Evzen pawed at the water it rippled to the edge and back. Her home was near a lake filled with weeping willows. She never enjoyed to live in the forest. To close together. The meadow was peaceful and welcoming. The beauty all took her breath away. She had dug a hole to live in near a formation of rocks. It was safe no one had found her yet.

Sacha had been traveling all day without break. His paws ached, his throat burned with thirst and his stomach was grumbling for nourishment. Even if he was starving, he needed to find some water before he worried about his stomach. Usually he would come across at least one stream in his day but today was not one of those days and he did not hear any water nearby.
The need for water pushed him on and soon he came across a meadow and inside the meadow was a lake. His tongue lolled out in thirst and he immediately bolted for the water. When he reached the edge he plopped down on and the ground, paws and face in the water as he drank from the refreshing lake.

There was something large and green in front of her. He was a very different wolf...very large wolf. Evzen didn't want to startle him but she gave a couch. Hoping that could get his attention.

Sacha stopped lapping at the water when he heard a cough across from him. His muzzle was still laying in the water as he stared over at the other wolf across from him. He blinked slowly and cocked his head to the side. The wolf didn't look all too threatening...right now. He learned from experience that looks can be deceiving, but Sacha had a significant size over the other so he wasn't feeling too worried.
Stretching out briefly, Sacha stood from the ground, shaking the water that was clinging to the green fur on his chest. He gave the stranger a leveled stare, looking almost bored. "Hello." His greeting was simple, and cautious.

Evzen's closed her eyes as the water hit her face. He seemed kind...not threatening. But he was skinny, malnourished. Could have been days since he last ate.
"Hi..."
She was still nervous. It had been a long time since another wolf had wondered into her territory.

Sacha cocked his head to the side, studying the she-wolf. He could feel her nervousness. The bored expression changed into one of friendliness. "I apologize for the intrusion, I am merely passing through for some water and food." He began to walk along the water bank towards her. His stomach growled loudly at him, "I hope you don't mind."

"No...not at all."
She could hear his stomach growl at him. It was pity that over whelmed her. She was a gentle soul.
"I saw some rabbits run by and the lake is always filled with fish."
She wanted to care for him. He was so horrible looking.

"Don't mind if I do!" Sacha waded into the water, choosing to go after some fish, and stared into the water, trying not to move. He was too tired to run after some rabbits. The little buggers were really fast when you haven't eaten in a while. He waited a little until he saw a fish swim by his paws. He missed a couple of times before he finally caught a fish. The fish flopped in his jaws as he walked back over to the shore, dropping it on the ground by the female. "Would you like some?" He asked while giving her a wolfish grin.

Evzen laid down near him and watched. Every time he missed she couldn't help but chuckle. Crossing her leg she smiled when he finally got a fish. Then the fish was plopped right into front of her. Kind of surprised her.
"You go ahead...I have eaten my fill for today."
She gave him a toothy smile. He needed it more than she if he wished to survive.
"My name is Evzen."

Sacha didn't think twice and plotted next to her to dig into the fish. Being as hungry as he was it didn't take him long to finish the fish. Sacha let out a happy sigh and pawed the fish remains to the side. "I'm Sacha." He replied while swiping at his jaw with his tongue. "It's been a while since I've come across someone who didn't want to rip my throat out."

"Ah well us wolves are very territorial. But I never found fighting over this place to be...worth it."
Evzen smiled.
"Sacha eh? And where do you hail from?"
He must have been traveling from far away by the look of his stature.

Sacha paused for a moment and stared off in thought. He hummed lightly and then shook his head, "I'm not really sure anymore. I moved constantly, ever since I was young. My original home seems to be lost to me." He looked at the wolf to his right and grinned slightly, "I've never found the place that just feels...right."
