Susan bounced around excitedly outside of the cave he was supposed to be meeting Rhythm at. It was a pleasantly warm summer day. And the whole forest smelled of freshly tuend earth and grass. Just altogether fresh and alive.
Susan didn't notice that though becuase he was still almost mortified that Rhythm didn't know a thing about raving, but her father was Hadyen. He was such an amazing raver... Back when Susan knew him best.
It was tragic really, just tragic. Especially since she seemed so willing to learn, and you know... she glowed with out having to wear glow sticks. That was pretty bad a** too. Sure that skull on her head scared the living glow lights out of Susan, but she was still a pretty cool kid, she even had her own glow sticks and everything! At least Hayden had been doing something right!
He sighed shaking his dreads out, in a sort of way that seemed to travel down the rest of his body to the tip of his tail, which vibrated until it was all out and done with. He lowered himself to the ground and tucked his legs up and underneath his body, just sort of chilling where he was. Feeling the warm breeze make its way through the trees, listening to the birds chirping to one another Just, hanging out. Waiting for that cutie pie Rhythm to get there.
It was weird, thinking that Hayden had kids now... hell. Hayden was really just a kid himself, Susan on the other hand... well, he was really the adult. And yet, Hayden had done all of the grown up things before him... found a place to stay. Gotten a mate. Had kids. He almost couldn't believe it.
But... atleast Susan was getting some of those things done.. right? He'd found a mate, found a place he'd wanted to stay. Not all he had to do was have some kids. Don't get him wrong, he loved just being able to be with Xi alone, but sometimes, he would think about what Xi and him would name their kids...
He didn't think Xi really wanted kids though... He just sort of felt like, when ever the topic came up, no matter how light. Xi was only sort of humoring him, becuase he knew it would make him happy. Susan was certain though, they would have children together. But for right now... he could just practice on Haydens kids. That's what best friends were for right?
Speaking of Hayden's kids... He looked around curiously, his ears facing forward as he did so. Where was that kid?

Rhythm had left to go get some more glowsticks just so she'd have enough to go this whole Rave thing, She was scared to screw it up because the fawn is very much so a Perfectionist. She had the glowsticks in her mouth and her head lowered so that she could sniff out and munch away any dandelions that were in her way as she tried to find the cave she had stumbled upon earlier that day. She didn't know this Susan guy but she had been told that he was her father's bestfriend, so he had to be a good guy, obviously if the older male had trusted him she could too.
The female let out a sigh picking her head up and using her bright and glowing eyes up to look out and see if she could see the cave in the fading light, she wanted nothing more than to hurry up and get to the other glowstick infested male, She needed to know how to make her father proud, she figured that no one loved her so she'd have to do as many things as possible to get her father to love her because well, she really only loved him well along with her sister and brother, her mother not so much. She shook her head and sighed as she could see in the distance the faint glowing. " oh... better hurry." She muttered to herself as she started back towards the cave.
Carefully she began to gallop towards the faint light that was growing brighter in the fading light of night, She panted slightly as she came to a stop in front of the cave. " Susan?" she called out loudly to make sure that her scary appearance didn't scare the male at all.

Susan didn't really think about perfection when he was raving, didn't even think about perfection when he was watching someone rave. So long as you didn't tangle your sticks with another herla's glow sticks, and you didn't just hit yourself a bunch of times with the sticks then it was all good. It was just all about the motion, and keeping it all moving. Making the strings and the sticks an extension of yourself. It was easy to do, but at the same time, it was a pretty hard task. But he had faith in the little yearling coming out to meet him. She was Hayden's kid after all, what was the worse that could happen right?
Susan's head lifted and his ears turned forward when he heard the voice call to him from the opening of the cave. He smiled wide and took a few trotting, prancing steps forward to get to her. "Hey honey bunch!" He called cheerfully, in an always perky mood as he stepped out of the dark and into the.... well... Not so dark night sky.
He giggled as he stepped through and reached out to nuzzle the little glow bug... Well. He reached out and nuzzled her neck becuase to be honest that thing still kind of freaked him out. <_<
He shook out his dreads as he pulled back and looked at all of the glow sticks she had decked out around and on her. "Don't you look like a ray of glow shine 8D" He squealed pawing at the earth just still not being able to believe that THIS was Hayden's kid.
"Oh!" He said quickly, "Before I forget~" He lowered his head and looked into her eyes the best he could with the light and the mask she was wearing. "This is very important~ Don't call me Susan in front of others ok? Call me Anthony~ Uncle Susan doesn't like his real name, and only you, your sister, your father and my Xi know it ok?" He asked her very seriously. He had a few macho friends now, and to be honest, he didn't want to lose them becuase of his name.

The little fawn nodded at her 'uncle' but the request bothered her quite a bit, why would anyone be worried about they're name, it was who they were. She took a step back from him a small frown painted on her face." I will uncle, but why? what's wrong with susan?" she cocked her head to the side as she waited for his response.
She flicked her tail back and fourth a little bit, the natrual glow of her markings flicking across the walls of the cave, Her stomach nodded up a but, what if there was something wrong with her name, maybe that's why her mother hated her.

Susan stopped for a minute; trying to think up a good way to explain it. "Well... boys aren't supposed to have a name like Susan." He finally said. Not wanting to really have to go into all the trauma it's caused him in his life. "When they do; some others might pick on them." He added on. "That's why; I would rather have everyone think my name was anthony instead. So that way, no one will want to make fun of me."
He smiled. nodding his head with all of the things sticking out from his dreads. Which probably wasn't helping him in his attempts at not getting picked on. But to him; it was all about his name. That was the thing that had screwed him up in life. Not the way he acted. His name.
"But girls are lucky~" He giggled. "They can have any name they want~ and everyone will think it's so cute."
