if anything they should be happy that they're even using them to begin with wither it's modified or not rather than making a big deal out a bunch of data ShionKaitoUke Oh God, I thought I was safe from people talking about MelTroll on here X__X I don't care how much she thinks she's helping people, she needs to go away. In fact, I'm one of the top people fighting against noobs doing noobish things and making model makers mad 8D And its not that hard to follow simple rules the model makers ask you to follow. 98% of the Japanese MMD Community does it. About 45% of the English Community does it. It was so bad a little while ago that I considered just dropping everything and just leaving the English Community, its too overrun with idiots,
