Professor McGonagall walks in, her head high and a trail of first years following close behind her. She quickly corrects a few students as she passes by the, before stepping up the steps. Turning around she instructs the first years to spread out a little and wait for their names to be called before unrolling a piece of parchment. Looking at the list she gives a smirk and begins to call the names, and place the hat on the children's heads. Once all the names have been called and the hat is done sorting the first years, she takes her place up at the Headmasters seat, but doesn't sit.
She begins the feast by giving off a speech about the school rules, how the forest is off limits and wishing them all a good school year. She ends her speech by giving it over to the school choir who sings two songs before food appears on the tables. Minerva Mcgonagall takes her seat and begins a conversation with the other professors while watching over her students.
