Shizukesa is an extremely calm man, hince the name Shizukesa which means Serenity. He loves his duties, and will be the first to tell anyone that. He also is a very easy going man who can easily see the right in a person or situation. He will not hesitate to act justly when the times call for it. He will also ONLY fight for what is right and true; if a situation seems fishy he will take no part in it. He is an extremely respectful man, and commands a high amount of respect because of his character.

Shinjistu Shizukesa, said properly, was born into a wealthy Samurai family. The Son of a well known Daimyo. The day he was born was a joyous day for those of his house because it mean't a legacy for the noble Samurai. He was named Shizukesa because despite being born in the midst of a raging thunder storm, He did not cry. On the contrary to most newborns, Shizukesa remained absolutely tranquil. His bright amber eye's opened slowly, and looked to the occupants of the room. First to his father, then to his mother who was holding him. Everyone was completely taken aback by the child's actions, but his father knew he would grow to be a promising young Samurai. He could feel that Shizukesa possessed something that no one else did.

Year's pass, and Shizukesa is everything his father knew he would be. Only 14 years of age and he was already shaping up to be one of the brightest, and talented youths anyone had seen. His skill with a blade was remarkable for his age, and his ability as a tactician exceeded some of his fathers men. His father even went so far as to let him plan some of their smaller battle strategies. While his father was off in battle, Shizukesa stayed home and honed his skills with the blade. The boy trained hardest in the midst of storms, heavy storms like the night he was born. He had a strange affinity for them that no one could explain. And much like how it all began for Shizukesa on a stormy night; it all ended on one as well.

His father off in battle yet again, a storm ravaged the japanese country side. Nights like these Shizukesa could alway's be found training his hardest. Cloaked by darkness Ninja sent by his father's eneies infiltrated his home. Ruthlessly they murdered his family. His mother, his sister, and all the servants of his family. Shizukesa entered his home, immediately sensing something was wrong. It was then that he found his mother and sister dead in each others arms. Grief, fear, and anger struck him all at once. The ninja's guilty of this crime revealed themselves to him, assuming that he'd be an easy kill. How very incorrect they were. They lashed out at the boy not expecting possess such skill with a blade at such a ripe age. A bloody battle took place that left all the ninja dead, but Shizukesa mortally wounded in the process.

When his father returned that following morning he could see Shizukesa sitting indian style on the front porch. His sword resting against his shoulder, and his head bowed. This was a typical way for a samurai to be sitting so his father thought nothing of it. It wasn't until he touched his son that he realized that there was no life in his body. He took Shizukesa's body into his arms, noticing then, the deep wound on his mid section. He carried his sons body into their home where he found the rest of the family, and the assassin's responsible, murdered. His fathers heart quivered with rage... and he went on to avenge his families death.. but by then Shizukesa's soul had already traveled elsewhere.

Soul Society...

He awoke in this place that looked much of a Japanese city, just not one he'd ever been to. He questioned many of its resident's of where he now was; they all answered him the same. The Soul Society's Rukongai district. In the distance he could see a large city; he was told that was where the shinigami lived. The explained to him That the shinigami were the protecters of the soul's of man, and were alway's fighting the war against hollow. Hollow's being the souls of the wicked, like the men who killed his family. It was from that point on he aspired to be Shinigami so that he could protect people from the monsters that would steal their lives like the ones who stole his.

He entered the Shinigami Academy where he excelled in the matters of all things Zanjutsu. And his grades in tactical class blossomed as well. It was the thing that was newest to him that took him the most studying to get. The magic known as kidou. Though it was tough, he learned to excel in that too, not at much as tactic's or zanjutsu, but well enough for him to pass the class easily. He graduated and was seated in the 8th division at the rank of 9th seated officer. From there, after many years, and battles, he arose to become the lieutenant of the 9th division. After the most recent battle in the seireitei, it has left several captain spots vacant. So now arrive at the part of Shizukesa's story that is no longer past, but present, as he now intends to apply for the rank of 13th division Taichou.

- Zanpakutō Shikai Abilities
When Shizukesa calls for Yokaze[meaning literally night wind] his blade is transformed into the four foot twin bladed katana, that holds the ability to manifest, and manipulate a diamond sharp stark black wind. There is more to this wind than just its ability to cut through most objects. It can also conduct a black static like electricity attack. By condensing its winds and creating natural friction, lighting is created that is black in color due to Yokaze naturally stark black winds called Sengetsu[Meaning Crescent moon] which iss a double crescent shaped arc of stark black wind. Its slashed from the double blades of Yokaze's Shikai. It travels at remarkably fast speeds and threatens to cut through solid concrete.

Attack #1:
Stark Tempest- This barrage of wind based attack threatens to shave the skin from bone with sheer cutting velocity. With a swipe of his blade Yokaze releases an impressive 50-60 small pockets of gale force sharp winds. All of them travel at frightening speeds and attempt to eviscerate the target.

Attack #2:

Cyclone Promenade- An attack that allows Yokaze to call forth two 25 foot high Stark black Cyclones. They can be used in two ways, one to simply attack the enemy with high speeds and sharp winds. The second is to spin rapidly around each other, thus creating high air pressure. This allows for the creation of static electricity that can later be used to strike at the enemy.


Attack #3:

Raze- This attack can only be used following the use of Cyclone promenade, And only if he combines the attack to generate the Stark black electrical storm. Furthermore, by channeling the electricity through his blade he can use it to strike at his enemies. its good for three attacks; after that the electricity will fade.

- Zanpakutō Bankai Name:Oharashi Yokaze
- Zanpakutō Bankai Appearance:Upon the summoning of his bankai a massive whirling wall of stark black diamond sharp wind is formed. It traps Shizukesa and his enemies inside, and will lash out if the try and escape. It is 50 yards in circumference, and kicks up heavy winds that will affect the enemy while trapped inside.

Yokaze transforms yet again, this time to Kyouretsu Yokaze, a pitch black Naginata that is 6 feet in length. The blade can also be detached from the pole-arm, leaving it connected by a chain. when in this form he can attack at mid range, and also swing the blade to attack as well.


Attack #3:
Shin Sengetsu- Much like like his attack in shikai, but this time three waves of stark black gale force winds are sent from the edge of the Naginata. They're stronger and faster than the ones sentin shikai.

Attack #2:
Zephyr- An attack that adds a flowing buzz saw like edge to Kyouretsu Yokaze's blade. This adds a stronger attack force, and gives Yokaze a slight advantage when attacking head on.


Attack #3:
Blitzkrieg- This devastating attack is another variation of Yokaze's ability to conduct electricity through increase in wind pressure. While the spinning wall of wind surrounds the battlefield, it also builds pressure allowing Yokaze to yet again conduct its stark black electricity. When used, the electricty is channelled to the Blade of Yokaze's Naginata. The blade can be spun by its chain, allowing the bolts of lightning to strike out randomly at Yokaze's foes.
