Seeing Reicher's son had reminded Fairfax about the other pups. He had left without thinking of their protection or well being. Sure, they weren't really pups anymore, but they were still young, still weaker than the other pack members. Despite what his master had said, to not worry about the lack of allegiance of the pack member, it worried Fair. He didn't trust them and he didn't trust them with his master's offspring.
Still, he was caught between leaving his alpha or protecting his offspring. Well, the pink teen was here. Honestly, there was ntohing he could do here anyway, if something broke out. His master could take care of himself, far better than he could ever do for him.
So, his thin frame twitching with uncertainty, he turned back and headed for the camp.

Volgin was enjoying herself as she always did. The wolfess had not cared where her father or her family went, especially her pink brother. Instead she was relaxing. How? Her large uneffeminate body was sprawled out overtop of a large rock. Her back legs were hanging off of the side to take the pressure off of her bloated stomach. Contrary to the idea that she may of been regretting eating so much, she had the thigh of a large animal in her mouth and was gnawing away at it.
Pupiless eyes scoured the area around her, thankfully that most of the pack had taken to the lake or the foresty parts of the packlands. She didn't enjoy those areas and generally only went there to look for some prey. Although, the kill she was currently gnawing on she had taken out on the edge of their territory in the entrance to the volcanic terrain. All by herself, she noted smugly. Prey was becoming very easy for her to kill, usually she selected the smallest and weakest from the wandering herds of caribou that wandered about the lands every now and then. Sure, every member got their fill atleast once a week. Three or five wolves would take out one or two of them and share with everyone. But Volgin went after them all to select her own prize for feasting and shared with none.
Red covered her maw, a pink tongue swooping out to catch the blood before it dripped and guzzle it down. But her black ears caught the sounds of approaching pawsteps in the distance.

The green wolf was glad to be within the safety of the packlands agian. He thought to himself that he should try to hunt, get himself some bit of meat. Reicher had made sure he'd eaten well enough to keep him alive, but Fairfax never took more than he needed. He didn't want to be a burden to his master. For that reason, he had gained little weight since his establishment in the pack. He was no longer on the brink of starvation, and that was enough.
The area was relatively clear, many of the pack wolves seemed to be off. Fair tried not to be paranoid in thinking what they might be doing. Hunting was a good bet. There was one very hard to miss wolf around. She lay down, thick, and unattractively splayed over a rock. His mistress. She was knawing on something wth a delightful smell, only reminding him of his hunger.
