Okay I met this guy on myyearbook middle of July and we started talking through messages, he asked for my number last week which I gave to him 'cause I liked that he didn't ask for it immediately.
Well the convo online was lifeless 65% of the time, it got a alittle bit better texting though, & last night we talked on the phone.
He mainly talked, 'cause I'm a very quiet person on the phone and in general.. it got a bit better though.
On the 2nd night of texting he asked would I still talk to him if he was taken, I said yeah. Because I like him as a friend, however he does have some potential boyfriend qualities if it grows to that point.
So on the phone, he asked would I like to hangout sometime, I said yeah sure. Left it at that. Later he asked if I'd like to go to church with him this Sunday I said yeah sure but I gotta ask my parents.
Well I don't feel very comfortable doing that, least not yet and I doubt my parents will say yes 'cause they don't know of his existence yet, but they might. Yes I gotta meet him sooner or later, I just don't think early morning church is the way to do it.
Part if the reason why I'm nervous about meeting him is I have yet to meet anyone I've met online in person before.
Main thing, how do I tell him I don't want to go to church Sunday but would still like to hang out at a later date and somewhere where the setting is neutral?
And if this matters he's 18 and lives like an hour away, I'll be 18 in Feb.
