Doll walked in with the other two and looked around the room. She searched a bit before finding the janitors closet and started cleaning up. She didn't mind cleaning since she used to do it quite often.

Meggie smiled and was ready to hurry off and then she noticed the girl who had just entered "You can go home the place is pretty good, but thanks anyways." she said with a smile. "See you soon Phoebs!" she called after her best friend.

Lysander walked in a moment after Doll had. Hearing Meggie's voice, his eyes immediately went to her. "Meggie!" He yelled, worried but excited too. Worried that she would be angry with him, but excited that he had caught her. And by the look of it, in the nick of time.
Phoebe had waved back at Meggie, passing Lysander with only a glare of disgust before leaving to her dorm room.
"Eh.." And now, by the look of it. If Phoebe was angry with him, then there was a big chance that Meggie would be too. "Meggie?" He frowned walking up to her. "I'm really sorry I missed the dance, I'll be sure to go to the next one! I came here to help clean up.. But it looks like you've got that taken care of too.." Looking down at his feet for a moment he looked back up at Meggie. "I'm really, really, really sorry. I promise I'll go to the next one."

Doll looked up then bit her lip hoping it was going to be alright. She mentally crossed her fingers then started putting the equiptment away. She shivered when she remembered her recent job to where everything had to be spotless or she'd get scolded and locked in the servant's quaters. It was the only way she could raise money to feed herself and maybe manage to get education or an apartment.

Meggie furrowed her eyebrows at him and but the broom in his hand "I have to go with Phoebe, just finish up. We'll talk tomorrow, maybe." she said monotone and then marched away with tears pooling in her eyes.

"I.." Holding onto the broom, he turned watching her leave the room. "Meggie.." Eyes showing that he had been hurt by her words, his jaw tightened. Confusion and anger flowing through him, he had apologized, why didn't she forgive him? On TV when someone apologized they always forgave them. "Did I.. Say something wrong?" He looked over at Doll. "And where is Jade?" Frowning, he sighed. It seemed like everything he tried to do only ended up failing. "Well, the room is already clean." Walking over to the closet he set the broom away and started heading towards the door. "I'm sorry if I bothered you to come out here with me." Opening the door he held it open, "Let's go back to my dorm room, and you can tell us the story you were going to tell us before."

Doll had known that feeling all of her life. She looked down and just walked up to him hugging him quietly and not saying a word. She knew sometimes people just needed someone to hug. She was sure it was this sort of situation. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers through his hair soothingly. She hoped that everything would end ok. She hated seeing others hurt because she could feel that pain.

Getting a hug from Doll was the last thing he had imagined that would happen at that moment. But even though it was the last thing on his mind, it was the best thing that she could have done. Eyes relaxing from the shock of her sudden hug, Lysander wrapped his arms around Doll to hug her back. Something about the way she hugged him made him know that she really wanted him to feel better. There was something different about this girl, and he wanted to know what it was. Letting the hug last a few more moment more, his spirits were slowly lifting. Maybe Meggie would calm down and realize that she didn't mean to snap at him. That happened a lot on TV too. Usually the men didn't get a chance to apologize, but still.. Letting out a heavy sigh, he softly pulled Doll away and as his face shown in front of hers it held a smile. "Thank you." He whispered. Why he was whispering, he didn't even know. "C'mon." Still holding the smile, he took hold of her hand and headed back to his and Jades room, hoping that she would still be there.
