Just found this out folks, it's hot off the internet presses!
Lair of the Shadow Broker will be released early next month for $10 USD (800 Microsoft Points), and 'The new DLC will take players from the "luxurious heights of Illium to the Shadow Broker's own secret lair" and will add the Shadow Broker intel center, new research options, five new achievements and "the chance to continue a relationship with Liara."'
That's right Liara lovers, you will have the chance to continue your romance with that cute baby blue asari with the freckles. (Us Kaidan and [to a lesser extent] Ash lovers will however have to continue our wait.)
EDIT: Straight from the horse's mouth (or rather Christina Norman's mouth via Twitter), Lair of the Shadow Broker is set to be released on September 7th!

My love for Dragon age is well known here...And damn, is it me or is there much more support from bioware to dragon age than to Mass Effect?
I think they officialy decided that Dragon age was their lead franchise...
Happy to have some dlc for mass effect...but we have yet to get a REAL expansion...
Dragon age's world is already more vast in many ways than mass effect...kinda pisses me off...

Doesn't Dragon Age take place in a country or on a continent? Because technically Mass Effect is bigger than that since it takes place in the whole Milky Way.
Or do you mean bigger as in the places you can explore/go to is bigger than that of Mass Effect?

They're making it difficult for me to finally get all the achievements for Mass Effect 2 so that it'll display on my gamer card huh? Nearly done with Insanity which was the last achievement I needed, now gonna need to download Overlord and this one to finish, not that I wasn't gonna download them anyway. Speaking of which did they get rid of that achievement glitch with Overlord?
Actually I always felt Mass Effect 2 was getting more love from Bioware, seen DLC with new weapons and gear more frequently than any of my other favorite games on xbox live, and we got Overlord and then that Lair of the Shadow Broker coming in. Expansion-wise, with Shepard's second largest mission in Mass Effect 2 being completed I dunno what else they could add to it aside from the extra missions they've been adding into the game, but I already love replaying Mass Effect 2 time and time again compared to Dragon Age.
I actually can't wait for Dragon Age 2 to come out already and see how much alike Mass Effect 2 it is with this Hawke character or whatever, since that comes out after Mass Effect 2 it'll prolly be better than Mass Effect 2 even.

Damn that looks intense! Of course it was meant to look intense but that looks intense! Makes Liara look like a really good romance choice now.

I think it was definitely worth the $10, and the info on your squad was really interesting. Did anyone read the "Sexual Liasons" of the Illusive man in the past week? He's a busy guy. It made me mad though that Vasir was more difficult to beat than the actual Shadow Broker. I was expecting that fight to be intense, but it disappointed me, ultimately.

What really ticked me off was the fact I bought it 4 days before the boxing day sale. All that DLC could have been bought with 600MS points I spent over 2000 on.... sweatdrop
