because im a flute leader 3rd in commanded and are new flute creeps me out any on have the same problem

Last year, I got 7 freshmen total. One of them never showed up, one broke his collar bone, two don't stop talking, one's a bit of a know-it-all, and one is super flamboyant and ADHD... And the other one's just kinda there. All but the girl that never showed up to anything are still here. As sophomores, they're more of a handful this year than my three (so far) freshmen. xD
My freshmen don't really...creep me out, per se, but they don't seem very enthusiastic about doing anything. It bothers me. =P

My freshmen just won't shut up or listen to anyone...actually all the freshmen in the band won't...

We ahd 30 freshman signed up for band. about 5 showed up to band camp, about 10 showed up to band at all when school stated.
We have 1 rookie whose a senior, in my section. He is adhd, and, well, lets just say he needs to locate the drum everyone else marches tooXD Hismarching could use a lto of work, bt hes improving. he takes rpivate elssons...but they dont seem to be helping much.
We have 2 freshman. One showed up to band camp, the other did not.
The first one, Jordn, has a funny story.
We were having sectionals, but we ran out of stuff to do. So when the dm came in to see how we were doing, i told him we neede somethign to entertain us. He said to take an horulong water rbeak. so we all sat in a circle of boredom and started telling jokes. we ran out, so i said we should tell ghost stories. As soon as i said that, Jordon starts buttscoochign across the room. I asked him what he was doing. 'I'm going to the dark side!!!"

low brass got one freshie this year and its cause we stole him from the woodwinds (he is a Bari Sax and has the same part as the Tuba) he doesnt talk much but I think he is still getting used to us cause the low brass is loud and and 2 out of 5 have extreme adhd
(like we dont even let them sit next to each other anymore cause they just talk the whole time) I'm weird and will say random things when im thinking of them and the last non freshie is scary (he is the section leader) one time he was like "you know the best motivation is to scare people and pulls a big a** knife out of his pocket" i just looked at him and said "hey stop trying impress me with you weapons im not into s and m" so our poor freshie is probably scared to death of us
