The weather had been a bit questionable as of late so the Twins decided (with Daddy pleading a bit) to stay inside with Uncle Stitches since Uncle Jack was busy doing other business. Not that they minded spending time with Uncle Stitches but they were still getting used to him, especially lately since he'd been found passed out (by them) and much, much bigger. Neither of them was certain how to handle the newly grown teen but they didn't dislike him never did and likely never would.

Cheryl and Harry sat side-by-side leaned on each other as they hugged their stuffed companions their minds running on empty on what they could do now that they were stuck inside. For the most part the pair had stayed quiet and neither of them seemed to want to play games at the moment but they did want to do something that they could do with Uncle Stitches.

The small girl with glowing red eyes let out a small hum before she lightly pushed her brother to where he sat up on his own. Harry gazed at Cheryl questioningly and she just responded with a smile as she moved closer to Mrrh, a small white hand moved to shyly touch his nearest arm mindful that he might start or flinch so she didn't rest her hand too firmly upon his person, "Uncle Stitches..." Cheryl called out quietly.

To say the least being left alone with the twins was a bit daunting, even if he was older he just didn't know what to do with them. It was one thing to be constant translator at least it kept him busy, but now having Anon working and the twins not able to go outside they were stuck in the crypt just the three of em.

He did give a bit of start when Cheryl touched his arm lightly, turning his head, his red eyes landed on Cheryl's he forced himself to relax. If he intended to go after Anon romantically he would have to get use to the idea the kids were here to stay.

"Ye..ah Cheryl?" He inquired clearing his throat as the first word seemed to catch in it. He no longer wore the bandages mostly because there was no need to. His scars were healed and he tried to no wear a lot of clothing that could touch or rub against them. They were sensitive. So he sat in his man skirt shirtless the cape draped lightly around his shoulders.

She stepped back and hugged on Robbie as she waited for Uncle Stitches to regain composure when that was done she tilted her head a little before she began to talk again, "Harry and I want to do something with you~," she said quietly. After all why wouldn't they want to do something with Uncle Stitches? He was just as much a part of their lives as Daddy was. She glanced around a bit and pondered at a game they could play so that she could suggest it to them.

"Nnn, we...could play...School aaand you can be the teacher?" Cheryl suggested not certain that it was a normal game for children to play. They hadn't really bothered to go out beyond the graveyard since the Festival and what happened to Uncle Stitches.

Mrrh tried not to stare at her, thus he turned his head and went to stand up, gathering his limbs as he then lightly went to pat Cheryl's head. "Bored huh?" He echoed, then again he hadn't exactly been the most stimulating 'uncle'. Sitting here listening to the rain hit the building had vaugely zoned him out.

At the mentioning of playing school he thought on it....right. Chidlren were suppose to go to school weren't they? He felt a mild pang of pity for the twins...because of their living situations they hardly got to leave the crypt. He made a mental note to try and take them out more. Even if it wasn't with Anon, he knew how much Anon disliked moving about during the day and that was when most things were open still.

"Sure..we can play school.." He murmured as he looked to Harry mildly distracted. "You want to play that Harry?"

Cheryl smiled as he patted her head and let out a small happy sound when he agreed to the plan to at least play with them. That was exciting! She gazed over at her brother to see if he would agree.

Harry of course nodded, "Will we learn something for real?" even if it was just play he wanted to actually learn something he was all about the acquisition of knowledge. He moved to stand and wander closer to Mrrh and Cheryl and paused a little, "how do you play school?" he looked mostly at Cheryl since it was her idea.

She stared between them for a moment before she said, "Weeeeee get some books, paaaaaper, and pencils...aaaaaand Mrrh shows us how to do stuff," Cheryl offered vaguely. "Robbie says so," she added.

Robbie probably knew better than he did so Mrrh just nodded his head, "Sounds about right...uh.." he looked around, thankfully he had bought some things for the twins to play with. Sketch pads, pencil crayons...though why he hadn't brought it out for them to play with yet was a mystery even to him.

"Sit down here, and I'll get us some things.." He explained as he went to go retrieve the items from a shopping bag he had hidden. He had gotten Cheryl a pink binder with flowers on it...he wasn't sure why...but Robbie had been pink so he assumed she must like the color. As for Harry his was gray with robots on it. Each was filled with blank white sheets of paper. A box of crayons for each and a pencils and sharpeners.

Coming back he handed each item to their respective children and then he cleared his throat. "O..okay then, when in school you have to listen to the teacher.." He started and labeling himself as a teacher seemed..ironic.

Obediently the twins went to sit down next to each other and waited for Uncle Stitches to return with whatever he went to go get. They chattered quietly at each other not really seeming to make much sense as they talked though they seemed to understand each other perfectly well. When Uncle Stitches returned with the folders, crayons, pencils, and sharpeners they accepted them. Cheryl seemed pleased with the flowers and color of her folder and Harry also appeared pleased.

"Thank you," Cheryl said softly.

"Yes, thank you! These are wonderful," Harry said with a smile appearing on his lips. Both twins nodded when they were instructed to listen to 'teacher' and thus stared up at him attentively.

Well...at least they listened well. How was he suppose to teach exactly? What was he suppose to teach was the better question. Uh. He stared back at the small children a moment racking his brain with what to teach them.

"H..ow about we start with numbers..do you guys know how to count?" He asked as he had extra pieces of paper with him so he could show them examples. Considering he was never really given a class, he had been born with the knowledge it was harder to decide what to show them.

They leaned forward a bit so that they could get a look at what Uncle Stitches was showing them. Harry was one that spoke up first, "Kind of. Uncle Jack showed us some in Daddy-Talk just in case," he explained helpfully.

"I can count up to six," Cheryl offered and Harry nodded to show that he could also count that high though to see the numbers written on the paper and not represented as physical amounts seemed to confuse them. Cheryl pointed at the characters on the sheet that represented numbers, "Those numbers, then?"

Okay so it sounded like they had a varied amount of knowledge in the field. Great. So he guessed the best way was to start at square one. "Yes these are numbers. First.." He held up his hand palm facing them. "We shall learn the number...then learn to write them. Repeat after me.." He started really having no idea if this would be effective as he counted from one to ten using his fingers as visual aids.

The Twins stared attentively and nodded a little accepting the methods being presented by Uncle Stitches. They had no reason to doubt him since to date he had never lied to them about anything even if they never really talked much together outside of when Daddy needed a translator -- still they trusted him and had no reason to question him.

In unison the Twins repeated after Mrrh, "One...Two...Three..." all the way up until the number ten.

It was a bit disturbing if only because they were echoing what he said, yes he knew that he had told them to. That was besides the point.

"Okay so the number one looks like this." He drew out the number one easily enough and showed it to them. "Two looks like this..." He continued no through the numbers one to ten and then showed them each time. It felt weird instructing.... having them not question him was ..nice but still strange.

They stared attentively as he illustrated the numbers. Cheryl had a bit of a curious expression to her face as she stared at the character representations of numbers and Harry seemed to wiggle a bit in place quietly soaking up the knowledge like a little zombie-esque sponge.

"What's after ten?" Harry asked curiously he seemed to enjoy the numbers portion of school much more than his sibling. Something about the logic involved with numbers seemed to stimulate him.

Mrrh was sitting back wondering how to explain this to them.

"Uh..." He started rubbing the back of his head looking a bit on the uneasy side, "There are many many numbers after ten...we can work on those after your memorize the first ten though.." He explained trying to keep the class as easy as possible for his poor mind to handle. Raising a hand he then cleared his through and then showed two fingers.

"How many fingers am I holding up?" he inquired to the both of them.

Harry seemed a bit disappointed that there would be no further explanation on the numbers but he seemed to accept it and nodded and then fell silent as Mrrh held up a hand and asked how many he was holding up. Cheryl gazed quizzically at her brother and then looked at the hand but Harry seemed to be all over it, "That's two! You're holding up two fingers," he chimed out.

Cheryl tilted her head a bit, "Why is it two?"

"Because it isn't just one finger and two comes after one," Harry said with the best possible logic.

Mrrh was pleased at how quickly Harry had caught onto things. Nodding his head he rewarded the boy with a smile, "That's right. This is one," He showed one finger to Cheryl and then he put up another one, "This is two, see there are more than one finger." He wiggeled the fingers as if to prove his point. "So this would be..." He put up yet another finger so he had a total of five up.

Cheryl seemed to catch on now and she nodded and stared at his fingertips and then watched as they increased in number. If two came after one then there were three...four...five! She raised her hand a bit and said, "That's five," she explained.

Harry nodded a bit, "Yeah. You're right Cheryl," he agreed cheerfully enough. He was a bit sulky that he didn't get to answer first but he supposed if he had to share 'smarts' with anyone he could share it with Cheryl. He took secret pride that he seemed to understand numbers a bit better than his sibling however.

Mrrh nodded his again and then took one finger away, he was starting to get the hang of this teaching the children things. "How about now?" He inquired though in the back of his head he wondered if this was too easy..or just plain old boring. Then again he never had a teacher...weren't they suppose to be boring? He tried not to over think it. He would just do the best he could....that was all he could do at the moment.

They didn't seem to be bored and even if they were supposed to be bored they didn't seem to catch on to it since they were too busy learning from Uncle Stitches to realize that boredom was supposed to loom. Harry wiggled a bit as he called out, "Four! You have four now because one went away." He seemed quite content with his answer.

Cheryl tilted her head a bit, "So when you take one away that makes it less..." she observed quietly. The way she seemed to work through things was a bit different.

Mrrh was surprised by just how smart they both were. "your both are very quick thinkers.." He murmured mostly to himself, how to make this more difficult. "Alrighty...now...you guys seem to understand how numbers work...did you guys want to cover...uh the alphabet?"

Cheryl and Harry both nodded a bit. They were ready to move on as proud as they were of the praise that Uncle Stitches laid on them.

"Yeah! I wanna write stuff like Daddy does," Cheryl said with a bit of a wiggle. She wanted to be able to write notes to Daddy too and to read things whenever she needed to. It seemed like a very handy skill. Harry nodded in agreement with his sister.

This was going to take longer to explain..it was the entire alphabet and it couldn't just be summarized with we'll learn the rest later. Or maybe he could...it was a lot to learn.

"Well...this is the letter a." He explained showing them how to draw the letter a lower case style. He wasn't going to go over lower and upper case just yet. That would just get confusing.

The twins leaned forward and they stared at the letter as it was drawn on the paper for them. The two seemed rather interested in the concept of the written word since they saw their parent write a lot for those that did not know the hand signs. They both made the hand sign for the letter 'a' as if to help them further memorize it.

"It looks a little like the sign," Cheryl observed curiously and Harry nodded.

Mrrh nodded his head and then he went about drawing the letter b. Maybe he should just cover the letters in their names....every little kid wanted to know how to write their own names right?

"How...about we learn the letters in your names first.." He started scribbling out the b and then going to write out Cheryl's name and then Harry's. He then paused and wrote out Anon's and his own. Mrrh....then he wrotes Stitches since that was what the kids referred to him by.
"this is how you spell Cheryl. " He explained pointing out her name to the young girl. "This is a C that is a H, E, R, Y, L.." He said each letter out

He then repeated the same thing for Harry before doing Anon and then his own...'names'.

"Did you want to try and write them out?"

Cheryl and Harry paid attention and tended to repeat after Mrrh as he pointed out the letters in each name that he had written down for them to learn from. It seemed as if repeating things is what got it to stick for them at least thus far. When the offer came for them to write the things on their own they nodded. This time Cheryl was the one most enthused about the lesson, "Yes please! I want to learn how to write and then I'll teach Robbie!"

Mrrh nodded his head and then offered Cheryl the crayon he was using. OF course...she had her own crayon but it felt like he needed to some deep part of him the paternal part of him he wasn't even aware of having wanted to see these kids succeed...and not turn out like him.

"Good good, how about we draw Anon a nice picture with your names on them?"

She seemed happy to take the crayon to scribble out the names as she had been shown, other than a couple of backwards letters she did rather well and had little reservations about her mistakes. Cheryl then handed it to Harry who seemed to struggle a little more with the letters but soon he got it down and then the twins nodded, "We wanna draw pictures for Daddy and you!" they chimed together. It was one thing that was easily agreed on, "Maybe Uncle Jack too!" Cheryl said with a small smile.

Uncle Jack..right right. Mrrh tended to forget the fellow as he hardly dealt with the man. "er yeah sure you guys can draw him a picture too. I am sure Anon would be really proud of you both if you did." He commented feeling weird as the kids referred to Anon as daddy and he just was Anon to him. Taking a deep breath he squeezed his arm as if to remind himself that he was just 'uncle stitches' to them. Only that.

"Sound good? Need more colors Cheryl?" He inquired wondering if the girl would want a whole array of colors.

Cheryl nodded happily and directed where to put the colors on the table, "Right there so Harry can reach 'em too," she said in a pleased tone. She was sharing with her brother and she was being a good girl and drawing things for everyone that they knew in their small world!

Harry seemed content to let Cheryl call the shots for now and nodded a bit, "Yah~. What is your favorite color Uncle Stitches?" he asked curiously as he moved a bit closer so he can that much more access to the colors when they are placed down.

Mrrh moved the crayons so that both could reach them before he sat down before them and watched as they began to work. He was a bit surprised when Harry asked him his favorite color.

"Red." He blurted out before thinking...right...Anon would be mad at him if he knew why that was his favorite color. Ah well too late now right?

Harry nodded and took up the red crayon and settled in to start practicing his lettering and drawing and Cheryl did the same starting on her picture for Daddy first. The two fell silent quietly talking to each other in strange words and dialects that seemed to make no sense happy that Uncle Stitches was there to watch over them as they worked.

Soon they were done with all the pictures and things they wanted to draw and they showed off their hard work to Mrrh.

Mrrh tried to not look directly at the crayon...recalling how much red..he had seen in his life was a bad idea...and Anon was going to be mad at him. He quite honestly hadn't meant to blurt out that color..any other color would of been better than red. Even pink at this point.

Then he was forced to look at them. After all it would be rude to just dismiss their hard work and he had to look at them both.
"Tho..hose are great." He choked looking at at Harry's before moving onto Cheryl's. "I am sure Anon will be happy to recieve em."

There was a moment of conference between them before they finally shoved forward the pictures they drew of Anon, "For you because you love Daddy," they both said quite bluntly. Who wouldn't love their Daddy? He was a wonderful and awesome individual though the way they assume Mrrh loved their Daddy was probably very different but still.

Sure they would have to give Uncle Jack his own picture but there was nothing wrong with that! Nope. They wiggled a bit and waited for Mrrh to accept their gifts.

Mrrh was once again thrown. Wow these children were receptive weren't they? They knew he liked Anon, perhaps not quite as much as he really did but they did pick up on it.
"Ah well thank you. I d..o like your daddy a lot..." He murmured quietly to them as if afraid that Anon could walk in on them any moment. "But don't tell your daddy that.." he whispered giving them a wink.

Cheryl parted her lips and tilted her head, "But I tell Daddy I love him all the time," she explained but shrugged. Harry was certain to keep the secret for he only nodded when Mrrh asked them to keep it to themselves.

The small girl reached up and rubbed at her eyes quietly with her forearm, "Uncle Stitches...Will you nap with us?" Harry uttered a small yawn as his sister talked to show that he also felt a bit tired. Neither of them really expected the youth to stay with them for the entire time but to sleep with them nearby was good enough.

Mrrh gave a small sad smile, sure the kids could say they loved Anon all they wanted, they were his kids. It wasn't quite so easy for him to say it...and have it mean the same thing.

"Its a bit more complicated..." He explained to Cheryl before he nodded his head at the idea of napping. All this school work was making his head hurt.

"Sure..a nap sounds good." he agreed as he went to put away the paper and crayons.

"It is compl.....whatsit...I see," Harry said as the pair went about helping with putting things away as best as they could. Handing over crayons and whatever Mrrh needed to put away since it was usually put out of their reach to prevent at least a little of their mischief.

After the last bit of it was put away, Cheryl with Robbie in her arms wandered over to Mrrh and held up her arms to him, "Hugs before nap?"

Harry stood a bit behind Cheryl hugging onto James.

Mrrh stood there awkwardly looking as Cheryl stood there wanting a hug. From him? After a moments pause he bent down and picked her up and hugged her. It...was so weird. The only other kid he every picked up was Roxy and she was...still older than Cheryl was. He felt a small warmth blossom in his chest, it was odd...he had..so much more now. Anon, the kids...a means to his life. After a moment...he brushed Cheryl's hair out of her face and gave her a small kiss on her temple before he went to put her in their bed. He then went and offered hug to Harry if he wanted it.

Cheryl let out a happy sound as he hugged her and then returned the hug. She popped a kiss onto his cheek before he retreated entirely very happy about the kiss at the temple. She then settled into the spot Mrrh placed her. Harry was a little shyer for a moment before he opened his arms and moved to hug Mrrh, "Love you," he murmured softly as he hugged. It was heartfelt and real as anything else the twins said, they seemed unwilling to lie about anything.

Mrrh felt his heart thud...really? It was so hard to not like the kids or get attached to them. "Love you too.." he murmured, it was easier than saying it to Anon for some reason...perhaps because they were just children? Picking him up he then moved him to lay beside his sibling before taking off his cape and dropping it over them "Nap well you two."

They were comfortable under the cape as they lay next to each other. It smelled of things that were safe and happy at least to them. They nodded and yawned and it didn't take long before the two drifted off to sleep together happy in the fact that they were loved by at least the unit they considered a family.
