Mayli could feel her cheeks grow red as she saw his get a little flusher as well. This guy was cute and she knew it. It was just what she needed to make her forget all about HIM. "So how long have you been living here? Where do you live? I like your outfit." Now she knew that she was rambling, but she was okay with it. She gave off an awkward giggle. "I like to cook. Do you like food? I'm 20, how old are you? I ate a smoothie this morning- it was strawberry oatmeal."

Summer 29 Kenny answerd all the questions calmly. "I've been living here for three days now, I don't have a place to live yet so I've been sleeping in the streets, Thanks I like my outfit too! Yours isn't so bad itself. Kenny smiled at the compliment. He hadn't been asked if he wasn't from around Nirvani at all, Like he fit in or something! Unlike Mister Alecksey wearing a long cream coat towards the end of the summer.... Brutal. Kenny continued answering her questions as they came. I love food, My favorite are beets and baked potatoes. I'm 18 years old, A Strawberry oatmeal smoothie? No thanks, I'll pass." He said with a slight chuckle. She must be nervous. Thats okay I'm pretty nervous myself.. Gah, If only I'd met more people back home instead of working with the animals all the damn time."

This was the chance Mayli was looking for and she knew it for sure. She just had to make sure she didn't force him to eat any strawberry oatmeal smoothies anymore. "You poor thing!! You've been here for 3 days and living on the streets?!" She gasped and put her hands to her mouth a little unnecessarily. "You've GOT to come live with us! We have room!" Mayli grabbed Kenny's forearm and pulled him over to Zori, she was ecstatic, and heard nothing of what anyone was saying. She already made up her mind that Kenny was going to move in with them. As she spoke she was already planning on what to move in the house to make room. "Zori, this young man is Kenny, he is going to be moving in with us!"

Summer 29Kenneth listened as sympathy poured from the girls mouth. "No no, That's not necessaRY!!!" He exclaimed in surprise as he was dragged to another girl who was told that he would be moving in with them. Kenneth was about to protest profusely that this kind of thing happen. After all living with two girls would be rough and uncouth until he saw his other roommate to be. Woah..... Kenny thought to himself. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad of an idea, Hell it could even be fun. He eye'd both of the women for a moment, Not sizing them up just taking quick glances. Jackpot.

"Mayliiiiii what are you doing? Are you crazy? You met this guy like five seconds ago and now he's going to live with us? You might like him or something, and he seems nice I guess, but we have absolutely no room! The only way we'll be able to fit him is if he lives in the broom closet, like Harry Potter!" Zori instantly realized her horrible mistake. "Don't you dare get any ideas. Alright?"
Usually she was the one who didn't really care about most things, as long as she got her privacy, something that would be depreciated of if this actually went through. But her older sister was so... ugh, around any male, it was ridiculous. Maybe this is why she didn't like them so much. But she had to draw the line to Mayli's 'obsession' somewhere.

Reasoning with Mayli at this point would be like trying to reason with an ape to give up its banana to a cat. In other words- Don't even think about it. Mayli heard about half of what Zori ended up saying. "Oh no I think he's too big for the closet, trust me I thought of that already, and it would be pretty cruel to stick him on a leash and tie him to the tree outside. No we will have to think of something. I'd say the couch, but that's not a suitable living arrangement, maybe for a short while, but not forever. No we need to think of something else... Maybe he could take your room and you could sleep with me, just for a little while until he feels fully comfortable sleeping in the same bed..." If Mayli was talking to Zori, then she didn't show the customary polite conversational gaps where you allow the other person to speak. Mayli babbled on, mainly thinking aloud to herself.

Summer 29Kenny waited while the two of them spoke to each other. Truth be told he wasn't paying attention he was just waiting for them to start talking to him again. Otherwise he would just wait here forever, staring out at the sea. Wind blowing through his hair making his bandana wave behind him all dramatically and heroically. He imagined how awesome he must look right now, Totally a narcissistic thought! Bad Kenny bad! Leave your dreams out of it!" He thought to himself while waiting for Mayli to finish her side of the argument until eventually Kenny piped in. "Hate to interrupt but there really is no need for me to stay with you two... Um.. Not that I.. wouldn't like to...." He said realizing what he had said. "I-I'm actually looking for a spall amartment right now...Sm..Small apartment! I should know by the end of tonight so I won't be sleeping on the streets for long, And your more then welcome to come visit me once I've moved in... um... Both of you!"

Zori gasped. Now, Mayli dared take away what was most important to her? The privacy in her room? "Oh no. My room stays my room. And if he 'can't fit in the broom closet' then he won't fit in my room cause they're about the same size!" She shouted, throwing her arms at her sides in a fit. Maybe if he really could fit the closet she would be alright with it but he was NOT staying in her room.
Phew. At least someone had some sense around here. The shorter sister pointed to Kenny to prove that she was just a weirdo and no one would want to live with them. Mayli was a good person in general, but keep her in a cage with any random guy and she would probably rip all his clothes off. Well, that's what her past shows, anyways. "Thanks," She said, directing her attention towards him. "Oh, and I'm Zori, by the way. I know you're Kenny." She nodded slightly, both acknowledging him and apologizing for her sister.

Tears came to Mayli's eyes as she looked down at her sister. "But..." She pleaded with her younger sister. "He's got no where to go... He's going to be all sad LIVING on the streets... He can sleep on the couch... its better then the cold, hard... LONESOME, streets." And with that she gave her famous puppy eyes to her younger sister, as she cupped her hands together literally begging.

Summer 29 Kenny listened while Mayli continued her argument that he should stay with them. "Miss Mayli I really musn't intrude! I'll have an apartment to stay in soon. It's really no big deal! Kenny hoped he'd be heard this time, It was really no trouble. He'd gotten used to the bench he'd been sleeping on. it really wasn't that big of a deal. "I can come visit you two at your place sometime for sure to try some of that food you said you can cook. I don't have many friends yet so how about you two be mine? He said in hopes of distracting the girl from her locked on target conversation.

Now she'd have to make an exit without hurting her sister's delicate feelings, or getting too awkward. "Uh, Mayli? I have my phone, and stuff. If you get lost. Since I'm the one with the map." Zori shrugged. She really hoped she wouldn't call just to say hi. "Also don't go offering our home to random hobos. Err, no offense to you, Kenny." She turned to leave, but she really couldn't leave without giving some sort of advice. "To avoid this next time you move, I suggest having enough money to live somewhere before you actually move." She raised her eyebrows. It was mean, and she wasn't usually mean, but come on, someone needed to tell him. "Now if you'll excuse me..."

Just as quickly as Mayli's feelings of another being moving in with them were brought into the picture, was just as quick as they vanished. Now she had a new fantasy. That Kenny would visit and they would have picnics in the garden outside of their house and that she would slip away to Kenny's apartment sometimes to just chat with him. After she went through several situations in her head, she started to plan her stalking ways. 'It's not stalking, it's just taking pictures of a lovely apartment, that so happens to be occupied...' It's a wonder how the mind can make up things to justify crazy and outlandish ideas. Mayli was a genius, and yet she used her knowledge to creep in bushes, taking pictures in the dark, and following someone on foot for several blocks. Peeking in windows was her 3rd best skill. The first one was obviously cooking, her second was being able to lure a guy in by "persuasive" arguments. Her 4th skill was her knowledge; which like her parents had worried, was being wasted.
Grabbing her stuff off the beach she nodded to Kenny and ran after her little sister, already putting together her plan of attack in her head. She would need a better camera; or at least a filter for her's that could take pictures in the dark. It's odd how someone with ADD and OCD can be a genius...
Mayli searched for a while before she gave up and went home, not being able to find her sister.

Summer 29Kenny just stood there as everything had happened so fast, He was completely and totally speechless. He didn't want to see the two pretty girls go but he was too flabbergasted to say a damn thing. It was truly astounding how quickly Mayli went from one thing to another, and that Zori! Man were they both lookers. They couldn't possibly be interested in a guy like him... That's it.... I am getting that apartment. Kenny thought to himself. Afterall what kind of girl would get with a homeless guy? Kenny had to get his act together and fast. He packed his towel away in his suitcase and headed straight for the small apartment building he'd passed on his way into town. --exit Kenny--
