I'll be honest: some parts of the movie were really lame. Especially the really gory parts... it seemed really unnecessary. And most of the parts with Bella's dad were also pretty boring.

But the thing is - I read all four Twilight books (so that I can actually back up my arguments when criticizing the series) but refused to watch the movies. Especially after I heard that even Twilight fans didn't like the first movie, I've just refused to watch them. Even though I'll admit that Taylor Lautner is really hot, even if he is that stupid werewolf. But, I'm rambling. The point is, when I watched Vampires Suck, I informed my non-rabid Twilight-fan friends who were watching with me that I felt like I was watching Twilight. Seriously. The majority of that movie (excepting a few gags and flat-out lame jokes) was just Twilight with the truth exposed. With the glossy romance and diehard fans stripped away, we can see Twilight for what it truly is: cliched, boring, unintelligent, and plain old messed-up.

I think that the actress for Becca was actually more expressive than the girl who does Bella, and she was even trying to pull off the same blank expression and vapid behavior. Which makes the original Twilight just plain sad...

Wonder if they'll do a parody like this again for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn? The fourth book/movie in particular needs to be exposed for what it really conveys to those of us with higher reading levels: flat-out disturbing.
