Suidas s.v. Nike Athena (trans. Suda On Line) (Byzantine Greek Lexicon C10th A.D.) :
"Nike Athena : Lykourgos in the [speech] On the priestess [mentions her]. That the xoanon of Nike, wingless, holding a pomegranate in her right hand and a helmet in her left, was worshipped by the Athenians Heliodoros the Periegete has shown in the first book of his On the Akropolis. Alternatively [she stands] allegorically for the notion that even winning is completely dependent on thought; for thought contributes to victory, but being thoughtless and impetuous while fighting leads to defeat. When she has wings she symbolizes that aspect of the mind that is sharp and, so to speak, swift-winged; but when she is depicted without wings she represents that aspect of it that is peaceful and quiet and civil, that by which the things of the earth flourish, a boon of which the pomegranate in her right hand is a representation. Just as the helmet in her left [is a representation] of battle. Thus she has the same capability as Athena."

On my father's side, it's Krois, the Titan of the south and the ram, and his wife, Eurybia, the goddess of mastering of the seas. So yes, I do have some water in my veins. On my mother's side it's Nyx and Erebos, the inky blackness that covers the night upon the set of Hemera, or Okeanos and Tethys, the seas and the oceans. My father is Pallas, who is the Titan of warcraft and the Greek campaign of late spring early summer. My mother is Styx, the goddess of hatred, her river in the Underworld. Becoming one of the allies of Zeus, he rewarded her by making her river the agent of oaths.ｐｌａｙｉｎｇ ｎｉｃｅ ↘↘I have three others. The order is unknown, but I know I hate my siblings so very much. I guess I should start listing them.. So, they all have wings. Don't listen to Athens on this one, we all have wings. Though, mine are the world renown ones. White, angelic, the tips shinning ivory, they grab anyone's attention. Zelos-probably the most despised one out of the four of us- has golden ones, and he's the god of rivalry and jealousy. It seems as if he's always jealous himself, mainly of me and Bia. Bia has dark red wings, and she's the goddess of violence. She keeps reminding me of Enyo and Eris, but she does seem to fit into that party. She's the favorite of the family, mainly because her red wings made Pallas burst with joy. Anyways, who else? Ah, Kratos. God of strength. He's probably the nicest one out of all of us. He's a good brother, if you want one. ｈａｖｉｎｇ ｍｙ ｅｙｅｓ ↘↘Um.. I don't have any kids. Sort of swore on Zeus' head not to have any. Though, the idea of breaking it does interest me.ｈｅａｒｔ ｈｅａｒｔ ↘↘Not married, never will be. You can't tie down victory in a relationship, doesn't work. Yet, I do have the hots for Poseidon. And having a small relationship..? On Olympos, I can deal with Hermes and Athena.. The rest I just hate.ｂｒｅａｋｉｎｇ ａｒｍｓ↘↘.. I think this list will take to long.. Though someone I hate the most? My parents and Zeus. They top the list.

☁ Show off. Sometimes I do show off things, like my wings, just to show how much victory is desired. By all.
☁ Vengeful. Anyone that's put harm on me is going to get the same pain ten times worse
☁ Out-spoken. I'm not afraid to just say my opinion, shout out a few gods' names, just to see the reaction.
☁ Playful. Who doesn't like to have a little fun? If you want me, you need to work.
☁ Hard-working. Probably the toughest female worker on Olympos, I'm Zeus' little helper. ｇｏｉｎｇ ｂａｃｋ ↘↘✖ I was born from Pallas and Styx, my white wings given from my mother
✖ Soon, my mother became an ally of Zeus, and we did, too. Victory on the Gods' side, I was one of the few goddesses that did fight in the war.
✖ I was given the task of being the charioteer of Zeus, even if he knows I have a hatred for horses.
✖ I got some 'friends' on Olympos. Including Athena, who I became tied to, seeing as we were sometimes quoted to share a lot of things in common when it came to looks.
✖ Know the Olympic torch? That same flame was from my torch, well, that's what I think. Herakles stole it once, and I think it was for those Olympic games.
✖ Being so close to Athena, I was on the Greek side in the Trojan War. During that war, I fell for the hero Akhilles, helping him and Patrolokus, which helped the Greeks. Zeus, finding out about my crush, forced me to watch Paris and Apollo killing him.
✖ Ever since that incident, I've had a burning hatred for the King God. Yet, I'm still quite loyal to him, even I hate half-bloods.
✖ I never really had a childhood, so that led to having a hatred and pity for goddesses of childbirth and motherhood, seeing as the gods grew up quite easily.
✖ Half-bloods? Could live without them. So when the second Titan war came around, I sort of moped around Olympos for awhile, only to see Perseus Jackson. So, I went instead to Zeus and helped him with Typhon, though battling isn't my strong suit.
✖ Men desired, it's obvious everyone wants me. Victory. Maybe it was good I was forced to swear upon Zeus' head not to sire children.
