History: Skuld is a young mage who adopted her nom de guerre because of what happened to members of her family. Most specifically her grandfather whom died in Africa under mysterious circumstances -- especially since the British government issued a "D notice" which covers up all events involving her grandfather's death. Several of her uncles looked into this and disappeared. Skuld's Mistress [as in her instructor in magic] wisked the young girl to America where she could learn in relative safety.
Ironically, the young woman is almost killed on a speeding elevated train that was endangered by Doc Ock. Fortunately, Spiderman though extreme effort saved everyone on the train. This emboldened the young mage to harness her abilties to help others. With extensive training from her mistress, Skuld prepared herself for her current identity to further protect her family and friends. To investigate the inner workings and activities of Matheson Merchant Banking [whom contracted Skuld's grandfather just before his death] and their involvement in the criminal underworld; Skuld herself "became" a thief.
