The home of many greek places: Gardens of Hesperides, Alcatraz Prison, palace of Eos, mountain of the Titans, an entrance of the underworld(?), supposedly the home to Nereus, the place where Atlas holds up the sky, and the city is filled with the most mist. Though, it's is also the home of many monsters.

(( Hm... Don't really know much 'bout this place. But oh well. Feel free to edit Moneta or crew. ))

She was pretty sure the god hated her. Sure, he had taken some interest in her, but what was he doing now? That was a night. A night, nothing more. He hadn't asked for the rest. And she had forced him to have the rest. To swallow it down like a good little god he could be. And now what? What was she gaining from showing some weakness to him? Nothing. Really, she should have just given up on the god, refusing his help, and disappearing for the Aegean. Or Kirke's island. There the stupid god wouldn't have to disrupt her, knowing that the daughter of Hekate would hate it if the god stumbled upon her resort. No, she could have simply forgotten about the god, the children she had mothered, everything. And then maybe the god would leave her alone. Was that what she wanted? Brushing some black hair from her eyes as she watched Poseidon disappear, and then Kratos and Eileithyia. She stood in the hospital room, her hands touching the table that held the ambrosia, watching her sister with little interest. It wasn't that she didn't care about the well being of her sister, which she did, it was just that she was simply far to bored and lost in her thoughts. She was tempted to not follow Poseidon, that would teach him, but her stubbornness wouldn't get her anywhere. Was it simply because she liked him more than she would guess? Or was it hope? Her olive eyes turned to her sister, throwing a weak smile, before she threw a final look at her wings. Snowy white and plain, she was already missing them. Would they grow back? Or would she remain wingless? That would be pure torture and embarrassment for her, but she was sure that she could get enough ambrosia to grow back her wings, and if she couldn't, she could certainly get Athena or Daedalus to make her wings.Or even Arachne to sow new ones for her. She had some possibilities.

Why had she taken such a guise? Did she want to mess around with the King of the Seas that much? Or did she just want to get into less trouble. She rarely appeared as a child, but that day the disguise of a teen did seem appropriate. Maybe she wanted to tease Poseidon, she was unsure. Appearing in San Fransisco, she plugged her nose at the disgusting smell. Her mortal was wearing her usual tight clothing, wearing a few bracelets on her wrists. It felt awkward not having her wings, but she supposed that it would be best just to suck it up. Though, she hadn't really had a childhood, had she? She had been born, fed some nectar, and then was with Zeus, fighting and holding her torch. Was that one of the reasons Nike had not really tied with the goddesses of childbirth and fertility, seeing as they didn't really have a purpose? There was no motherhood. The god was born, then they would be stuffed with ambrosia and nectar, and then poof, they were a god. They didn't need their parents looking at them, getting care of them or making sure they're tunics looked good. Her wings had grown large since she was a child, ever since she had been young they were snowy white and gorgeous. She sighed, cracking her thumbs slightly as her youthful eyes looked around for someone that looked like he was going on a cruise. That was what he usually wore, so he was always easy to spot. Yet, she couldn't find him, so instead she simply sighed. Where were they? Near the docks. Boats attached to the pier, they bobbed, barnacle attached to the dock. With a sigh, she found herself looking around for the god once more, still not finding him. Had she taken to much time to leave Monticarlo, and he had given up on her? A sigh escaped her lips as she found herself walking down to the end a dock, dangling her legs off, only the tips of her toes touching the water.

While the Nike the goddess of Nike sat on the edge of a dock waiting for Poseidon god of the Sea a young man who was apart of there world was standing on a beach looking out at the sea. This young man was named Odysseus McBrain, but everyone knew him as Matt. Matt was a demigod but of who no one knew. Matt would have probably cared if he didn't have such a go with the flow personality. He had just figured that his Father had to many kids to deal with and Matt was one of the ones that he didn't have time for. It was understandable as Gods were busy and forgetful creatures. Plus Matt didn't need another father in his life especially one that never paid him any attention. He already had a father albeit a foster father, but a foster father was better then no father at all. Matt had been standing on the beach for quite some time waiting for his best friend Alexis who was supposed to be here by now so that they could go surfing together. So far she was a no show which was odd as she had never been late to surfing ever, well for as long Matt had been friends with her. This made Matt worry a bit as usually if things start to become odd and strange like they were now becoming it usually meant a monster was about to pop out from nowhere. Looking around he didn't notice any monster but in the distance where the docks were he saw a girl about his age sitting down her feet dangling over the water. For some reason the girl gave off a almost godly presence and because of that the girl had become a person of interest to Matt. Though he wasn't going to go talk to her today if he saw her after today then he would talk right now he wanted to surf.

Having already changed into his wet suit before getting a ride from one of his friends Matt was ready to enter the water. Matt wasn't the only surfer on this part of the beach but he was probably one of the best. Mostly it was because of natural talent so Matt had always assumed his dad had something to do with the sea but there were many Gods of the sea so it was tough to figure out even then which one it was. Still Matt hadn't thought about the subject for long soon enough it faded from his mind just like everything he didn't want to think about did. Swimming out a bit he sat quietly on his board his eyes scanning the seas for the perfect wave. Years of surfing had taught him how to read the waves so he would be able to find the perfect wave before most of the rest of the surfers would. Then he spotted what he knew was going to be a perfect wave or in surfer lingo Off the Hook. Getting in position for the wave Matt started paddling so he would be able to ride the wave. Once the wave started carrying him forward Matt in one jump stood up this was called a Pop-up. Once he did that all he needed to do now was ride the wave and try not to wipe out. As he rode the wave Matt pulled off an Ariel Method Air before reentering the wave to continue the ride. Behind Matt the wave was beginning to break and soon the break over took him but that was only because Matt had let it. He had done this so that he could ride inside the wave for at least a few second before he would be force to ride out or wipe out. Riding inside the tube was a breath taking experience and no matter how many times he tube ride he would never get enough of it. Matt couldn't stay in the tube forever and soon enough he rode out of the tube and finally the wave died down leaving Matt back to where he started looking for the perfect wave. Sitting back down on the board he noticed that Alexis had finally arrived and with a smile on his face he started paddling back to shore.

"One must prepare for the worst when out in sea. You'll never know when the sea will thrash..."
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Hair longer than last time and the green eyes a little darker, the man in his usual clothing walked along the dock looking of the goddess of victory. Waves crashing filled his ears as his bare feet touched the wooden dock and his eyes turned towards a surfer who had caught his interest out of all the other mortals. Ears huge as ever, green eyes matching his son's, Triton, eyes, black hair like other past children. He looked as if he was the master of the waves as he surfed and Poseidon couldn't help but snicker a little. The god knew perfectly well that the goy was in fact a demigod, but was it his? No, no. His newest son was Sosigenes, raised by Notus in Miami, all the way across the country. Plus, the others that actually went to camp where somewheres in Hawaii, not California. The reason, Nereus. So smelly, not giving a care in the world the fish deity was. As his thoughts came back to reality, he noticed the boy was now paddling back to shore for a girl. Oh, young romance and soon to be past romance. The child would soon have to leave to camp to learn to fight monsters, of course. And he would probably be a fool like most other half-bloods and date one of Aphrodite's children. Exhaling, the sea breeze got stronger at the beach as his phone started to vibrate to indicate that he had a new text.

To:Everyone
From: The loveliest Aphrodite
OMG! You all will never believe what news I have! Kratos and Eielthyia eloped! Not only that but you know how she's been pregnant for a while? Well not anymore! A few days ago, somewhere in Colorado, she deliver 5 adorable babes to Kratos' name. One set of triplets, two boys and a winged girl, and one set of identical twin girls! I haven't seen them yet, but news spreads fast when the goddess of love! Anyway, see you all at the next family meeting! Ciao!

Why did Aphrodite send this message to him in the first place? He really didn't care 'bout Kratos and Eielthyia and nobody else did either. Plus, wasn't this Hermes's or Iris's job anyway? Putting his phone up with gladness to know Kratos was now going to be to busy to pop-up, Poseidon started to walk off to finish his search for Victoria. Green eyes scanned the area for an older looking goddess. His results, nothing. But one teenage looking girl spared his interest like the boy did. She wore the same clothing as Nike and had the same olive colored eyes and most importantly, victory seemed to radiate off her. Boats keep floating on the waves where the girl sat, her toes in the water, and Neptune sat next to her. "Why the sudden change in looks, Nikey? You barely, if ever, choose to look like a teen," he asked her, now laying on the wooden and unsteady dock. Some fishes jumped out of the water as humans took no notice to the two immortals.

O.O.C: Gosh. Gotta edit this layout a little bit more so I can put more in my posts

Watching the surfer with no interest did Nike start to change. In truth, there was a reason why the goddess of victory rarely took the guise of a teenager. Why? Simply because of the change in emotions and personality. Young Nike was probably the daimonai of simple victories that Greece never really got to see, seeing as they were blinded by other things. She brought in good crops, she was the sign of a good forty year long relationship. But yet, the older Nike didn't like this guise for her babbling, idiotic personality that came along with this form. As her feet touched the water playfully did she start to hum a random hymn to Zeus, much like the ones she was bound to hear sung by the Kharites on Mount Olympos. The deck creaked as footsteps approached and, with a look behind her did she realize it was Poseidon. Sitting down, he threw her a look before asking her a simple question, which Nike didn't exactly hear. Wrapping her youthful arms around him, she hugged the god tightly. Sure, the god was laying on the docks, meaning she was actually laying on him slightly, but young Victoria really didn't seem to notice that much. "Poseidon!"she squealed, only to have realized what she had done, and quickly snapped away. Her cheeks now the color of red apples, she leaned away from the Lord of the Seas, embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry, L-Lord Poseidon.. Got a little carried away,"she apologized weakly, her younger voice going through the air. "Maybe I-I should just.."she started, but stopped, allowing her full attention to be brought by the waves.

Alexis and Matt were only friends not lovers and they probably never would be. Both of them were afraid what would happen to them if they became that close to one another. They had seen some many friendships ruined that way and they didn't want theirs to be ruined. So for now they were only friends and that was it. Alexis and Matt talked for a little bit mainly about there day and about how awesome the waves were today. In no time at all both went back out on the water to surf together and to show up the newbies and veterans as everyone knew that Alexis was the best surfer in the town though Matt was pretty close when it came to catching up with her. However Alexis wasn't her usual self there was a look of fear in her eyes but Matt knew not to ask Alexis. Alexis usually was all over the waves but she merely stood back and watched as Matt surfed though he gaze did shift out to sea on numerous occasions as if she was expecting something was about to appear out of the horizon something only she, and the two Gods on the docks could sense something that was coming from the depths of the sea itself.

"One must prepare for the worst when out in sea. You'll never know when the sea will thrash..."
_____________________________________________________________________________________

The humming of a prayer for his brother had stopped as Nike took attention to him. Soft, but strong hands wrapped around Poseidon's torso as Nike got on him. Sex immediately popped into his mind. After all, she and him where, or as he thought, not being watched. As his hand started to reach to take off her tight clothes, she had jumped off him, unaware of what his intentions where. Though, her rose colored cheeks told him she probably wanted the same thing but didn't want him to know. Her weak, stuttering voice had apologized. Did she really think he cared? Not one bit. In fact, he enjoyed it. Before he could think much more on the apology, she had started to say something that interested him. Sadly, her voice trailed off as her attention was now stuck on the waves pushing and pulling each other. "Maybe you should just be quiet and relax and we do out thing," he finished for her, hoping she knew what he meant by thing. Something 'bout her new look... Just that young look made him have more lusty thoughts than usual and the thought of returning to Amphitrite made him sick. A small muffled sound of thunder sounded that only gods could probably hear. Zeus must've known 'bout his daughters affair his his other servant and probably started to reck his whole palace again. Boy, people sure liked to anger Neptune's brother, but then again, it was so simple just like any other Big Three. After a couple of seconds, the thunder ceased and now only the sounds of waves and wind filled their ears.

@Thing #2: Uh... Is that something from the sea is a gigantic sea monster? If so, you better loose to it. 'Cause like, Poseidon(aka me) sends them out, and like if one of the other sea gods sent it, it most likely wouldn't be aimed at you so it'd be like uber strong.
Geeze. I use like to much xD

Her brows furrowed the next time he spoke. Wait, what? Maybe her young mind didn't jump to things like that as quickly as the older one, but it took her some time to grasp what the King of the Seas wanted from her. Her fingers moved away from the god as she looked at the waves with that same look of innocence, her green eyes staring hard at the water. Was that all he really thought about? Sex? Certainly he had more things to do over the course of the day than fantasize of the newest nymph. Or Nike form. She licked her lips and then swallowed nervously, her eyes turning from the waves to the god, her eyes watching his rather lusty smile. Was he enjoying this? Her nervousness and anxiety? Of course, many Greek women were already married by this time back home in Ancient Greece, but she didn't really think like that constantly. And she couldn't help but feel even weaker by the god's asking. She took her left hand and rubbed her shoulder anxiously, feeling the gashes in her skin from the wings that had been cut out. "N-no, Poseidon.. Not now.. Especially not now. I-I'm ugly without my wings, and you've got the wrong me,"she said politely, trying not to get on the god's nerves. Young Nike really didn't want to piss off Lord Poseidon, but as the words left her lips, she knew she was making him mad. Now she wished she had just remained silent and allowed the god to do whatever he pleased, but she was victory.. If she didn't want to do something, she wouldn't have to do it, right? "And anyways, m-mortals and half-bloods can see,"she added, trying not to sound that bad.

What ever was coming Alexis knew it wasn't coming for Matt but instead for Lord Poseidon who see would have recognize anywhere. She was an Oceanid a daughter to Titans Oceanus and Tethys, as well as one of the many sisters of Amphitrite Poseidon wife and she knew her sister would love to know just exactly what Poseidon was doing at the moment. However that could wait as right now she wanted to get Matt away from the beach though convincing him would be difficult if not to late already. Although the mortals couldn't see the affects of this being and possibly neither could Matt , Alexis could and she knew the two gods would be able to do so as well. On the horizon dark clouds started forming from the strong mist this unknown being had around it. It wasn't long till even the mortals could tell something was wrong the sea was churning the waves becoming more and more dangerous and the sky was becoming more and more dark by the second. Even then she knew it would be near impossible to convince Matt to leave as he was known to surf even in conditions such as these though this time he might not survive.

Matt was enjoying what he thought was an oncoming storm it made the surfing experience all that much more exciting to him. Though if it got to bad he would head back to shore. Sadly it was to late for him to willingly head back. From the depths of the sea a mighty shock wave rolled through the water caused by the what ever was coming. The sea was starting to bubble and a dark shadow appeared getting bigger and bigger. Then a mighty monster of the deep burst forth through the water a thunderous roar issuing forth from his mouth. Matt stared at the things his eyes wide with fear as he looked at this gigantic beast of the sea that was taller then anything Matt had ever seen it made a cruise ship look like a bath toy. The monster had a long snake like tail , a bloody red body like that of a man, with four powerful arms connected to it, but that wasn't the scary part it was its face that scared Matt the most with piercing reds eyes that turned your muscles to jelly and would probably kill you just through fear then there was its teeth it had rows of them in its mouth each one as deadly as the last.

Luckily the monster didn't notice Matt nor could it find who ever it was looking for as it was expecting someone a lot bigger then what Poseidon was at the moment. That didn't mean Matt was safe as when the sea monster's fist slammed into the sea it created a wave so large and powerful that not even Matt had a chance. Just before the wave was upon him he looked to find Alexis but she was gone and he was all alone. The wave was soon upon him and Matt was left to its mercy and he was sure that he would be dead for sure. However he didn't in the confusion that was the inside of the wave Matt didn't know what he was seeing but he though he saw a girl swimming effortless through the wave who grabbed him and saved him. Thats what he thought he had seen but what he knew was that he had just slammed hard into the beach and his head was throbbing from the collision.

Standing up Matt held his head with one hand as he tried to keep his balance as he looked out at sea his eye sight all blurry and disoriented from the hot. Despite that he knew it wasn't the monster he had to deal with other creatures of the sea had followed it to San Francisco. Such as a Giant Crab and these weird things with the faces of dogs and the body of a sea lion. Whatever they were Matt knew they weren't friendly as the moment they saw him about a dozen of the freaky dog/seal things were charging at him the crab right behind them. He was screwed this fight he probably wouldn't survive he had no weapon this time no way to get away quick enough he was just screwed or so he thought. Just as the creatures neared him something caught his eye and as he looked to his left he saw a bronze sword come flying out of nowhere towards him. This blade was familiar to him as when ever a monster attacked him it always appeared in one form or another. Matt never really paid much attention to it has the moment the monsters were dead it was gone. Catching the sword Matt brought it in front of him just in time to block a strike from one of the dog creatures and then the battle was one between him and them while in the back ground the Giant Sea Monster was still looking for its prey.

On, and on the winged goddess studdered trying to make excuses to not wanting to do it. Her wingedless, her wrong age, and now people seeing them. Did all attraction for him wash away with her change in age? No, it couldn't have. His mind was so clustered with thoughts that it took him a couple of seconds till he finally heard screaming on the beach shore. Eyes turned to the demon that had appeared out of the forocious sea. It's luminous red eyes stared back, exchanging silent words. The red, scaly fish bottom kept moving under the water, the shadow of it giving it away. It's mouthes smiled at Neptune devilishly. One of it's four arms suddenly slammed down onto the sandy, ocean floor, causing a gigantic wave to crash right on top of Nike, Poseidon, and other bystanders. The triton quickly appeared in his left hand as it broke the wave from crashing into the wingless goddess of victory and himself. 'What in the world is going on?' was all the god could think when the gigantic crab had appeared from under that water's surface. With the triton pointed at the first sea serpent beasty first, a tealish colored beam shot out of the tips of the three tips and was aimed at the fish tail. The water flashed, but the creature was still standing. Different from most beast it was. Then what was it's weak spot? Mouth? Armpits? Belly? He didn't know and didn't care to spend much time thinking 'bout it. 10 flashes of light came out of the triton and all where fired aimlessly. Though, not all were necessary since the sea serpent had been replaced with a pile of damp, golden sand that kinda floated on the water's surface. Now, it was the crab's turn to be vanquished. Once again, sea green and tealish lights flashed off the crab but it appeared to be unaffected. It had it be that stinkin' shell around it! The only thing that wasn't covered in it was it's small, beady eyes and it's whisker thingys. But neither of those would be it's weak spot. 'Look closely,' was all the echoed in the King of Sea's mind. A semi-small opening was under it's eyes. That's must've been it. Poseidon launched his triton into the air, aiming for it to go inside that small crack in the armor.

Matt fought against the weird see creatures, his mind going into an auto pilot as he hacked, slashed, blocked, and parried attacks. Matt didn't know how he was fighting like this but right now he honestly didn't care right now he was in for a fight for his life and he was not going to lose. Each monster his blade cut through exploded into a fine golden dust that smelled of sulfur. However for everyone monster he killed two replaced it. Matt didn't know how long he was going to last but then the crab swiped a claw at him and caught him right in the chest sending him flying head of heels into the water. The moment Matt hit the water he felt as if he had just had the best night of sleep ever, and he noticed that he wasn't even wet. Matt however didn't have much time to think about it as more of those seal/wolf like monsters were coming after him again. Standing in the shallows with water up to his waist Matt lifted his sword and let out a roar and as he went to charging a twenty foot wave burst forth before him slamming into the monsters and sending them careening into the beach.

Matt turned to take out the crab but before he even took a step towards it a trident pierced it through a small crack in its armor and instantly the monster faded away into that same golden sand the other monsters had turned to. Everything was going good for Matt now the monsters stopped coming and the ones that had already arrived were dieing off quickly against Matt's blade. Soon the monsters started fleeing back into the ocean and as Matt went to charged them something came over him as if someone else was trying to take control of his body"I am Odysseus McBrain, Son of Triton!"Matt yelled out as he poured out his rage into a wave that crashed into the monsters taking them down back to the depths. Matt fell to his knees completely exhausted and about ready to pass out. The wave had taken a lot of energy from him and he still had no idea what was going on. All he knew was that his world had just come crashing down around him. Looking up at the sky Matt saw a sea green conch shell floating above him and passed out on the beach.
