Nikki glared at him and she just had it. She had it with his attitude, with the pathetic excuse for a prince he was, and the way her treated everyone. "Me? A pathetic excuse for a human? What about you! You sit all day mourning about the loss of your stupid heart. Well get a life and move on! You are so many things Vince, bad things! A jerk, a stupid idiot, a self-centered brat, a heartless man, and, most of all, a pathetic excuse of a living creature! Don't tell me how to speak to you because I have a mind of my own and I'm using it however I feel. Even if that's telling you what a jerk you are!" she snarled, taking a threatening step toward him. He needed a wake up call, and if he was too stupid to see that then she would make him see that. "I feel sorry for Oddette because she has to live with you! You act like you don't remember anything! Your friends, your family, even your own sister, you treat them like their pieces of dirt! And you know what, Vince? I'm sick and tired of you feeling that it's all about you! You lost your heart, big deal! That doesn't change anything! The poeple you cared for you both Ella took your heart away still care for you, you are still the same person, and you are still a prince. So maybe you should start acting like one! Because, if you don't, it's going to be a sad day when you become king. So maybe you should try to grow up and open your eyes. Maybe then things will change, maybe you'll even get your heart back. I don't know what your future has in store for you! But I do know that if you don't even try to change, everything is going to stay the same." Nikki's eyes were blazing with anger and rage. She hated the way Vince was, she hated it! Why couldn't he just wake up and try to change? If he couldn't even try, he was more useless then anything that had ever walked the earth, and Nikki meant it. Everything she had just said, she meant it all. She used to care about Vince, she'd been his friend and he'd been one of her best friends, but that was all over now.

Vince attempted to yell at Nikki, but froze. Everything she said began to sink in. He even felt something other than the normal hatred he always felt. What was it? Sadness? Regret? He couldn't tell. He slowly sat in his seat with a shocked expression, a hand over the area his heart would be.
Ella looked at Vince. He's on his way, she thought.

Nikki had prepared herself for Vince to yell back, but she could tell that he wasn't going to. She watched him carefully as he sat. She could tell he was confused and that her words had finally hit him head on. Nikki's eyes calmed a bit but her face remained straight as she watched the prince. Maybe he really could become the prince she had once known, maybe he just needed a little help. Nikki slowly sat down again and ran her fingers through her hair. She didn't say a word to Vince, she just let him think about what he had heard. The Elf princess glanced at Ella and then toward the others before turning her attention back to Vince. She stared at him and kept silent, soemthing that was hard for Nikki at times.

Vince glanced at Nikki then looked back at Odette. "M-My...sister..." he whispered. He quickly shook his head and looked at everyone. "What?" he yelled. He looked at Nikki and sneered. "It was just a moment, ok?"

Nikki rolled her eyes and the anger returned to her eyes. She stood up and leaned over Vince, her face right in his and she stared him straight in the eyes. "You know, for a moment there you actually made me believe that you were human," she hissed. He was finally making a little progress and then he just gives up! if he didn't want to change, then she surely wouldn't help him.

I say, we should let them go with a warning. I think they've learned their lesson." she said as she stood up and stretched her black wings. She turned to look at the council and smiled. "As for you, I think you all should take a....what's it called? Oh yeah! A chill pill. This world doesn't stop revolving just because each one of you have a minor crisis. You should all take the day off to enjoy what your precious lives gave you. Because if you spend all of your time being heartless, angry, stubborn, or just plain old upset, you'll miss out on all the chances to be happy. Get it. Got it. Good!" she said with a giggle as she sent her happy aura around the room to everyone. She sat back in her seat and closed her eyes as she hummed a tune that reminded her of Germany.

Take time to realize that I am on your side. Odette let raised her head and looked at the Peacekeeper and Park Owner. Her eyes showed gratefulness, but she was still in tears. "Thank you, Lulu, Vanessa," she whispered softly, bowing her head. She would've kissed each womans' cheeks, but she was chained up, so the Victorian could not thank the two properly.Victorian Princess

She then looked back at Odette and her expression became serious, which rarely ever happened. "Don't let your big brother get you down. He's not your problem. Plus, this is a thing he has to figure out on his own." she whispered to her before she looked back at the council, waiting for everyone's final decision.

Ella nodded slowly. "A warning it is then." She snapped her fingers, releasing Melrose and Odette from the chains. "But you will be watched for the next few months." she said and got up from her seat.
Vince groaned and got up. He walked up to Odette and stared hard and coldly at her then left the room.

Take time to realize that I am on your side. Odette watched her brother leave then watched the Peacekeeper go. She was shaking with rage and sorrow- rage at her brother for being such a b@$t@rd and sorrow for being so harsh to him. She rubbed her wrists after the bounds had gone and let out a soft sigh. Her thoughts cleared of all bad thoughts and she suddenly squealed, jumping into Melrose's arms. "We're freeeeeee!" she sang, planting a passionate kiss on the vampire's lips.Victorian Princess

Her hand was on her neck while her thumb gently stroked her cheek. She reluctantly broke the kiss and smiled at Odette. "Well, we're sort of free. We're going to be watched from now on. But other than that, yes, we're free." she said as she gave her another quick peck. "And don't worry about your brother. Lulu is right about that. It is something he has to deal with on his own." she said as she smiled brightly at her.
