Oporation Ivy without a doubt. It's good to see there is still SOME punk roots being appreciated on this site.

I'd have to say old school Green Day only because I've never listened to Operation Ivy. I will get around to it.

Operation Ivy, hands down. Both bands started around the same time in the same area, with Green Day opening up shows for OpIvy. They're both quite good, actually, but my ska roots have to make it Operation Ivy.

Green Day use to be my fav band But All American Rejects sounds really poppy, I only liked The Last Song Old Green Day is AMAZING, much better than new. I love Green Day's old album.
