After jazz rehearsal my friend pointed out somthing that caught my attention. The bridge in Chameleon! From the Headhunters album ever listen to the actual bridge? It's there and it's really cool but i wonder why all the arrangements i've played including real and fakebooks never include it.

Ever come across something like that?

Most real/fakebooks are notorious for being incorrect. Things can range from wrong notes in the head to excessive chord changes to wrong changes.

I know the bass line myself... if you'd like me to give it... hey! But as for the rest it'd take really long to figure out. I've always wanted to play that too. I played sousaphone for the pep band version of it. Man, that and Celebration Suite (by Chick Corea) were the two awesomest pep band songs ever.

even in popular music this happens. For instance, I was the first one of anyone I know to notice that in Bohemian rhapsody they say "never never never" (let me gooooooooooooooo)
