Kazirain, or Kaz, the offspring of the Tallest Purple, was walking among the streets of Irk. She briefly wondered where her sisters, Zelorain and Lekarain, Zel and Lek for short, were, but the thought was quickly forgotten as she spun throughout the streets. She was so lost in her thoughts; she bumped into a male Irken. “Pardon me!” She cried instinctively, remembering her etiquette.
“No, it’s not your fault, milady.” A boy’s voice responded. She glanced up, which wasn’t too rare for an Irken. There was a boy not too much taller than her. “The name’s Andreusol, but you can call me Reu or Sol, princess.” He bowed.
She stopped him. “Please, don’t bow to me. I’m not destined to be the next Tallest. That’s my brother, Galenroz.”
Reu hastily straightened, once again becoming a good inch taller than her.
Kaz turned to walk away, smiling, and blushing slightly. “Wait.” Reu called behind her. He stopped. “May I see you again?” She turned her head slightly so that her left, deep violet eye met his red-orange one. She nodded, the blush on her face darkening.

Two months had passed since Reu and Kaz had met, and the young Irkens, including Kaz and her sisters, were getting their Invader assignments. Kaz, Zel, and Lek were not getting any special treatment just because their father and uncle were giving out assignments.
A few hours passed, and Kaz, Lek, and Zel were assigned to go to Planet Earth. Little did the small, violet-eyed, Irken know, her lover had been sent to this strange planet also.
