hello, i thought i would make my first entry post by showing you guys a recent poem i wrote. i know i have bad grammar and what not, so please be nice...well thats about it, enjoy. its set around the last ep, i know this is not what happened but hey, a fangirl can dream cant she? 3nodding


Warning: there is abit of blood and gore, if your sensitive to this, please dont read!


This night, this place, its all too real
The enemy before us, the way you feel
It’s all too much, yet we stand and still fight
Hoping if we got each other we will make it out all right.
No one else is standing, were all that’s left, it’s now or never
Either we win or every thing is lost, we cant afford to lose now, no matter what the cost.
The enemy is coming closer, I hear his footsteps running at us, I know its all over now
In the beginning he even had us.
A futile swing, a deafening cling, and like that I am thrown away
I turn just in time to see the enemy take your fragile life, the pain I feel in my heart cuts me like a knife.
I see you fall to the ground, a gasp leaving your lips, I run to your side to catch you knowing its too late, it never was suppost to end like this, it wasn’t your fate.
A cry escapes from me, holding you close to my heart, I want it to be the last thing you hear before your soul takes part, along with my soft spoken words.
‘I love you, Maka, we’ll never be apart’
By now, its much too late, I feel your body go limp as you fade away, apart of me wanted to say those words sooner, if only they would make you stay.
My tears fall onto your body as I let my emotions go, not realizing the enemy is still hovering over us, readying himself for the final blow.
Blood floods my vision as he delivers the final attack, I feel my body weakening as it twists and goes slack.
With all the strength left within me, I hold on my lover tight as we both fall to the ground, landing on the stone road bouncing without a sound.
As I lay dying, I lean in and gently touch her lips, staying that way for awhile before I go limp.
It was too bad we couldn’t share that kiss together, while we were still alive, our first last kiss together, right after we both died.

well what do you guys think?

im not that into poems and yours seemed a bit long but I applaude you for the enthuiasim and maybe an avid poet will pass by ^^

i thinks it's really good, but just a little bit long

I understand it's fairly long but that means you have found a subject you really know well and can open up to which is hard for a poet so i applaud your effort! I used to write poetry but i moved to story writing and drawing, but i can still tell you have very good ideas and the courage to prove it. smile
