Okay, I'm Monochrome Monster, I'm 13, and I love reading books. Its like my addiction. =)

I read mysteries, action, romance, and adventure.
I've read plenty of different books, such as the Harry Potter Series, hush hush, Vladmir Tod, Twilight [Hated it! >=( ], and the Maximum Ride Series. I'll add more if I remember them, but I hope this helps you girls with helping me out with book finding.

I've heard about The Hunger Games, Artemis Fowl, and The Gemma Doyle Trilogy.

I've read Percy Jackson and the Olympians already, but that was a good suggestion to make. =3

Definatly read Unwind. It's more than worth it smile )

I'd definatly hit up the Gone series, by Micheal Grant. Amazing series.

Vampire Academy and House of Night should definatly be on your list of have reads.

The strange angels series is amazing, but it has language. So if your a relitivily innocent 13 year old, like I was, stay away from them...

The book Willow is amazing. It's about a girl who cuts herself because she believes she killed her parents.

Kiss me kill me is what I'm currently reading. It seems like it's going to be a good one.

Uhhh... I read a book in 8th grade called Mason. It's really good but the ending is so sad.

The Host is also by Stephanie Meyer. 10000000000x better than twilight.

The blue bloods is a fairly good series.

I enjoyed the kingdom keepers, but that's only if your a Disney fan smile

the looking glass wars trilogy is amazing. And there's a graphic novel smile )

Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. is definitely one of the unique fantasies out there. One of my favorites.
And I highly recommend The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. The movie couldn't capture the real message of the story and all that happens (as that is usually the case with books turned movies). I had a real hard time putting that book down.
And The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause. Vampire book. I admit, I liked Twilight. But I liked this book so much more and the ending I think was perfect.
And that's all I could think off at the moment. sweatdrop

Yeah, someone told me about Unwind, and all the talk about it is really convincing me that its worth reading. Perhaps next time I drop by the book store I'll buy it.

I've heard about the House of Night Series, many people have suggested it to me, but there are so many books, its going to be awhile until I get to reading it.

I've read The Host, and I agree it was a good book. Not the best book ever, because I believe that Stephanie Meyer isn't the best, but it had a beautiful story.

The rest of them I've never heard about, but they all sound like good suggestions, I'll keep them in mind, for sure.

As for Inkspell, I read that one, and the rest of the series. The series is actually Inkheart though, not Inkspell. Though Inkspell was the best of the series. I loved Dustfinger. But I ruined the book with water. gonk So there is no re-reading that one unless I purchase it again.

I heard the Lovely Bones is a good story, but when I wathced the movie, it was just blah blah blah. But, like you said, that is normally what happens when people make movies based off books.

Hmm...The Silver Kiss...I already like the title, its very...pretty. Have to check that one out. XD

Thanks for your suggestions girls, I appreciate it. <3

Oh please do read Sarah Dessen Books, some are good and some deal with problems for teenagers.

Right now Im reading "Someone Like you" by her and it deals with teenage pregnancy,it may sound cheesy but it really isn't!

*I have heard of the Silver Kiss,I read it aswell it is really good!C:

I just read The Maze Runner.
It's actually pretty decent. XD
East is pretty good too... it's a retelling of beauty and the beast. But it's not bad.
I'm limiting myself to two... I have a knack of listing fifty books and overwhelming people! XD
