Somehow, somewhere in the ship, Drolic, Eaayta and Reghen had found a room with a working intercom. Drolic promptly directed Reghen to begin calling names in the hope that some of their guests remained in the party chamber and would actually respond. Eaayta made her way back to the top of the stairs, once the location of the interrogation chamber had been established, intending to lead willing participants to the correct room.
Every so often, if there were no volunteers to be had, Drolic would pace the halls looking for someone to question. He had no problem dragging the unwilling in for a bit of Q&A.
No matter how one got here, once they did Drolic took a seat behind a high metal table and turned reptilian eyes on the person or people in front of him. They might have been standing or sitting or pacing themselves, but the green alien was outwardly calm.
Reghen began the session with a, "Welcome, thanks for coming," which was likely either politely appropriate or condescending and slightly amusing.

While Hoss had ignored the initial page over the intercom, it was far harder to ignore a large green man who could easily physically haul you away. The purple child eagerly waited the day when he'd hit a growth spurt and hopefully put on some height and muscle. This was just embarrassing and annoying.
The boy sat in his chair, idly drumming his metal fingers against the chair in an annoyed fashion. "Oh, how could I refuse your hospitality?" He asked, eyes half lidded. "That would be rude."

Reghen had the decency to look embarrassed by his well-rehearsed opener, at least. "Um... sorry."
Drolic narrowed his eyes.
"Yes, your host would just like to know if you've ever come across a woman who could change her shape. Blonde, most likely. Or a girl." Obviously flustered, Reghen retreated to a corner of the room to continue his translation from there. Let Drolic intimidate by himself, or whatever he felt like doing.

"It'd be hard to know iffen they could change their shape, wouldn't it?" Hoss asked, his drawl back in full swing. "Hell, even th'blond ain't a good description. You know how many blonds there are on Gaia? And how many more kin change their shapes or hair or whatever?"
"And if yer lookin through us criminals, then whatcher lookin' for prolly looks differnt now. Yer gonna need more than 'blonde shapeshifter'. Gonna need a DNA or somethin'."

It was clear that Drolic hadn't understood half of what Hoss had said, with the accent and use of concepts like DNA. Reghen nodded at his boss' uncertain expression and began to translate.
After Drolic replied, Reghen said, "Yes. All valid points. We have reason to believe, however, that this shapeshifter only uses her powers occasionally, and might even brag about her time doing so. Criminals often boast about their escapades. Apologies if you are one." Reghen had arrived on this planet in a pod himself, but he had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time and didn't really enjoy being lumped in with deliberate wrongdoers.
