Personality: Masaru is shown to be an individual who is well collected and very calm. He is also very kind and caring towards the people of the hidden leaf, along with a deep sense of loyalty. In battle he remains calm, collected, insightful as well. And to top it off he never underestimates his opponents regardless who they are. He sees the village as his family, and will do what it takes to protect them. He doesn't like betrayal and those who commit hideous acts due to having a strong sense of justice.

Backstory:

Chapter One: A New Beginning
Masaru's parents were of the legendary Senju Clan. His mother and father being old fashioned, they often told him stories of the clan before the village was ever made. Often, he heard alot about Harashisama Senju, the first hokage. Masaru always paid attention, always fascinated about the Senju who led his people into many battles, most are with the Uchiha Clan. And then how he became the 1st Hokage, and the most powerful shinobi in his time. How he even defeated Madara Uchiha and the Nine Tail Demon Fox at the same time. It was around this time, which Masaru was only Four, that he decided on the career he wanted. He wanted to follow in the same footsteps as Harashisama had, the path of becoming Hokage and carrying on the Hokage name as well as his legacy, the Will of Fire.

Chapter Two: Life at the Academy
When he was five years of age he joined the academy, where he trained and studied hard to make the top grades. He strived to be the best he can be, even pushing his own limits to set new ones. Even on days he didn't have class he trained with shurikens and kunais, and practiced his mokuton abilities. Some of the kids wondered why didn't he play when he has the chance. Usually, he would reply with "I plan to be just like my ancestor, Harashisama." But even then, every now and then he did go out and play. He had a childhood for so long, might as well enjoy it before there wouldn't be any time left for it. After two years, he graduated at the age of seven. His mother and father was proud. Some of the elders of the Senju clan said he is starting to bare a similar resemblence to Harashisama.

Chapter Three: The Road of shinobi-hood - Genin
When he became a genin, he started right away. With his squad they eagerly took on missions no matter how small or how big. As what they said, take what you can and leave nothing behind. Knowing the chunin exams would be arriving, he also trained harder. Often his sensei would have them spar each other to practice. Masaru's mokuton skills have grown indefinitely, which his sensei also helped him train in his elements of water and earth. Their squad was among the top five, and the chunin exams were nearly here. By the time they signed up, Masaru completed 35 D rank missions and 28 C rank missions, about 10 B rank missions. The Hokage at the time was astounded that Masaru and his squad was able to do so many missions successfully.

Chapter Four: Chunin Exams
The first course of the exam was written, which Masaru didn't have much of a problem. When getting the paper he managed to answer some of them, but the rest he had to think hard on. The proctor said to be like ninja....they had to cheat. At first, he couldn't think of how to do this. Water would be noticeable. However, the paper, he thought, was made from trees. And if they are from trees, they have wood in them. Using his chakra he followed the movements of the pencil that wrote on the wood, managing to answer the rest of the questions. As soon as the first part was finished, the second proctor arrived with two sets of scrolls, one white and one black. The next stage was held in the forest of death. The objective, to reach the tower in the center after obtaining both sets of scrolls. And not look into it.

Nindo: "Always look out for your squad mates. if you dont, then your as good as dead."

Personality: Rena is mostly calm and never usually panics unless he absolutely has to. he is very friendly and tends to be laid-back and easy to train.

Backstory: Rena has been alone since he was very little. his parents abbandoned him one day on the street corner. they said they were just going to say high to some friends so Rena stayed right on the corner. he waited for nearly four hours before he finally looked around the corner and saw that they were gone. And when he went to go home, his house had suddenly caught on fire and his parents were no where to be found. Eventually Rena got used to living on the streets and in the parks alone, he also got used to hunting and looking through trash for food. Soon after his eight piercing (four piercings on both ears) and after getting the tattoo across his face he finally passed the grand elder Fox's test and became the official Sage for Fox summoning. Now Rena lives a hard life in Konoha and will be attending the academy for the first time.

Well after going through a hectic time at the Academy and meeting lots of interesting people Rena finally graduated and is now starting his life as a Genin and shall begin his rise up the ranks to his Anbu goal.

Description: Boil Release: Boiling Clone is a Ninjutsu technique used by Rena Kitsune. This technique allows Rena to create a clone composed of both of his elements (Fire and Water). This clone looks exactly like the original and even has its own supply of chakra (can only use ether 1 fire jutsu the user knows or 1 water jutsu the user knows) similar to that of a Shadow Clone. This clone is solid so it can pack a punch and will disperse into steam after being hit once, just like a Shadow Clone.

Description: Boil Release: Hot Spring is a basic Boil Release technique. after preforming the necessary hand signs the user will summon a large pool of boiling hot water underneath them for a limited time (covers whole field for 10 posts). Also, every post this jutsu is active the water temperature increases by 2 degrees (water stars at 212 degrees Fahrenheit).

Description: After doing the necessary hand signs the user will trap their target in a bubble and fill it with luke warm water, there will be a small air pocket at the top of the bubble where the opponent can breath to keep themselves alive. they will then snap their fingers and the water in the bubble will start to get warmer till it is capable of roasting the foe alive (bubble will start at luke warm then will increase by 10 degrees each time the user snapped their fingers.). The only way the opponent can be freed is if someone on the outside hit the bubble with a A-rank attack or higher.

Description: Mei Terumī the Fifth Mizukage uses her Boil Release to create a cloud of mist which she releases from her mouth. This mist has corrosive properties, capable of even melting the bones of the Susanoo. The technique has an inherent disadvantage in that its effects are indiscriminate, limiting its usage to areas that do not presently contain allies until the attack is completed. In the event that the mist escapes the containment area, thus putting others in danger, the Fifth Mizukage has suggested that the technique can be sufficiently manipulated to limit its acidic qualities to safer levels. Though the mist is corrosive to all around it, the user seems to be immune to it, as Mei used it in an enclosed area without endangering herself.

Description: Fox summoners are often prized for their sneakiness and cunning. Even if they aren't an stealth/assassin-type ninja, they can still sneak around as easily as one thanks to all of the time that they spend around the mischievous foxes, especially during their trial period. For tactical shinobi, Stealth is a passive ability of fox summoners that is just as effective as the stealth of a ninja with the stealth/assassin attribute and costs absolutely no chakra to activate. For the others, this skill uses up an E-rank amount of chakra for every other post it's used in. Note that Stealth only allows the user to hide better, it does not give out any other benefits.

Name: Kitsune-bi
Rank: D
Description: Able to take any shape and form, Kitsune-bi (fox fire/will-o-wisp) is a kitsune's main weapon. Although it could be used to cause minor burns and such, its true use is for creating and initiating illusions. The fire doesn't emit a scent or a sound but it does emit warmth, can be seen, and has an unique energy that attracts anyone who is close enough to it. Fox summoner's are able to utilize this will-o-wisp blue fire in its most basic functions with just D-rank chakra: provide warmth, provide a light that can only be seen by a select few, and provide a momentary distraction.

Description: By summoning the Kitsune-bi of certain summons, a summoner can utilize all of the effects of that version of fox-fire without having to summon the fox that the fire belongs to. This summon does not require a blood tribute and can be used with a single hand seal and announcing (or thinking in the case of those shinobi who don't need to say the name of their technique) the name of the fox that the fire belongs to.

Description: Instead of having the summon appear where they are, summoners can instead cause themselves to appear where their summon is by performing a reverse summoning themselves. It is also possible for summons to summon other summons themselves, which drains upon the chakra of the summon rather than the chakra of the summoner. This technique can not be used to escape from a battle.

Description: This jutsu summons up a replica kitsune udon cart of the B-rank kitsune udon shop summon. Anyone who sees the shop or comes close enough to smell the udon from it immediately falls into a genjutsu that makes the cart appear as a completely normal food cart with a completely normal cook and his assistant son. The illusion appears real in every sense, even chakra-wise, and completely hides the user from detection as he/she listens in on the conversation between the genjutsu created servers and the people that fell into the trap.

Description: Fox fur is what protects foxes from fire jutsus and their own fire in particular. By summoning a cloak or some other form of this fox fur (ex: arm guards, etc.), the summoner gains the same resistance to fire as the fox summons. This technique is often used in preparation for attacks with the offensive version of the summoner's kitsune-bi.

Being a flame of purgatory that is belongs more to the realm of the spirits than to the realm of the physical, aggressive kitsune-bi, which is the only kind that summoners can make themselves, burns at the cellular level. While this fire can easily be shot out from the mouth like any other fire technique with absolutely no harm on the user seeing how the flame is created outside of the mouth, touching it after it is made will cause destruction on the cellular level, even to fox summoners. This becomes a problem to those who prefer to use it as a stationary flame-blade of shorts, and is often fixed by covering whatever part of the body that will touch the flame with fox fur.

Name: Imprisonment

Description: A sealing technique that can be used to trap and contain any shinobis for later questioning, Imprisonment is more of an extremely forceful reverse summoning than an actual sealing technique, which allows any kitsune summoner to learn the jutsu. After inscribing a complicated but incomplete seal on a scroll, the summoner will then surround his/her target with the scroll in one way or another and perform a series of hand signs. The scroll and hand signs will take one post to prepare, during which the seal that was on the scroll will appear on the ground below the scroll along with the missing center part. During the second post, as the seal gains power, a wall of kitsune-bi and chakra will completely surround the target in a sphere that prevents any underground escape. Only an S-ranked jutsu or technique is capable of breaking these walls and, even then, taking too long will still result in the target successfully being summoned to and restrained completely in the realm of the kitsunes by the third post of the jutsu. Unless the scroll is destroyed before the hand signs are formed--which takes only a second or two for the average jounin--destroying the source of the seal will do nothing to stop Imprisonment. As another element of surprise, the range of the seal is not what it seems either. While it only affects the target, no matter who else happens to be in the range of the seal, the target has to be at least 20 meters away from the center of the seal before he/she is free of the jutsu. After the seal is complete, the target can be brought back to the human realm in a location of the user's choosing, restrained in such a way that they are unable to do anything other than talk, by summoning him/her as if he/she was any other summon.

Personality: Coco is not a woman who wears her mind on her sleeve unless she is comfortable around a person. She is often very deceptive and will work to be what other people want just so she can succeed in screwing with their minds.

Backstory: Chocolate was born to Elias and Isis Delacroix. As a young girl she was taught to be a performer. Her early lessons included violin lessons in the small French town that they lived in. It was always peaceful in this town. Even the animals around the area seemed to be so enchanted with the beauty that they would not kill within the town limits.

It was paradise in a word. People lived happily with one another for some time. During this time, while Chocolate was learning, she met her childhood friend Leif. They were the best of friends and when Chocolate played the violin for those listening, Leif would play the flute. The two could often be seen outside of establishments playing for the crowds in their spare time.

This was the time that Chocolate will never forget. Unfortunately, evil was lurking in the town. A strange man from the east had come to her town in order to find a new life. Unfortunately, he was followed by more of his kind. By this time Chocolate was fourteen years of age.

When the men found their target, they didn't hesitate in attacking. Such power that came from them had never been seen by the people in the village and while others ran in fear, Chocolate was worried about her friend and her parents. She hurried to Leif's home first since it was closest and found he was the only one still alive. She helped him from the burning house before rushing to her own home. The two young children rushed inside to see her mother and father laying dead, support beams from their home had crushed them.

As the two children turned to leave, they ran into one of these ninja. Leif, in a valient attempt to protect his friend, was killed before Chocolate's eyes. Before the rogue ninja could finish his work on Coco, he was killed by the ninja that had come here seeking peace. The middle aged man took Chocolate and fled the town, leaving it behind.

Days passed and the two continued to journey, not saying a word. He was ashamed because of what his fleeing had brought to the poor people of the village, and Coco was too devastated to say much of anything. Even if she did, what would she say? It was his fault but he was also the best chance she had of surviving.

Once they came to another town, he offered to set Chocolate up in an orphenage, but she wasn't having it. Chocolate wanted to learn the skills those men knew so she could avenge the death of not only her parents, but Leif as well.

He seemed disapproved at what she was requesting, but offered to take her to the country where ninja's live. This journey took months on foot. But they finally came to the land of Ninja. But before Coco could turn and thank her friend, he was gone.

She wandered into Konoha and spent her first year just learning the language of the people. She found there was a ninja academy and signed up. She hopes to be one of the best and most feared ninja out there so she can avenge those who didn't make it.

After spending some time in Konoha, Coco met a young man named Tenketsu. The two of them became fast friends and even faster bedmates. Though neither of them spoke of this outside of the bedroom. Meaning their relationship is pretty much just friends to everyone else. However, Tenketsu left and Coco hadn't seen him in a while. She doesn't know what happened to him, but secretly hopes that he will return someday.

Coco had the makings of a great Hokage, despite her sexual nature. The woman seemed to use her body to get what she wanted. So it didn't come as much of a surprise when she was appointed to Hokage.

Description: This is a simple genjutsu that causes the opponent to see doubles of everything.

Ikamono Chishio (Fake blood)
Description: This genjutsu can create fake blood and wounds on the user’s body to fool the enemy that he/she is wounded. The illusion is only visual; it cannot trick the sense of smell.
Suiganmourou no Jutsu (Drunken Sight Technique)
Description: A basic technique that makes the opponent see the world around him in a blur, as if drunk.

Magen: Kokuni Arazu No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique)
Description: An illusion technique which disguises the surroundings as something else. For instance, you can make a classroom number that actually is room 201 appears as room 301... This will only work on targets no bigger than an adult man.

Magen: Narakumi No Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Vision of Hell Technique)
Description: A low level illusion skill, which makes the opponent envision a very traumatic scene. After being put in some form of trance by leaves, grass, flower petals, and dust flying in front of the eyes, the target creates this vision himself. The jutsu only forces the target to think about the worst event possible for them, and then capitalizes on that by showing it happen.


(Chuunin)
Nemuri (Sleep)
Descripiton: A genjutsu technique where the ninja places their hand on their target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. A useful technique when subterfuge is involved with a mission, but utterly useless in combat.

Nise Shookanjoo No Jutsu (False Summons Technique)
Description: This crafty technique has the user mimic the hand gestures used to perform a summon; however, nothing is actually summoned except for an incredibly lifelike illusion shaped to the caster's will. Since the only thing being created is a chakra projection and not flesh, this genjutsu can be used by lower level shinobi who would normally not have the skills to perform an actual summon. The catch is that the shinobi's genjutsu skills will determine the size and detail of the chakra projection. (A genin might be able to create a false summons of a tracking dog, while a jounin could create a false summons of Gamabunta himself). The illusion is extraordinarily lifelike, in fact is indistinguishable from the real McCoy (of course, not to the Byakugan or Sharingan); its movements are controlled directly by the shinobi. If attacked, the chakra projection will stay there, but any decent ninja would figure out it's an illusion and simply ignore it then. The best use of this technique would be for intimidation or as a bluff ("that punk kid shouldn't be able to summon THAT! He must be a genius!").

Note: Making an illusion of higher level summoning can only be done by jounin-ranked genjutsu specialists. Anyone else is limited to medium-sized summons at best (Orochimaru's snakes at the Forest of Death, for example)

Ataeru Kanjoo No Jutsu (Inflict Emotion Technique) Description: This is a fairly high level genjutsu where the shinobi temporarily changes the emotions of the target to his/her liking. The emotions imparted can be anything from ecstasy, despair, overconfidence, grief, etc. One would be advised against using this technique on teammates, however. After the effect has passed, the victim remembers the one who used the technique, and almost always with hostility.


Suguni Ouda (Instant Strike)
Description: For this technique the user must have eye contact with the target. A single hand seal is formed and the user vanishes with a loud bang. In an instant the user is standing in front of the target, a weapon (such as a kunai or katana) plunged into the opponent's body. The opponent feels a blast of pain and the shock of being stabbed, but then the illusion of the user vanishes, revealing it was merely genjutsu. This technique means to paralyze the target in temporary terror.



(Jounin)
Genmu no Henshuubyou (Visions of Paranoia) Description: This is an area effect that once the victim(s) have entered the area, for four posts they start to think that there are things watching them. The area effect makes it looks like there are shinobi in the trees or hiding. When seen through the corner of the eye they are there, yet upon moving the head to pinpoint the spies they seem to vanish. The technique stays even in a combat situation, and can be lethally distracting for the enemy.

Naisenranki no Jutsu (Internal Spawn Technique)
Description: Once that target is caught in the genjutsu (by seeing the user perform sealing) they begin to feel something moving inside of them. In a few moments slimy, blood covered tentacles come out of every orifice (mouth, nose, ears, eyes anything else in your imagination, wounds) in their body. It tastes like blood and many other bodily fluids (and makes strange squelching sounds). One of the effects is causing a gagging reflex. This gives the feeling of a helpless sort of weakening on the body.

Nehan Shouja No Jutsu (Salvation Temple Technique) Description: A high level illusion skill which is capable of putting a large crowd of people into a deep sleep, using imaginary feathers and chakra.

Enmaku no Jutsu (Smokescreen Technique) Description: Forming the hands into a seal, the user fills up the area with an illusionary smokescreen, impossible to penetrate with the eyes or ears. Only the user is not affected, and can use this as a perfect escape plan, or even an attacking strategy. However, the smoke cannot be felt or smelled, which may cause the enemy to realize it is an illusionary smokescreen.

Hyoukai Nikutai no Jutsu (Melting Flesh Skill) Description: Upon watching the user form the necessary hand seals, the victim will see many chains suddenly surround and bind him to the ground, upright. Slowly, he will feel the flesh on his bones melt and drip to the floor, all over, on his limbs and torso and face. There is a great deal of illusionary pain involved, of course… Even after the effects are over, the victim feels compelled to pat himself, just to make sure he isn’t really melting.




(Sannin/Kage)
Chishio Kayumi no Jutsu (Blood Itch Technique) Prerequisite: Naisenranki no Jutsu (Internal Spawn)
Description: This requires eye contact with the enemy. Immediately after, the victim feels an incredible itching all over his body, and invariably, he will begin to scratch. Yet, the scratching both alleviates and heightens the itching sensation. The victim scratches harder, reddening his skin, and then harder still, eventually tearing some of his clothing and right into his own flesh. Still, the itching doesn’t stop—it seems to be taunting him right from his very core. The technique ends by itself after three posts; by then the victim will have scratched himself into quite the quivering, bloody mess. More than one shinobi to fall under this genjutsu has clawed himself right down to the bone.

Tataki Nouzui (Mince Meat Brain) Description: This requires the user to make physical contact with the head region of the intended victim, even if it is just a tap on the back of the head. After, the enemy will feel the urge to sneeze, and will do so… but wait! What is that on his hands and the ground?

To the victim, he will see a tiny puddle of slimy, slightly translucent fluid with little bits of pale-pink, squishy meat, and he realizes to his horror that he’s just sneezed out a bit of his brain. Shocked, the genjutsu induces the victim to sneeze yet again, expelling more of his brain through his nose and mouth. The more panicked he becomes, the more he sneezes. Though there is little pain involved, being exposed to this genjutsu for too long may reduce the victim to an incoherent babbling mess, so convinced is he that he’s sneezed half his brains out. Proper counseling might help, if such is the case.

Jissei Muma no Jutsu (True Nightmare Technique) Prerequisite: Nemuri (Sleep)
Description: This technique requires physical contact with the victim before it can take hold, and even then, it will only show itself after the victim has fallen asleep, whether by force of jutsu or naturally. In this nightmare, he dreams of being attacked and shredded by wild beasts, monsters, demons, perhaps all three, and amazingly, he can feel the pain from his injuries but will not wake up. The screams from this sleeping torture are chilling to hear. After waking up, he may be afraid to sleep for several weeks.

(Basic)
Yurayura Ranpu no Jutsu (Flickering Light Technique)
Description: Charging electrical chakra throughout the Cloud-Nin's entire body the shinobi makes his skin light up giving it a bright glow that can allow him to see it a night. With an additional five control one can control this bright glow to make the light flicker, using it as a code or a signal. An additional five power allows the user to create a flicker so bright it can disable anyone who looks directly at him for a post.

Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Clone Technique) Description: This technique makes a simple clone of the shinobi however unlike the standard bunshin, which is a genjutsu, this bunshin takes an actual physical form through the use of electrically charged chakra. One can easily touch and hold this clone like it was in fact an actual person, however when it is attacked it quickly disperses into smoky, hot air. It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however it's ability to attack is around 1/10 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness it's attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body.

Seiteki Suji no Jutsu (Static Strings Technique)
Description: This skill allows the user to create strings of electricity that can either act physically as strings, or as a medium that can send small shocks to an opponent. One of this technique's most useful features is its ability to allow the user to detect outsiders. When the strings are placed around an area, they are often fairly difficult to see, and unnoticed by the quick eye. But when the string is used to detect outsiders, they can adapt a quality that is string-like and electrical at the same time. This quality makes the static strings into a string of electricity, but with such a weak current that it is rarely noticed by Shinobi who accidentally walk through the strings. However, when this happens, the user at once will feel a small shock in their fingers, or where ever else they are keeping the strings intact. But unless the opponent felt the weak current as they walked through the strings, the opponent will usually never know the strings were there. But beyond its ability to detect outsiders, this skill can be used as a normal string when it is needed but none is around, or it can be used to create small shocks to other people. However, the shocks are only a little bit stronger than static electricity, and usually do no damage at all.

Teikou no Kuntou (Electricity Resistance Training) Description: While not necessarily a technique that must be taken, most Cloud-nin are taught this at the Academy. As most know electricity in general is a deadly and somewhat scarce element, generally one could only collect the necessary electricity necessary to perform techniques if they were fighting in the middle of a thunderstorm, or near an electrical source. However current training standards in the academy show how a cloud-nin tends to make electricity through the use of chakra, turning most Cloud-nin in to human capacitors, technically. The process is generally quite painful and requires about 5 months of mental and physical conditioning to resist the charges you activate onto your body. As it is written, this technique is optional. A person who doesn't take this skill will generally feel pain when even performing their own electricity based techniques, also one who tends to take this ability tends to notice that minor shocks generally do not hurt them as badly.

(Genin)

Heki no Jutsu (Burst Technique)
Description: An overall simple move that is generally taught to genin to assist in generating and controlling chakra for the sake of ninjutsu, the shinobi vents electric chakra from his entire body, causing anyone that touches or attacks him to receive minor electrical shocks and burns. The shinobi cannot move while in this state.

Kumo Keba no Jutsu (Cloud Wisp Technique)
Description: A scouting technique forming warm air into his hands the Cloud-Nin creates a cloud that is infused with chakra, the entire process takes a post in itself, after forming the cloud the nin loses all form of mental consciousness and the cloud flies away. This little wispling of cloud is now controlled by the nin who has lost consciousness it hears and sees all that is near the cloud. More often times then not the ghosts many foreign shinobi claimed to of seen in The Gate is nothing more then a shinobi using this technique, the wispling looks like a slight misty ball and some could even see the face of the nin form into it giving it a more ghost-like appearance. Destroying it is very easy, physical attacks, ninjutsu almost anything can dispel the technique returning the nin to consciousness, but a horrible weakness this wisp does have is that if one were to use genjutsu on the probe it immediately dispels and the user is afflicted with the genjutsu that was used without even knowing it.

Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill)
Description: An overall simple yet very effective technique, the Cloud-nin creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his own weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.

Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Bolt Technique) Description: A simple technique in concept and execution, in which the user performs the necessary handseals and then emits a short bolt of lightning from his or her hand. This is a simple bolt, akin to a fireball, as opposed to being a continuous stream. On impact, the target will suffer minor electric shocks.

Raikou Henge no Jutsu (Lightning Transformation Technique) Description: This technique, while being a branch of Henge no Jutsu, allows the user to transform in a way they never dreamed of. When performing this skill, the user transforms into an extremely quick 'strand' of lightning. In this quick state, nothing is done slowly - everything is in a rush for the user. However, this strand of lightning is incapable of changing directions on its own. It can only change directions by bouncing off another object, such as a tree or a boulder, but the user is capable of bouncing off in any angle they wish to. It is not recommended using this technique in a field with little objects to bounce off of. The Henge automatically dissipates when the user makes contact with a living target. Being in a state similar to lightning, the user plunges completely into their target, and ends up in their physical state on the other side of their opponent. In addition to giving the target a painful electrical shock, this skill may or may not paralyze their opponent. Because of the fast speeds associated with this skill, the user will feel dizzy, confused, and often nauseous for some time afterwards.
Note: This technique can be used in conjunction with other jutsu, such as the Call of Lightning Technique, or the Lightning Clone Technique, to confuse the opponent. However, no skills can be used in this state.

(Chuunin)
Raiton: Yaiba no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Blade Technique)
Description: This skill allows the user to charge chakra in the form of electricity in the palm. Then, the chakra eventually works up to the fingers, where a blade of electricity is formed between the index and middle finger. The blade is very thin, and depending on the user's chakra, anywhere from 8 inches to a foot long. It is around 2 to 3 inches wide, and it lacks a hilt. The blade is held between the fingers, but as soon as it is let go, the blade vanishes into thin air. The strength of this blade isn't as strong as a normal blade, as it is nowhere as dense or as heavy. But because the blade is very thin, it is capable of doing some major damage, if used properly. However, this blade can also hurt the user, anywhere except for the fingers where the blade is held.

Dendou Kariyou no Jutsu (Electric Overdose Technique) Description: The user takes one post to channel a large amount of electricity into a limb, making the chakra visible. Upon contact with the opponent, the electricity is shot into him and the target’s weight almost doubles, making it harder for the victim to move.

Kumo Tate no Jutsu (Cloud Shield Technique) Description: After flashing a series of hand seals the shinobi uses chakra to condense the air immediately in front of him into a thick, chakra-embedded barrier made of cloud. These barrier blocks particular weapon attacks that are coming straight ahead, and will also block ninjutsu-based projectiles that are at the same power as the shield.

Raiton: Raikou Hitofuki no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Blast Technique) Description: An upgraded version of Lightning Bolt, this jutsu works the same way except now it is a continuous blast of electricity. The blast can be ended prematurely by the user. A target hit by this technique will experience quite painful electric shocks, however they are still relatively minor.

Kanri Soushitsu no Jutsu (Control Loss Technique)
Description: A rather sophomoric skill in itself forming electricity into the primary hand of the Cloud-Nin the shinobi delivers a full on palm strike to the body, the voltage of this particular technique is considered high enough that the target generally loses control of the bowels and bladder causing a rather distracting mess in their undergarments. Obviously the catch is however that one has to be hit by the palm strike to fall victim to this immature tactic.

Raiton: Raikou Shunshin (Lightning Release: Lightning Instantaneous) Description: When performing this technique, the user does a single seal, (Bird), and the user disappears in a wisp of electricity. The maximum the user can travel is a radius of 1 mile from where they are standing, but they must be able to visualize the area in their head. This technique can be used in escaping combat, and also to travel to some extent. However, when this is used to escape combat, this cannot be used when the user is attacked or is attacking.

Hikuhiku Eda no Jutsu (Twitching Limb Technique) Description: An off-shoot of the Electric Overdose Technique, after the user channels a large amount of electricity in to his hand, making the chakra visible, the user can attack a specific body area of his opponent and fire electricity into it once. Whatever area is struck the muscles immediately begin to constrict and twitch in extreme pain and causes the limb to be unable to move.

Dendou Hari Hirogari no Jutsu (Electric Needle Spread Technique) Description: Generally used as a ranged defensive maneuver when a Cloud-nin wishes to hit multiple targets in front of him. First, he begins to grow electricity-based needles all over the front area of his body. Anyone using a taijutsu on him, between now and when he attacks, from the front side will get a slight sting, attacking from the sides or from the back is still effective however. Once the needles have grown the user then flashes one hand seal and all the electric needles launch themselves in a front spreading maneuver towards anyone in their way. Anyone who is hit by the needles receives a nasty shock and slight numbness to the afflicted part.

Raiton: Raikou Kousen no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Beam Technique) Description: This is the pinnacle of the single-target ranged lightning jutsu. The attack from Lightning Blast has been upgraded further, making it into a beam twice as wide as before, and much more damaging. Targets hit head-on with this jutsu will experience a fantastic amount of pain and be stunned after the jutsu ends. Also, nearly missing with this jutsu also has some effect. Because of the high amount of voltage, small lightning bolts can arc from the beam to someone standing within two feet of it, causing shocks a little bit more damaging than those of Lightning Bolt technique. This jutsu can be ended prematurely by the user.

Dendou Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Electric Detonation Technique) Descriptions: Flashing a number of Hand seals the user causes all lightning bunshins that are under his specific control to explode into a burst of electricity, shocking anyone that happens to be near them.

Rensa Raikou no Jutsu (Chain Lightning Technique) Description: A useful technique generally used in an attempt to take out a group of enemies by surprise. Forming electricity into both hands the Cloud Nin launches a continuous stream of Lightning at one opponent, if the technique hits one person it immediately launches itself at the next non-friendly person in range. The lightning chain specifically targets water that is found in the body, so bunshins are generally left untouched unless it's a Water Bunshin. The original number of targets this jutsu can initially hit is three.

Dendou Kaitengi no Jutsu (Electric Gyroscope Technique)
Description: This technique offers the user both offensive and defensive capabilities, presenting some interesting strategic options. The user forms the necessary handseals and, by focusing his chakra, creates a pair of rings of electricity around himself, that spin about like a gyroscope, maintaining a constant electric field throughout its radius, which is half a meter from the user. If anything from outside attempts to enter this radius, the rings will shoot a blast of electricity potent enough to knock back a person and completely deflect any projectile. The shield will effectively block any taijutsu weaker attacks, and any weaker ninjutsu attacks. An attacker using a strong taijutsu will be able to enter the radius of the gyroscope, but will still suffer an electric shock as he enters. The user is able to move around while the shield is active, however at a slightly slower speed.

Yobigoe no Raikou no Jutsu (Call of Lightning Technique)
Description: A dangerous technique not only in the sense of it's power but also by it the fact of its inability to be controlled. Forming the necessary hand seals the shinobi begins to collect mist in his immediate area much like Kirigakure no Jutsu, however it begins to rise and form into a thunderstorm cloud instead of laying dormant like mist does. Now powered by chakra the cloud will begin to strike random nin with lightning, the power of this lighting has the ability to cause massive third-degree burns, majorly constricted breathing, and possible fibrillation. This technique lasts for 10 minutes.

Kyuutai Tate no Jutsu (Sphere Shield Technique)
Description: Circulating electrically charged chakra around the entire area of the body the user is now able to push this chakra out of their body forming a personal-range electric sphere of defense that covers all angles and even overhead. Anyone who is attempting to break the shield with a taijutsu attack will be given a shock capable of leaving a third degree-burn and pushed back, any type of thrown weapon is immediately blocked as well. The shield can also deflect most ninjutsu attacks. The downside of this is that the user is unable to move while the shield is active.

Dendou Enmu no Jutsu (Electric Fog Technique) Description: A two part technique that can cover a large amount of area or hit one person specificaly, first performing a few hand seals the shinobi blankets the area in a natural, cloudy fog ending his first post. The fog in itself is not very thick, one could essentially see through it and very much fight as if they were not in fog at all. However once this fog has been summoned the Cloud-Nin, now on his next post, is able to fire at one target or a number of targets indirectly by sending an electrical current through the droplets of condensed water that composes this fog esentially creating a series of small, but powerful, electrical shocks and as such vaporizing the fog. These shocks esentially can cause physical debilitation and at worse unconciousness.
Note: The first part of this technique can be essentially avoided if fog exists in the immediate vicinity or Kirigakure no Jutsu (by way of ninjutusu) has been used. However by performing this technique by such methods will cause the essential water vapors to disappear. If done by method of Kirigakure no Jutsu, the technique still occurrs and the mist is still very debilitating but it is unable to maintain the charge for the jutsu to be used via the Kirigakure again, and as such, fog must be created for the user to perform the jutsu again.

Sai Sen no Jutsu (Rewire Technique)
Description: Making physical contact with an enemy shinobi the Cloud-Nin shoves Static Strings into his opponent and himself, by hotwiring the electrical impulses of the target's brain he disables the target and assumes control of the opponent's body. While in this state the shinobi can only control the target body and has little control over his own body which will remain standing in place. Major problems with this technique is that by severing the strings you break the connection between the target and the Cloud-nin, also the maximum range the controlled body can move from the original body is 50 feet, otherwise the strings will break.

(Sannin/Kage)
Hando no Semeku (Hands of Torture) Descriptions: Considered by most to be more of a torture technique then an actual attack the user can lay his hands on his opponent and send several thousands of volts of electricity into the target. Depending how many times a Cloud-Nin has hit the opponent with this will depend on what happens. One time of being hit by this technique causes minor burns, chest constrictions, blurred vision, and overall pain. An additional time of being hit by this any other time during the battle will cause on-site second-degree burns, partial blindness, and an inability to breathe. A third case of exposure will cause a third degree burn on the spot that the hands touched and will cause major orificial hemorrhaging cause by internal bleeding, and unconsciousness. The fourth exposure causes death, and pretty much leaves the area smelling like burnt flesh.

Kouten no Saiketsu (Heaven's Judgement)
Description: A technique that causes overall destruction and chaos, performing a number of seals a large spinning tube of lightning launches itself out of the user's body and speeds away in the direction that the Cloud-Nin was facing. Going at a particularly high speed this tube begins to tear up all peices of land it touch and bores large holes through anything that has the horrible chance of being in front of it and then explodes in a huge burst of electricity essentially electrocuting anyone within close proximity of the explosion.

Shina no Kourin (The Descent of Shina)
Description: A technique used generally to remove a huge group of nins or to breach a heavily guarded section of wall. After fully charging all chakra and then doing nothing but hand seals the Cloud-Nin is able to open the skies from above and as such a sphere of clouds about 14 feet in height and 14 feet in circumference slowly descends from the sky. It then slowly descends to touch the ground, and once it does everything in a 90 foot radius of where the ball dropped is attacked by huge bolts of lightning causing large amounts of property damage and what not.

Raiden no Moui (Raiden's Fury)
Description: A technique often used for the sake of demolitions purposes, the user flashes a number of seals and finally ends the series with an odd looking seal that auspiciously looks like the seal that the Yamanaka use for their own techniques. The user of this technique now must keep his eyes set on one specific object that he can see through this seal for the next two minutes, if he moves or does anything else but aim during this period the technique is cancelled. After this, the skies suddenly open up, and a huge beam of white lightning strikes where the user was aiming, decimating the target and causing powerful shockwaves to affect the area 500 feet from the point of impact, most likely decimating anything with a foundation. One can generally tell that this technique is occurring by the fact that the skies turn black, thunder begins sounding, and it starts to rain during the time of preparation as well as a sudden increase of heat.

Sigh of the Yellow Dragon
Description: Often considered to be Nagai Jyushin's trademark technique the few who have ever seen it have gazed in awe at the complete output of chakra one would have to use in order to perform such a move as this. Placing but one single hand on the opponent the shinobi delivers a huge debilitating shock to his target forcing him to his knees, the shinobi then generates a excessively huge amount of electirc chakra that the target's body turns to ash and crumbles away. Some who have claimed to of seen the move in action say that a human sized flying snake can be seen wrapped around Nagai and then flies high into the sky, never to be seen again. However to this day the school teacher claims he knows no such move.

Shina's Touch
Description: A move believed to be forever lost in legend, but technically possible had one the ability to manipulate enough electrical chakra to do so. Concentrating enough chakra to just the hand one could place it on the opponent's chest and regulate the heart to beat slower then the human body needs to survive. At first the target doesn't even notice that such a technique has even happened and continues moving like it's nothing, however after a little while the target begins to falter about and then collapses as he feels his entire body coarsing with pain and exhaustion unable to get back up. 2 minutes later the victim falls into a coma and then dies afterwards. Although it has never been performed since the days Shina herself was alive one claims all one needs to do to survive such a slow and painful death is to have Hekirikite no Jutsu performed on the victim, re-regulating the heart to it's proper setting.





Genjutsu

(Basic)
Nirami no Kage (Shadow Glare)
Description: Manipulating what a shadow looks like is no large feat for the shinobi of Leaf. But at this level, the most basic, they are only able to increase the depth by which a person might perceive a shadow. For example, a shadow can either be lengthened or shortened, giving off the impression that a person is closer or father. When used in large expanses with abundant shade, this jutsu can prove quite worrisome.

Etainoshirenai no Fugou (Mark of the Unfamiliar) Description: Another fundamental jutsu, this one changes a person’s writing, mark, or even an inscription to that of another. By doing this, simple directions can be misread or pathways can be changed. It is all up to the discretion of the person reading the sign, though, since merely touching the word or mark in question can easily break the spell.

Etainoshirenai no Tsuujite (Through the Unfamiliar) Description: Strange in its uses, this genjutsu is fairly harmless. What it does is makes any opponent who falls into its area of effect imagine that they have just undergone a certain sense of déjà vu. That is to say, they begin to question whether they are following the right path or direction since the one in front of them seems too familiar to be the right way.

Etainoshirenai no Oto (Sounding the Unfamiliar)
Description: Another harmless genjutsu, this one simply makes an opponent imagine that, in dark places, different animals begin to call out from all around them. This can range from a cat’s meow just behind them to an owl’s hoot above. The user’s own voice is what makes these sounds and then he/she manipulates them with chakra. Therefore, it goes without saying that this genjutsu affects ones sense of sound.

Etainoshirenai no Tacchi (Touch of the Unfamiliar) Description: This jutsu, by its name alone, obviously takes into account a person’s sense of touch. Much unlike the rest of these jutsu, this one is activated once a person touches a particular object that the user has ‘charmed’. It can be as obvious as a kunai being sent at an opponent from any distance, or even the leaves of a tree. In short, what it does is it makes the user question whether or not the particular item existed or not. So if a person were to be stabbed with a kunai, they would seem to not feel the pain of the kunai, but would realize it much later since the effect of the jutsu is quite short. In the example of leaves, a person could pass through a veil of leaves and only have their other four senses to rely on as to whether or not those leaves even truly existed, causing a very distinct sense of confusion.

Chouba no Kage (Shadow Taunt)
Description: In this jutsu, the user visually manipulates a shadow into taking another form aside from the one it actually is. For example, what was once the shadow of a short male can be shaped into that of a voluptuous woman. This technique, however, is fairly easy to see through since it cannot really be used on a shadow that a person is currently looking at. Whatever the case, though, it does tend to cause some confusion within those who are weak in perception.

Dokuji no Kaori (Scent of Peculiar)
Description: This jutsu makes use of the as-of-yet popular sense of smell. It has been known for ages past that there are certain scents that excite different emotions. Scents in this area can make something as simple as dust smell endearing, or make crushed leaves give off a toxic aroma. By this, both traps and warnings can be made of simple objects, not to mention the handy note of covering up ones tracks.

Dokuji no Gyoushi (Leer of the Peculiar)
Description: A somewhat harmless jutsu, this one is made through eye contact. A form of intimidation, this one seemingly communicates malicious intent upon a victim and is often used to open up attacks from teammates. Not necessarily stunning, it does provoke an opponent into thinking twice before engaging in battle.

Dokuji no Gisou (Camouflage of the Peculiar)
Description: Here is one of the many techniques used to hide shinobi from their pursuers if even but for a short while. Taking in natural components to their attire (leaves, twigs, dirt, mud, etc.) a person is able to lie still in an area of similar settings and remain completely impervious to detection. By strewing together chakra and a visual illusion, whatever the user takes onto their clothes bind to them and become a literal part of their appearance, changing it to suit the environment. Simply touching the user will cancel this jutsu, though.

Dokuji no Onsei (Voice of the Peculiar)
Description: This is a complimentary technique to the Chouba no Kage, though can stand alone as well. A verbal aid, it manipulates a person’s voice and makes them seem either more or less imposing. When coupled with the Chouba no Kage, it can make the user seem possessed: changing both their voice and their shadow to those more intimidating. By itself, it can used as a very noteworthy distraction and can also deter opponents from engaging the user right away. Skilled shinobi can make their voice sound like that of other people they have encountered rather than just changing pitch and tone.

Minagiru no Kage (Shadow Swell)
Description: This is a rather useful technique despite its simplicity. Visually expanding a shadow, the user is able to cover a large area in pseudo-darkness and thus forces an opponent to rely on their senses aside from sight. Not to say that this completely blinds a person, but it can easily make day seem like night in certain settings, thus causing both great confusion and making direct combat difficult to an extent.
Note: This only visually manipulates shadows. Jutsus that rely on shadow as a form of attack (like Nara jutsu) cannot exploit this technique.

Boufuu no Jumon (Spell of the Gale)
Description: A sharp whistle within of the wind is nothing of particular concern to a shinobi. Natural settings like these are, in fact, what tend to mask a shinobi from harm. However, this genjutsu acts in a very different way than ‘natural’ wind would. Here the jutsu makes an opponent or group both feel and hear the wind coming from every direction. It causes a very definite effect and tends to put people on alert. Prolonged exposure to this jutsu interferes a person’s ability to hear around them properly.

Konoha no Jumon (Spell of the Leaves)
Description: This is a visual jutsu that takes advantage of nearby foliage. Without moving, a user is able to make themselves appear within the blink of an eye behind a veil of leaves. That is to say, they can make a bunshin-like apparition that has their form but also manipulates the greenery around them. When they are destroyed, they pop in and expose a flurry of leaves. This technique can be compared to Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu, except that its effect is dependent on plants.
Note: Can be used continuously so long as the user remains motionless.

Kyouboku no Jumon (Spell of the Trees)
Description: This jutsu, clearly, requires the presence of trees to work. Its effect is simple enough but valuable when trying to escape an opponent. By altering the surrounding trees in an area, the user is able to create a path by which an opponent is ‘forced’ to take. So, rather than being followed into one area, the user can force their opponent to follow another, possibly into a trap. This jutsu is hard to detect because there is very little difference between these imaginary trees and the real thing. Except, of course, if the pursuer is clumsy enough to run or leap into the illusion. That or, of course, they are following the user by any other means besides sight and sound.

Kyouchikutou no Jumon (Spell of the Oleander)
Description: The first truly offensive jutsu, this technique makes use of imagery to cast both fear and doubt in an opponent. With a pile of leaves or even shred paper, the user blows them into an opponents face and thus activates the genjutsu. The leaves or paper are ‘charmed’ and release the effect upon making contact with the opponent. At first the opponent is merely annoyed by these fragrance-filled, white petals being blown in their face. But then, after a few seconds, the techniques effect kicks in and makes the opponent think and feel that they’ve been poisoned. Nothing serious, of course, but just the thought of being poisoned and having only a few minutes to live can cause so much stress on a person that it may cause them to faint. This causes obvious hindrances to combat

(Jounin)
Akumu Kage (Nightmare Shadow)
Description: This technique forces an opponent to believe the shadows around them act independent of the light cast in the particular setting. They shape and form various objects of likewise varying proportions. What is actually happening here is that the user is recreating scenes or things from their past which have caused them harm to some extent. It can range as being as complex and morbid was witnessing the birth and slaughter of a newborn, or even to something as trivial as clown-shaped figures surrounding the opponent from all sides. The shadows, of course, have no face or actual presence. They are merely shapes which hint at the aforementioned events. The user must remain unseen in this jutsu, however, since he or she would blur and disturb the images which the shadows are creating in the opponent’s mind.
Note: This technique can affect more than one person. Individual reactions to the technique may vary.


Kenbou (Forgetfulness)
Description: A somewhat whimsical and fanciful technique, this one is most often familiarized with mind control but is very much different. Using only a pre-designated seal as the focal point, the user is able to alter their chakra to affect memories to a very basic extent by creating new ones which replace or block out anything current. For example, an enemy might come up to the user and try to interrogate their purpose. With this technique, the user will ‘suggest’ that the victim has mistaken him as somebody else and should carry on with his duties. Most often, the user wins out in these cases but it will not work against all. Another way to use this technique is by making a victim suddenly remember that they have something to do. Another example would be like making a guard recall that they have to check the keys in at the barracks and must return to do so. The limits of this technique are obvious. Actual memories cannot be recreated, only suggestions which would allude to real memories. Also, these memories can be so false that a victim will realize immediately that there is something the matter and will see this as a sign of provocation.
Note: If the sum of the user’s primary attributes exceed the sum of the victim’s primary attributes then this technique can be successful. This does not go to say, however, that this technique works every time. Judgment of whether or not this technique works on a victim will be done on a case by case basis.

Chototsu (Recklessness)
Description: This technique is quite powerful even for this stage of learning, but has certain drawbacks which help convey both its seriousness and fallouts. Using the necessary amount of the seals, the user begins to hum as if in meditation. This sound carries out across the field of a battle and affects everyone in its vicinity; including allies. Once activated the jutsus inhibits certain extents of rational thought by portraying the user as overly skillful. This, in turn, causes them to become overly brash and confident. And though this doesn’t necessarily improve combat effectiveness, it does block out certain skills from a victims memory. In short, it makes them ‘forget’ to use certain techniques and only allows to them use more simple ones. In allies, this works exactly the same. However, in allies, the most usual case is that they know the user has this technique at their disposal and will recognize it in time so as to mentally block it with Kai.

Narisumashi no Hotaru (Firefly Masquerade)
Description: Drawing upon the somewhat slender mysticism that surrounds the firefly, this technique pushes for emotional reactions to the extent in which almost any victim can be affected. Holding a seal in place and hopefully within sight of the opponent (note that this isn’t eye contact), the opponent immediately begins to see one or two fireflies enter the field as the environment begins to suddenly darken. Next, the technique subtly reaches its crux by the addition of more fireflies entering the dimmed field. They begin to surround both user and victim and provide nothing more than a lightshow at this stage. The last act of the technique forces the opponent to realize hidden fears when the fireflies suddenly converge upon the user and takes the shape of whichever person or thing the opponent fears most. Swiftly, the scene around them becomes blurred as hundreds more fireflies spin around the two and seemingly lock them within a chamber of light. At this point the user can ‘travel’ between all the light around them and speaks instances which would provoke the user’s mental stability. These illusions are most obviously self-induced, but the user simply manifests them through this technique.

Nehan Shoja no Jutsu (Temple of Nirvana Technique) Description: An offset of Nemuri, this technique is instead increased tenfold and can affect a large group of people. Once more ineffective in combat, this also does not require physical contact to be made between the user and a victim to be initiated. Instead, this one is more easily recognized because the victims imagine feathers to be dropping down out of thin air for a few seconds before the technique actually settles in, providing a few precious moments to counter it.

Magen: Haitai Chihyou no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Decaying Earth Technique)
Description: This jutsu makes the user seem as if they are like dust being blown away by the wind. A visual effect which only serves to hide them, the bulk of the genjutsu begins with the ground underneath the opponent collapsing and acting almost like quicksand. But much unlike quicksand, it is not the ground itself that is dragging the opponent down, but half-skeleton replicas of ghosts or victims from the opponents past. Mothers, fathers, sibling, and rivals; anyone of significance in the opponent’s life hopes to drown them in the now stagnant-looking earth, a vision of their hellish demise just below them.
Note: This technique can affect more than one person. Individual reactions to the technique may vary.

Magen: Kishibari no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Technique)
Description: A genjutsu wherein the user disappears from an opponent’s eyesight. Then, in the few moments of confusion that ensue, the opponent seems to be entangled within the confines of a tree. It’s not as if the tree grew out of the ground and around the opponent, no. It’s almost as if the user had just grown out of the tree itself. In this state, the user undergoes a slight version of the Kanashibari no Jutsu in that their body becomes momentarily paralyzed. This, however, is a misconception. In this instance, the user has instead numbed the opponent’s sense of touch to the point where they only think they are paralyzed. Then, in an extra feat of illusionary skill, the user appears to materialize from within the tree as well and may do as they please to the opponent.
Note: The actual illusion of this jutsu lasts for only four posts. The ‘binding’ aspect, or the point in which the opponent is completely paralyzed, lasts only for the first post in which they are under the effect of this jutsu. In this way, it only allows an ally to take advantage of the opening, not the character that performed this jutsu.

Magen: Kyouran no Me kara Kyoufu (Demonic Illusion: Fear Through the Eyes of Madness)
Description: A rather harsh jutsu, this one forces an opponent to not only face their fears, but to succumb to them. Trapped within the technique, the user believes themselves confronted by whatever person or thing they fear most in life, ready to do battle and oppose it. But despite any efforts they make, their fear remains immune and imposing. And for every attempt to defeat this manifestation of fear, the user only fails and is instead paid back their efforts tenfold. Stabbing their illusionary opponent in the chest with a kunai would only result in the user being impaled, for example. Once the opponent realizes this give and take relationship they begin to slowly realize their weakness and fall prey to an extreme sense of paranoia and the terror begins to consume them.

Buin no Senkusha (Harbinger of Silence)
Description: This technique is another of three which completely disables one of the major senses. In this case, it’s ones sense of sound. A lengthy row of handseals begins the process, followed closely by, strangely enough, eye contact. Upon this, a looming figure of a hooded villain rises up behind the user and unsheathes a dagger from the bowels of its robes. And although this doesn’t bind an opponent in place like some of the more potent genjutsus, it is instead fast-acting. As soon as the apparition appears, it lunges forth at the opponent and screams maniacally. At this point, the opponent ‘seems’ to have lost their hearing and is disabled in this way till they realize that the mysterious figure was purely imaginary.

Magen: Katsu no Gongen (Demonic Illusion: Avatar of Thirst)
Description: An arid desert sets the scene for the beginnings of this technique, withered trees and dying patches of grass littering the area around the user. Meant to only somewhat mimic the area in which the opponent once stood, the scene is used only to represent what is about to occur within the user. From wherever the user was last seen, a man cloaked in rustic and disheveled brown arises with staff in hand. Looking up slowly from sunken eyes and clearly diseased skin, he screams out with such force that it pushes against the user. At this the scene quickly swirls around the opponent and all their senses are drowned out by the howling wind and sand. When they come to, a severe sense of dryness erupts from their throat and mouth. They lose the ability to speak under such stress and every breath taken is sharp to the touch. Difficulty breathing follows this pain, and a lethal sense discomfort forces the user to break down.

Magen: Jifu no Gongen (Demonic Illusion: Avatar of Conceit)
Description: Pride has always been the downfall of many great men. The inability to accept the truth because one’s personal merit contradicts it can prove quite devastating when controlled properly. By this technique, the user distorts the scene at hand by reserving it to only black and white. Then, a man garbed in elegant cloths and sallow skin arises from just in front of the victim. From within his robes he takes a brilliant ruby and literally embeds it within the victim’s head. From that point forward, the illusions desist and the victim suddenly feels elated and able to do even the most impossible of feats. This sense of pride, however, blinds them from the fact that their movements are now clumsy and their senses dulled due to the mind-numbing focal point in their head. In effect, their battle effectiveness drops considerably.
Note: This technique decreases all of an opponents stats by three points for the remainder of the thread. However, they cannot decrease past 0. If it does, the user’s total in each statistic instead becomes 1. Despite all factors which affect the duration of genjutsus, this technique lasts for only four posts. This technique can only decrease an opponent’s stats once per thread. Every use afterward does not include the ability to decrease stat points. Kai will restore all points back to normal.

Magen: Tentan no Gongen (Demonic Illusion: Avatar of Apathy)
Description: Laziness and idleness have also led many men to ruin during the course of history. But even more dangerous is not the inability to act, but the choice not to. Through this technique that point is proven to the utmost by using false images to create doubt and an even greater scope of sluggishness in a victim. The setting begins in a darkened forest littered with cobwebs and the general sense of dread hanging over everyone present. Then, a child is heard weeping in the background as it finally reveals itself from within the shadows. A boy barely over the age of 10; his clothes depict a struggled life and the bags under his eyes hint at depravity. But his most prominent feature is the word “Choice” carved deeply into his forehead. After observing the boy for a few moments and drinking in the words he communicates by his very presence, he lets out a scream which plunges the victims back to reality. From here on out they are faced with hesitance in every action they take, their vision and reflexes dimmed considerably. The lesson they take from this experience is that their actions directly decide whether people live or die, that their actions carry so much weight as to decide to fate of an innocent child.
Note: This technique acts quite unlike every other genjutsu thus far in that it makes it so that, for the next two posts, the user is unable to use any tree (even taijutsu and unique ones) for two posts. This does not, however, deactivate bloodlines. Curses or any other sort of secondary stat modifier also shut down and the user returns to their normal state. Anything else that might affect a character’s performance will be judged on a case by case basis.

Magen: Gekijou no Gongen (Demonic Illusion: Avatar of Fury)
Description: A prime human emotion which is both quite powerful and also a great weakness is one’s own temper. Anger can be as liberating as it is blinding, and in a battle of cunning can bring about swift defeat. This technique embodies the mental state of fury and puts the opponent into a frenzy showing them various self-images and experiences. A spirit racked in archaic armor befriends the user as the technique begins. Then, after a few moments, the image seemingly breaks into the users mind with its own icy hands and brings about the jutsus effects. Bitter defeats, times of struggle, loss of loved ones, anything that is already present in the opponent’s mind are distorted and amplified to shroud the user’s thoughts in utter rage. They become self-absorbed and can think of nothing but that solitary moment that replays over and over in their head. It is so engaging that they lose all sense of self and slip into mindless fury. Eventually, however, this technique wears off and the user is left only with a lapse in memory (which can prove dangerous on its own).
Note: Despite all factors which affect genjutsu, this technique lasts for only four posts. During this time, the character quite literally falls into a trance which cannot be broken unless they have Kai. There is no other alternative. But because of that, the cost to break this genjutusu is Kai and Willpower greater than or equal to half the Control of the user. The character, when under the effect of this genjutsu, may only use physical attacks.

Reikoku no Fukumen (Mask of Cruelty)
Description: This is a unique and powerful jutsu which is supremely hard to master. Much unlike other genjutsus, this one affects an opponents mind very differently in that it causes hallucinations based on situation. Quite unique in this respect, it makes it so that every time the afflicted were to cause harm to another person, they would envision themselves being harmed instead. For example, an opponent making a lunge at the user would cause the afflicted to envision themselves in their place; visions of masochism, as it were. There have been stories of people too afraid to make any offensive attempts after being placed under this genjtusu, unable to either defend or attack their opponents out of utter fear.
Note: As far as explaining the actual genjutsu, it’s quite simple. In the above example, the person under the effect of this genjutsu will always picture and ‘feel’ that they are dealing themselves some sort of pain. So when they try to stab an opponent with a kunai, they will instead feel as if they are being stabbed with a ku

Backstory: Christian was born in Uzushiogakure. Before the destruction of the village, he moved to Konoha, along with several other Uzumaki's, to fulfill on their alliance with Konoha. However, as his clan was eventually decimated by the Kyuubi, he could not return, and was forced to live in a village he did not want to protect. He was taught by his fellow Uzumaki, as well as what you could consider a brother of his, but he died in the early attacks on the village, leaving him to be the last surviving Uzumaki, as well as the clan head. Fire - Katon

(Basic)
Katon: Ichi (Fire Release: One)
Description: The basic building block of a great many techniques down the line, this is presumably the very same skill that began the study of Katons. Molding their chakra through a simple seal of any choice, the user is able to focus it onto the tip of their index finger in the form of heat. With this, they can cut through things such as glass and rope with some difficulty. However, at this stage, control of one’s chakra is so minimal that this technique can only be used by one finger and essentially has no combat use.

Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flare Technique)
Description: By molding chakra into ones lungs properly, they are able to exhale a short burst of heat and flame which basically explodes from the mouth. The fire itself actually only lasts for about a second. But its effect is that it illuminates dark places, if only for but a few seconds.

Katon: Shuriken no Jutsu (Fire Release: Shuriken Technique)
Description: A relatively basic katon, this one uses chakra to coat a metal shuriken or a kunai with fire. It is done so that the user first throws the shuriken, then exhales from his or her mouth a small flame that ignites the chakra-coated projectile. If the attack succeeds, not only will your opponent be hurt by the shuriken or kunai, but he will also suffer from burns.
Note: Only one projectile at a time.

Katon: Fukumen no Jutsu (Fire Release: Veil Technique)
Description: A stall technique which really only helps genins in this stage of learning accustom themselves to the less subtle methods of Katons. Performing the necessary seals, the user claps their hand in front of them and a hot white flash erupts from their hands that blind people in the closest vicinities. With this opening, the user is able to make a hasty escape or even move in for a killing blow. The severity of the flash, however, lasts only a moment and causes only spots to appear until an opponent’s sight becomes clear again.

Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu (Fire Release: Cinder Technique)
Description: Basic to all Katon users is the ability to set thing things on fire, obviously. This technique allows a person to snap their fingers and ignite a spark anywhere they so wish. A simple cinder and no more, this jutsu is used mostly in pranks and the like.

Katon: Houka Hira no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flaming Palm Technique)
Description: A more advanced version of the Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu, this jutsu allows the user to hold the make spark in their hand. They then amplify it with their chakra until it is a small flame. By mimicking the gentle fist style, the push the flame into their opponent, causing clothes to light, or minor burns on the body.

Katon: Ni (Fire Release: Two)
Description: This technique makes it so that after a user has molded enough chakra to gather heat into their finger they can now distribute it to both the index and middle finger (one hand), making it a somewhat viable option in combat now. However, jabs and strikes made through this method would simply burn through clothing and wouldn’t cause any substantial thereafter. In terms of raw searing strength, though, it allows the user to cut through even metallic string now.

Katon Housenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique)
Description: A jutsu that sends multiple blasts of fire from the mouth, usually with one target in mind. Shurikens can also be hidden inside the flames, creating an element of surprise.
Katon: Ryuuka no Jutsu (Fire release: Dragon Fire Technique)
Description:Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding the opponent, the ninja uses a guide wire to unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target.

Katon: Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flash Fan Technique)
Description: A fairly simple jutsu, the user breaths in a fair amount of air while performing the necessary handseals and breaths it out in a short funnel of flame. Literally lasting only a few seconds, it explodes out of the mouth in a v-like wave and is a commonly used technique amongst shinobi who like to build into their attacks. The range of this flame, however, is about 3m and the flame itself isn’t held long enough to deal any real damage. Therefore, it isn’t necessarily a viable offensive option as compared to other jutsus, but it does serve its purposes since only three handseals are needed to perform this technique.

Katon: Bounetsu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame-Resistance Technique)
Description: This is a passive jutsu that is the first in two steps to protect the user from damaging themselves with their very own Katons. Although not necessarily mandatory to learn the finer points of the tree, it does provide a buffer against self-inflicting injuries. For example the user is able to withstand increasing amounts of heat and can even withstand certain techniques aimed at them. Withstand, however, does not translate into invulnerability as there are general flaws to this jutsu as well.

Katon: Yojin Bunshin no Jutsu (Fire Release: Ember Clone Technique)
Description: A basic bunshin wherein the user will call forth through in corporeal form a clone of themselves, crafted from flame. At this level, the clone is quite weak and can only really serve as a distracted more so than a viable combat replacement. However, it does have its uses, which alongside detonating upon destruction or on command, are numerous.
Note: The clone only has 1/10 the ability of the original user.

Katon: Hi Shinten no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame Spread Technique)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to extend the flame from their hand to any weapon or item they may be holding. This creates a surrounding layer of flame around the object, but the object is unharmed. This can only extend to a length of 3 feet maximum, or the length of a medium sized sword.

Katon: San (Fire Release: Three)
Description: At this stage of learning, users of this technique are expected to be quite adept at controlling the flow of chakra in their body. It is by this that they are now able to both create ample amounts of chakra and distribute to both hands (still only two fingers per hand). The actual heat effect of this technique, though, still hasn’t changed much from Katon: Ni. Also, awkwardly enough, the user is still unable to have the technique travel throughout one whole hand.

Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique)
Description: A jutsu that sends a stream of fire towards the opponent, originating from the users mouth. In some cases it has been seen to take on the form of a dragon. Capable of being used like a flamethrower, prolonged exposure has been known to transform boulders and cliff side’s into molten piles of magma.
Note: Genin can use the technique for up to two posts, Chuunin for three, and Jounin for five. As mentioned before, strength of the flame and prolonged exposure can prove devastating.

Katon: Kyuuka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flame Sphere Technique)
Description: Quite different from the other various other Katons in Leaf’s arsenal, this one instead is a defensive jutsu. Quite easy to learn, it is also performed much differently from other jutsus. Using the body as a heat source, the user molds chakra to amplify it and make it entirely visible. Then the user expands it, using more chakra, and takes on a red, spherical shape. This shield is used as a defense against both ninjutsus and taijutsus. It isn’t very powerful, though, and can only parry at most one technique before deactivating. A drawback to this jutsu, though, is based on the body’s temperature. If the user performs this technique late in a fight they risk fainting due to both a drastic change in body temperature and already stressed body levels.
Note: The user must remain still while using this technique.

Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu (Wind Levitation)
Description: Utilising and controlling the wind, the user is able to force the wind beneath an object in order to force it to rise up from the ground. The effectiveness of this jutsu is very much dependant upon the weight of the object in question, so large objects will take longer to lift, while lighter objects can be quickly lifted. Additionally, as the jutsu works by forcing wind beneath the targeted object, the higher the object gets, the harder it is to raise it any higher. The users control affects the speed at which they may raise an object, so while a person with only 5 control would be slow to raise a rock the size of a persons head, someone with a control of 40 could lift enormous boulders without showing significant sign of slowing. Only inanimate objects can be levitated.

Yadama Furooseigyo (Projectile Control Skill)
Description: A basic skill for those learning to master the art of wind control. With the ability to control air currents the user can utilize them to their advantage when throwing projectiles such as kunai or shuriken, using the wind to aid the speed and trajectory of their weapon. Someone with a 5 in control would only be able to give it a slight boost in power, while someone with a control of 40 could make them fly twice as fast.

Hanpatsu Kaze no Jutsu (Retrieving Wind Technique)
Description: Creating a small gust of wind, the user utilizes it to push towards them instead of away, specifically to push nearby objects towards them. Those with a 5 or so in Power will only be able to push small objects about the size of a kunai or shuriken towards them, while someone with a 40 in Power can push large animals and even people.

Boufuu Kyouzuu no Jutsu (Gale Surge)
Description: A defensive jutsu at best. The user distils the air around him or her with his or her chakra and at the exact moment of attack releases a large burst of air. The blast of wind goes out three feet and knocks a victim back at least five feet and can stop projectiles. It is a defensive move that is usually used when the user is caught off guard. The wind can only be released in one direction however, and a cool down period of three posts is required before it can be used again.

Yadama Henshin Bakuha (Projectile Deflection Blast)
Description: Building up a great amount of air in their chest, the user distils chakra to expel a great gust of wind directly from their mouth. The wind is not strong enough to push back something as solid as a human body but can deflect light projectiles such as kunai and shuriken.

Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)
Description: Loosing a short blast of air from their hands, the user is able to propel themselves in the opposite direction with considerable force. This jutsu is ideally suited to Wind ninjutsu specialists, who often tend to favour avoidance of attacks rather than powerful defences, and can be used to either move very quickly to the side, or even propel themselves quite high into the air.

Kamaitachi no Jutsu (Slashing Wind Skill)
Requirement: Weapon, like a fan
Description: The user uses chakra and a weapon usually to create large bursts of wind at an extent. In reality it is not an actual burst of wind but a tornado that came from the user. The wind slashes objects; at most it can cut tree branches. Like a real tornado, the wind expands as it goes farther and hits larger targets. The wind disappears after being shot for twenty feet and at most it widens to fifteen feet. If this hits you will be severely cut and knocked back, and most genin elemental jutsu are dispelled when they are hit by this jutsu

Nindo: Self control can give you more power than a ninjutsu ever can.

Personality: Ruya is incredibly shy, she doesn’t let anyone get close to her because she is afraid she will hurt them or that they will hurt her. She loves nature and can take great pleasure in the small creatures and plants that don’t judge her. She doesn’t smile very often. Underneath that depressive shy exterior is hiding a loving, determined girl that wants nothing more than be respected and loved.

Backstory: Ruya wasn’t born under the best of circumstances. Her clan had almost fell into extinction and she had to be a girl. And her parents weren’t on very good terms with eachother because of that. Her dad killed her mother for not bearing him a son and was about to lay his hands on Ruya. The girl still isn’t sure how she survived, because she can only remember what the other people of her clan had told her. Her dad was dropped dead on the ground, with the kunai still raised in his hands.
Years passed, as Ruya lived a quite peacefull life with an aunt of hers. She had to a lot of chores and wasn’t allowed to train to be a ninja like the sons of her aunt, because that wasn’t a girls job. One day, when she was alone doing chores her aunt made her do, when a beautiful girl named Mikoto ( picture below) showed herself to her. They became friends and Ruya trusted the girl with all her doubts, short-comings and irritation of not being able to become a ninja like her mother. The only problem was that no one ever saw Mikoto, she always seemed to vanish when her aunt or other people came in. The little Ruya tried to ask, but Mikoto always answered that she was a skilled ninja that could disappear before anyone would notice her, and that Ruya could become just like her.
Years grow by, and Ruya became a wonderful young girl. At the age of 14 her aunt told her she was going to marry to the neighbour’s son, a boy she hated from the bottom of her heart. How much she tried, her aunt wasn’t going to cancel this. On the day of the wedding, when Ruya was alone with Mikoto she begged her to help her. Mikoto asked if she was ready to pay every price she asked. Ruya cried she was.
The next thing she knows is that she looked at the chapel with bloodied bodies of the people that attended her wedding. Her hands were covered in blood. Some villagers who weren’t invited ran in and saw the bloody massacre. She was the only survivor and blood of the deceased was dripping of her hands. Her crying eyes meant nothing to the villagers and she had to run for her life, because within seconds the kunai and jutsu’s where flying around her.
After her flight, Mikoto showed up once again and Ruya cried that she shouldn’t have pushed it that far, that she annihilated all the people she loved. Mikoto let out a terrible laugh and cupped the girls face.’’ You think I did that? Here is something new, I am you. You killed all those people. Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.
