Once upon a time, Ants in Your Pants, the original captain, had created a thread about different faery websites and gave us all links. The downside to it was that only she could post in it but, I remember it rarely got used. I would like to call out to you all and ask to give links to different websites you feel give great information about faeries and other mythical creatures. We all know about monstopia, which was given to us from Lunar-heartbreak. I will create an official list of all the different websites that we get in here, you are welcome to make banners or just post links it doesn't matter to me, we will have 2 sections 1 for just names and 1 for banners.

These will be links to websites as well as pages on Gaia. Anywhere that we can read information that is resonably acurate (this word is definately up for debate because who says 1 story is right and 1 is wrong). No Disney sites please. Pixie Hollow, Tinkerbell, and her friends are the Disney version and rarely reflect the faerie realm.

A lot of the cultures referenced here are closed traditions, what that means is that if you see stuff in these books that feels right or like an accurate description of the fairies, Take it as that, but not necessarily as an accurate description of the myth itself the way it was believed in the culture being described.

I like to take new names to my beliefs. If I feel pixies are real, it might feel unfair to Cornwall to say that the ones I believe in are actually pixies. I do fall in love with certain words over time though.

does anyone know of any good fairy artists? someone who does commissions that aren't too expensive?
