As some of you may know, I'm going to be studying abroad in Hiroshima in 26 days biggrin Sooo excited.
Anyway, yesterday I went to a Japanese Student Association event at my school. I met the student who came from Hiroshima to here! I've been calling him my replacement, since I'm going through a bilateral exchange program.
He's super sweet 3nodding I keep telling all my friends that they should make friends with him, and that he can be me. (But one of my friends said, "How can he be you? You said he's nice, and you're..." -_-)
I'm kind of sad that we'll be on opposite ends of the world. But mostly I feel like OMG I'M GOING TO JAPANNNNNNN.

Congratulations on studying abroad! I'm quite a bit jealous, lol, as I've never been chosen for any of those study abroad programs and can't afford to do it on my own.
I really want to, though.

I've only been to China, which was bloody awesome anyway <3
I'd loooove to study abroad, but i need to learn a language first before doing anything. =w=;
i have had a couple friends go to Japan, and they loved it X3

 lol anyway I've been to Jamaica twice and we (Tiff Jena and I) have to go next year for Biolt's wedding

I went to germany on a host family program for three weeks during the summer. it was ******** sweet. then the german kids who hosted us came to stay with us for three weeks in the fall.

@Seddy: Wow! China! I wanna go there too someday, though I don't know that I'd want to study there. Anyway, you don't really need a language - my friend went to Korea without knowing any Korean. But she came back knowing a lot 3nodding
