Name:Syaoran Masamune

Bio: Syaoran Masamune was a refugee from another village. After a brutal clan war decimated his home village, he fled to Gaioh, where he enrolled in the ninja academy. His skillful use of the fire element won him rapidly through the ranks, making him one of the first Jounin in the newly rebuilt village. But it was his rivalry with plant-nin terror Chaos Jimetsuogi that garnered him his fame (and infamy). His battles with Chaos were the hyper-destructive stuff of legends, and the constant struggles for more power gave both ninja phenomenal strength. They were both selected for ANBU quickly, and it wasn't long before Chaos started to abuse his power, with Syaoran always in opposition.

When Chaos became too powerful, Syaoran vanished, returning with a dangerous technique, and a wicked ally, the fire elemental Djinn. Djinn gave Syaoran the power to defeat Chaos, to transcend even death in his quest to kill his rival.. for a heavy price. After Gaioh crumbled around them, they continued their battles across the continent, Masamune always shadowing Chaos, looking to get even.

Bloodline: Ichijin clan- Air Movement skill: The bloodline of the Ichijin allows them to tread currents of air much like normal ninja would walk on water. Syaoran was one of the (if not the) most proficient wielders of this ability.

Special Weapons: Rage- A sentient blade, one of three such legendary weapons once possessed by the Ichijin. Rage was previously owned by Chaos, who passed it on to Masamune. The sword can possess its owner, and is intrinsically vicious in temperament. It has the power to lash out with strands of dark energy called the Black Ribbons.
Syaoran is proficient with all but the most obscure weapons, and often devises new ones to keep his foes guessing. Notable are his command of ninja puppetry (two of his appendages used to be puppet-limbs), and swordsmanship. But his favorite weapon is his body. Before he changed his focus to weaponry, he specialized in Taijutsu, and thus has the ability to open all his chakra gates (several of his fire jutsu depend on this skill).
