I worked with this one girl for a few years and I had a name tag that had my full name on it *i was her boss part of the time* and she still spelled my name completely wrong
Its Clarissa and she spells it Clriassa.
Lol we're still friends but she still spells my name like that, its kinda funny and I have no idea how she got the idea that my name is spelled that way.

my actual name is ethan. many people always spell it "eathen" like im eating a hen crying

French people usually get my name right (or add an extra N), but in english it's a whole different story. XD I ALWAYS have to repeat it a few times before they get it right.

saturnwonder Having your name spelled wrong is one thing, but when your own parents call you 2-3 other names BEFORE they call you by the right name, that's super annoying. I'M REBECCA!! Not Jessica, not victoria, not Makayla, but REBECCA!! My parents actually do that all the time. They cycle through my sister's name, my late brother's name, guinea pig's names, their siblings names (that's 8 names total), and THEN my name.

On a side note i actually have a half brother that i met a few years back who by happenstance was named by his adopted mother Jason. So many J's

oh, all you children who have been called by your siblings names...until you've been called by your niece or nephew's name...who isn't even visiting with you at the time...don't try. D: thats a whole different generation they're mistaking you for.

Most people have a problem spelling my Internet name, which I find amusing and yet annoying at the same time XD
I don't like using my real name XD
