Chou glanced up at the sky again then looked back to her when she nudged him. "I-I'm okay. I f-fall all the time," he said smiling, then frowned. "But how could anyone miss you? You're so pretty. He blushed lightly.

Blushes some. "M-most don't see it like th-that..." his colors were bright and colorful indeed. She felt so plain and insignificant beside him.

He smiled again at her blush and moved to a more comfortable position, sitting instead of laying on his back. "Aww...well they don't know what they're looking at," he murmured and blushed again, nudging her with a paw lightly.

Blushing a bit more she nudged him back some. "W-well.. m-maybe, and m-maybe not..." She gave a small shrug and cast her eyes down some. As she looked up the rain began to fall as a light sprinkle, just enough to dampen her fur some. "It's r-raining..." She frowned some.

He squeaked a bit as he felt the rain on him, and his ears lay back against his head. "Ah, um...c-could wuh..we m-maybe find sh-shelter? I...dun like it when it rains..." he looked at her with a bit of fear in his eyes, a little blush to his cheeks as well.

Looking at the sky for a moment, she nodded. Wouldn't do he any good to catch a chill and become sick. "Sure... You k-know of a p-place near by?" She looked around checking to see if anything was close by to hide under and wait out the storm.

"N-no...was h-hoping you did," he murmured with a shake of his head before looking around. "M-maybe there's one o-over there?" he wondered and pointed with one paw over a nearby hill.

Shrugging it was worth a look. Giving a small stretch to her body that had been previously lazing about in the sun, she headed towards the hill he'd pointed off. "P-possibly..."

Chou followed her, his tail twitching the more it rained. "H-hope s-so.." he stammered and moved a little quicker, though not too fast. He didn't want to leave Makoto behind even if the rain frightened him.

They reached the hill not to long after they'd set out for it. Walking around on top of the hill, she looked around for shelter, not seeing anything but rabbit holes that would be too small for a wolf to attempt to crawl into. Sighing, she looked out further as the rain seemed to get harder. another hill looked to be in the distance and this one had a considerable amount of rocks.. maybe there was a big enough rock sticking out they could hide under.

Chou whined a bit when they didn't find a cave to take cover, and as he looked at Makoto, he looked down her line of sight and saw the big rocks. "W-wanna try over there?" he asked softly, waiting for her decision, but glancing back and forth, inching closer to the rocks.

Nodding she had taken a step forward when the sky cracked and gave way to thunder and lightning that scattered through the clouds. the down fall seemed to only grow harder. Wincing, her ears drooped. "W-we better hurry..."
