History: Actually raised by her vampire hunter family, Mari's best friend was a vampire named Maria Kurenai. But the person she's closest to is her twin brother, Eidorian. He is stronger than her but she is way smarter. She and her brother were cursed with the Twin Vampire Hunter curse, meaning one was stronger than the other and the other would limp along in a shorter life (Vampire Knight fact). When they turned 12, Mari and Eidorian came to their house after taking Mari's friend back home to see their younger siblings and parents dead. The killer was none other than a strong pure blood vampire Kaname Kuran(Okay, I'm sorry Kaname fans, but I hate that guy)! Eidorian was defeated and Kaname didn't even lay a finger on Mari. He said she would have to wait to be killed. Mari left the house with her Sensei Karu knowing one thing, she can never trust another vampire again. Of course nobody would believe her when she said Kaname Kuran did it, so she became rather lonely considering everyone else who knew was dead, or so she thought. It turns out that her brother was still alive, but now was a level d vampire. When she and her brother finally met once again, Mari was different. She was more quiet and never spoke as much as she used to. She trying to change her ways again for her brother's sake, but how could she do that when somebody out there can kill her any moment. Eventually, Mari faced her fears and went to Cross Academy to face her worst fear, Kaname Kuran. Mari's parents were very close to Headmaster Cross so it was easy to join. She was bitten one night by a vampire unknown to others, but she moved to Lunar Academy to find others like her. Since she's come to Lunar High School, she has made friends with the only two last of her kind, one is unfortunately her half brother. She doesn't always get on best terms with the other, but as she gets used to him she relaxes her anger on vampires. As her eyes used to be red, they turned blue when she became a full dark pure heart vampire.
