First off, excellent song. I got to see them in concert. Favorite band. Second off. I like the build very much. It seems very very consistent. I dont think you really need the PoA. With Morphing Jar and the speed of the deck its not needed. That being said I might suggest Lighting Vortex or a teched Soul Exchange.

Depending on the necessity of Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, wouldn't Super-Nimble Mega Hamster serve as a better recruiter over Gravekeeper's Spy?

I think Spy is in there more for grabbing another Spy to serve as tribute fodder for Caius or for Synching rather than for Recruitment. That being said one Hamster might help. Dunno.

@Fresh Porn: It's not needed. Every Synchro that I can make with Plague (the ideal Level 2 Tuner) can be made just as easily without it. The only exception would be Armory Arm, but I don't use it in the first place.

@Persian: This is how I see it (regarding Pot of Avarice):

First and foremost, this deck does not load the Graveyard up with monsters nearly as quickly or as repeatedly as Flamecat did. Two Avarice was staple in there, but I definitely feel that two would be very inconsistent for this deck, especially without Summoner Monk (who in and of himself is inconsistent without Rescue Cat as the ideal target). However, there are still enough ways to (in theory) efficiently feed a single copy of Avarice, but I have a few concerns with it. The Flamvell monsters, once in the Graveyard, usually want to stay there for use with Rekindling. Avarice contradicts this if I'd have to include them as part of it's 5 targets (more so if I don't have "extra" Flamvells to leave behind). It's not a huge problem, but situation pending, it could still be annoying to have to choose one or the other. Avarice can also cause issues for the DARK monsters in relation to Dark Armed Dragon. This isn't as problematic though, because it can also regulate the DARK count, and recycling the Gravekeeper lineup/Caiuses/Gale/Gorz is always a good thing (it can also give me a second chance at Dark Armed if I mill it with Ryko). All in all I think it will work despite the possible drawbacks, which is why I ended up including it, but if testing proves otherwise I'll cut it for a third Rekindling or something.

Lightning Vortex is a possible Side Deck option at best, and barely even worth a slot for that right now. It phases in and out of the meta, but Starlight Road is going to be huge this format, and Vortex is just another way to walk into it with a bigger minus to yourself. Soul Exchange is a definite no; I only have 3 cards that it can be used with.

@Ryan: For this deck, Spy > Hamster. Spy is a DARK for Dark Armed, a Spellcaster for Arcanite, doesn't lose to Firedogs (or pretty much any other Level 4 monster for that matter) and is much faster than Hamster when it's flipped on your turn. Ryko is an excellent card, but it's not pivotal enough to this deck to sacrifice more consistent cards to support it.

Hmm. Ok. I see what your saying now. Makes a lot of sense. Thanks for taking the time to explain that.
