heart I love alto sax! heart Why?!?!? I picked it up last year after joining jazz band with a flute(yep, that's weird...but I wanted to play jazz sooooo bad) and having to play off alto parts all the time (Eb to C instrument....got pretty fast at transposing(sp?) in my head...it was cool). Anyways I think Jazz flute is pretty cool too, but alto sax goes all the way!

I like to play piano and I used to play clarinet, but I don't have it anymore, snif. Anyway, I also play guitar, but that's a very difficult jazz instrument.

k, jazz right, favorite jazz instrument would hav to be sax, any of the saxes, and right behind is bass, then clarinet, then trumpet, then.... heck!i love em all

Sax is just... god's gift to jazz bands. Without them it would sound like a bunch of screeching monkey brass. They add smoothness and...you know what? It's just easier to say saxes are so much better than brass. Especiallty Tenor.
Although I want a Soprano really bad!
