Captain_Shinzo eramthgin a ni remaerd To think the world will never end is narcissistic. People seem to think we are invincible. As if our earth and race will live forever. It won't.

If you chose the left or right, of course it will be silly. The world gets into troubles many times causing catastrophic problems. However, we also have thousands of little theories we make everyday that turns out to be BS.
So, of course the world has the possibility of extinction. The only problem is that we aren't really giving it as much credit as we should.All the theories have been made in a 60 year proximity that is current in our generation. Personally, I think we will view the world's end. But I agree some people freak out about it. Perhaps the world may end in 2012. Perhaps not. But who are we to say that it is definitely not going to end on that date, or that it definitely will? We must only keep the possibility open in our minds to hopefully sheild it slightly from the shock of when it actually occurs.

saying the world is going to end on one day is true not everything in the world live for ever u have to die some time and dec 21 or 31 it doesn't matter if the world end it ends. when it does there's nothing u can do about it because ur dead and life if going to go on weather ur there are not.
It only take one second for some thing to happen and it's only going to take one second for the world to end and ruin ur life

The world cant end if it was never created in the first place.

A small note. Did the mayan calender happen to also calculate such things as leap years? If not, we would have most likely ended months or even years ago. I doubt years but you get my point.

It's a ridiculous misinterpretation of the Mayan prophesy. only a select few of the prophecies that calculate something happening in 2012 are about the end of the world. most of it is just a new age dawning, one that is significantly different then the one we are used to. also, the age of aquarius begins around the time of the 2012 apocalypse theory. i am pretty sure it begins on the 21st or 25th... but i cannot remember.
